Mithyria laughed gleefully at his retort, bobbing a nod and causing her scales to reflect on the walls for just a moment. The alpha made a good point. "Touche! But sometimes you're stuck with nothing but the berries and the stars above you. Gotta keep your strength up somehow, right?" She smiled off the statement, switching her attention to the scripts and texts he was studying. She traced the scales on his face as he spoke, not sure where to look but knowing that she had to look interested, alongside actually being interested, or he might assume she was just goofing off like usual. Her brow rose however at the word 'spineless', and her gaze went to the front of his face like it should have been. Were elves really that bad? The question stung at the tip of her tongue, and she desperately wanted to speak it, but all words vanished at his suggestion for one of his texts. He'd let her read one of his documents?! A grin gleamed its way across her face, and she invested in what it was about. A wish-granting serpent. She looked down at herself, picking up her feet one at a time dramatically, then extending her wings just the slightest with a playful huff. Finishing her investigation, she turned her head back to him. "Darn, I look nothing like a serpent. I guess I'm not this fabled creature. I certainly wouldn't choose an island of decaying ships though. Perhaps fallen temples...marble temples. That's what I would choose. I'd look like a fallen goddess instead of a wretched pirate siren." Her grin matched her amber eyes. "I would be interested in reading it, though! Perhaps I'll use her story to find her, or see where her resting place is. Wouldn't that be cool. Oo! Maybe I could bring back some type of trinket, to add to the lore bits! Then you could really have a collection to be proud of." Her tail swished gently with the thrilling possibility. But at second thought, it might be a fruitless venture. "But maybe that's for another time. I'll read it first! See if I'm as much of a fan of elven texts and lore as you seem to be." She nudged her shoulder against his.

Cazram was certain that his fear was immediately noticeable as he stood there, pretty sure that if he wasn't in shock, he would have wet his pants. Whoever this man was, he was nobody to trifle with. Rajani would know what to do. She would have beaten him up before he even approached. Yes, that's what she would have done. And they would have escaped and not have to worry about this. He frowned, looking at her eggs in his grasp, still barely breathing. She was way more suited to protect these two. But he was in charge now. He had to do whatever it took to do it himself. Whatever it took. The cold blade touched his neck, and he could feel the pierce down each individual vertebra. He had to make a decision fast, get out of the vicinity and come back when it was safer. What would the dragoness do? Unfortunately, he was not given much time to think, as the man uttered quite terrifying words to him in the growing darkness. Of course he mentioned rash decisions. Was he a mind reader?! That had to be it. He could see every thought into his cluttered head. Not given much other option, he knew he had to shift. Taking in as deep of a breath as he could manage, he turned into his crimson dragon form, immediately laying on the ground to curl the eggs behind his front legs. He bore his teeth at the stranger, able to see better, instinct driving him to flee but he knew he had to stand his ground, if only because he didn't know where he could flee to."Leave the eggs out of this," he growled, his voice rumbling through the trees with a stammer rising in his elongated throat. He just wanted backup. Strike that. He wanted to get out of here.

"Touche! But sometimes you're stuck with nothing but the berries and the stars above you. Gotta keep your strength up somehow, right?" She chirped. Inclining his head with a small huff trailing across his fangs, Dark Shadow muttered below his breath in a somewhat playful manner. "If you are a poor hunter, I suppose that's a valid claim." A raffish grin slid past the male dragon as he said this. But it fell away right afterwards so that he could perceive her reaction to his ancient tales. Her head bounced while she listened to him. That is, if she was listening. However, he misinterpreted her interested smile as fascination for the lore but unfortunately, to his dismay, that was not the case. She had assumed he would lend her the book to read. Well, she was mistaken. Playfully, Mithyra elegantly lifted up her feet with her every step and splayed out her wings ever so slightly. She was doing the whole exaggeration reaction again. Dark Shadow enjoyed it and he smiled when he responded. "Marble temples? What happened to your vivid imagination?" He jested. "I could see you enthroned at a kingdom with servants attending to your every whim. The people would sing praises to your name for all eternity! Then you would be a goddess, and it would probably put this Sanctuary to shame, my dear." The sundown dragon boasted with a brief little wink. Then he returned to his naturally royal mannerisms but the smile still lingered on his face. He said, "I get the sense that you have already been around coves for long enough as it is, you could consider yourself a pirate if you truly desired it." He was hinting at her species. Then pulling his attention away for the moment, the Alpha dipped his head to acknowledge a passing member who lightly bowed at him. When he had, he flicked his eye back to the female. She was quite elated over this whole ordeal and ranted over it. Mithyra also mentioned hunting down the elusive serpent and bringing back some valuable trinkets. "Then you could really have a collection to be proud of." She said. "Oh? Is that so?" He chuckled deeply. Afterwards, she nudged her shoulder against him, which was rather amusing considering she didn't have the weight to even slightly affect him. It was like trying to push over a stone building. But he watched her do it with a light shake of his head. Then he addressed the obvious. "Forgive me but I'm afraid to lower your enthusiasm a little - unless you happen to be fluent in elvish, I can guarantee you won't be able to understand much of it...and the book is a little barren as far as pictures go." Dark Shadow imagined she wouldn't be interested in something so in depth and dry in reading, even if she could read elvish. It probably would have been painful for someone like her. Nevertheless, he appreciated the thought.

For a minute more, the two of them were completely silent. The man he had his sword against was completely frozen in place, taking a huge breath into his lungs. Akatosh gently clasped the hilt of his blade in case things went awry. He narrowed his clouded eyes. Then suddenly, he was no longer pressing his weapon against a man but the scaly hide of a dragon. This had reassured him and while the dragon was focused on shielding the eggs, he sheathed his blade behind his back and allowed the tension between the two to diminish. "Leave the eggs out of this." The dragon warned with a hiss. Akatosh merely dipped his head respectfully with his hand over his chest for but a moment. "My friend, you may relax yourself and know that I am not any danger to you or to the eggs." He responded calmly. Even if he was in his human form, he was not afraid by the presence of this towering beast before him. "I am one of you. Is there anything I can do to aid you?" He inquired, gently staring at the shack in the distance while he spoke. "I received a distinct impression to come here after I came across a man in the village." He explained. "The man came here and things seem to have escalated quite a bit. Do you know what is happening?"

A kingdom and servants indeed. What a concept, brought by the mighty male of the sanctuary. The emerald dragon pretended to heavily ponder the idea, that grin still plastered across her face like a complete dork. She couldn't help but be enthralled by the idea of being worshipped. Everyone dreamed of being an alpha, right? She gazed at him, her gaze changing from interest to a jesting seriousness as she lifted her chin high in the air. ”Oh? Who says I don't have that already? You don't know all my wildest secrets, dear Alpha. Perhaps there are humans who praise me to keep me from destroying them, or dragonlings that play pretend that I am the dragoness that saves everyone." She let out a hearty laugh, pulling her wings close to her side again as they continued walking. It was a fun idea, definitely. She wouldn't complain about any life of luxury, especially one as nice as Dark had laid before her. Even just in banter, it intrigued her. "I suppose you could consider me the Pirate Goddess. But what fun is that when I could be the Marble Goddess? You get two completely different images when you think about them. One is some raggedy captain with a sword and leather pants, another is a white beauty that makes men quake at her beauty. I'm not white, but...you get the jist. Perhaps the Emerald Goddess? Or the Coral Goddess, representing my ancestry. You certainly make a lady's head spin wild with ideas, don't you? I might have to make my own list of dragon texts to make future generations wonder which one I actually am. They'd run amuck with chaos!" She cackled with delight, taking a breath to settle her spinning head. She'd get too carried away, and then she'd be being rude to Dark for not acknowledging his presence. He kept her grounded, temporarily. After she had caught her breath, she gave Dark a curious look. "You mean you read things without pictures?" she questioned before a sly grin instantly appeared. "I'm kidding. Kidding! I'm not that terrible. But maybe we could go over the major parts? Like an overview? You can obviously read it, you'd know what to mention and what is better left to the spineless elves." It'd certainly be interesting to see him work, show her his collection of lore if they ever went past the serpent. It would give her an incentive to go further in her travels, perhaps have an incentive to come back more often too, show him in return what she had collected and compare. It was an exciting thought indeed.

The red dragon was incredibly confused, still baring his teeth a bit at the man. Who was he, where did he come from? And why threaten him about the eggs? If he had been there three seconds beforehand, he would have seen him arrive with Rajani. But he guessed that he'd have to play with the cards dealt. A curl of smoke escaped his nostrils in warning, but he lowered his lip over his teeth once the man had stopped talking. The eggs stayed very close to his chest, a complete contrast to his shining white belly scales. "I don't," he finally said, not daring to look and see if there was any indication of what was happening, or what had happened with the house. This man could steal the eggs for himself, and he would not have that. Even if he had to chew his head off, which would be absolutely atrocious, but he would do it to protect the beings he was ordered to keep safe. "I'm ordered to stay here and keep watch over these. That is not my conflict." He referred to the scene that had happened only minutes ago. "I've been confused all day though, so I don't trust you, or many people, right now. I'd be safer if I knew you were a dragon." A piercing gaze, staring straight through the stranger's skull in question. What could he even do? He had to act somewhat intimidating, at the least. Wouldn't the raven girl want that? Maybe. He didn't know. He was flying by the seat of his nonexistent pants.

She had responded to him by making a jest that humans or some faraway dragon species could be worshipping her or fearing her like a deity, and that was quite the claim; it caused the dragon to give her a faintly amused look while he formulated a reply, enjoying the casualty of the conversation."If that is the case, I can't see why you would be here rather than with your loyal servants and those that fear you. Being a follower to an Alpha is quite a large step down from being a God, but what would I know ,you are all-knowing after all." The black dragon arched a scaly brow at her, observing her elated ideas and dreams about being a goddess. She brought such an interesting and strange perspective, and he found himself chuckle while she performed her exaggerated gestures. The green female bubbled up in excitement before she threw back her head and cackled with delight, "you certainly make a lady's head spin wild with ideas, don't you? I might have to make my own list of dragon texts to make future generations wonder which one I actually am. They'd run amuck with chaos!" Now that was a picture. "I regret being the first one to tell you this but the world is already in amuck. I am not sure anyone can do more damage to it." He teased with a one-sided smirk that followed his husky rumble. "Not even you..." With a shift in his eye, the sundown Alpha waved his tail ever so slightly while he paced alongside the female as she talked about wanting to hear the overview of his stories. Would his mentor mind? No, he figured she would want to share knowledge with anyone willing to listen, but then again, he felt like Mithyra wouldn't be patience enough to sit down and pay attention. She had many talents but he was unsure if sitting in one place for a long period of time was one of them. Dark Shadow found himself saying, "well if you desire it, I would be honored to teach you." He dipped and raised his head to emphasize this point and when lifted it, his warm look slowly fell into a neutral expression and then a pit of silence fell between them. Dark Shadow's intelligent eyes lingered on his clan as he recognized the strangers and watched them pass him by. It occurred to him that the Sanctuary had grown so much over the past two years and still more dragons slipped into his clan each day, it was such a strange concept. There were dragons from every corner of Interra, from the sea, to the rainforests, and the arctic biomes of the North; he had never seen such a diverse clan in all his life and he was at the head of it. One would think he would have beamed in pride, but despite what most would assume, it actually caused a feeling of guilt to lay on his shoulders. These dragons deserved much better than him, he reminded himself. It was a shame he had to be the one to lead them.
Dark Shadow's face remained barren despite the lingering, aching feeling. The air passed over his fangs and out through his lips as he exhaled with the cool canyon's breeze. "Would you really be interested in that?" He asked Mithrya, turning his head to face her. "Listening to the texts?"

Standing with a disciplined stance as he felt the guttural breath of the dragon before him, Akatosh had his arms held behind his back and his feet were shoulder width apart. He could feel the vibration in the male's chest while he growled that he didn't know what was going on. Evidently whatever trouble they came across, this dragon's role was to protect the offspring, and that he did. Of course, Akitoshi did not know if they were his or someone else's brood but none of this had initially crossed his mind, he trusted this male. "Believe me, if I were here to steal from you, I would have done so already, yet here we are. " He assured him. "If you wish to see me in my other form, then so be it. I hope it will reassure you that I have no foul intentions." Stepping back, the tip of Akatosh's foot grazed the grass as it slipped behind him, and his form shifted from that of a human to a half Asaerian, half Feather Crested dragon. His form was covered in both grey and jay blue scales and feathers, his ears were rested limply by the two pointed horns at his head. The crest of feathers that protruded down his neck ruffled as he lifted his head and his blue eyes were still clouded but they stared down upon the other dragon's hexic essence. Due to his Asearian blood, Akatosh had a longer neck, body, and tail than most other dragons. Nevertheless, now that he was in this form, he saw no reason to prolong it. He leaned back while he removed his front leg and claws off the grass and spoke. "There, you have seen me now." He said, and by the time these words had left his maw, he had shifted back down to his human form.

All-knowing? Oh, she liked the sound of that. She could even rule with few laws, and defeat criminals with logic to compete against their idiotic behavior. It would be brilliant. She picked up her head, tilting it to the side with her continues grin over at the Alpha. Goddess is a wonderful title, but she was sure she could beat his pondering. "I'm not so much a follower as I am a servant. Why, wouldn't any Alpha be beaming when the tales say how he has the Emerald Cove Goddess serving to his every whim? The rumors would be flowing out of their ears, and lift you so high that no Alpha would ever want to run you down. I don't see how you could possibly turn down that opportunity." She then let out a playful gasp at his next words, lifting her wings up in emphasis. "The earth, amuck?! My have I been gone a long time. But I think you underestimate my abilities, my spectacular Alpha lord. I can cause way more damage than anything the world has to throw at me. I could cut off someone's horns and cause them to think they've shed for the winter, or remove a single scale from each dragon and put them together to make future generations question if the scales are trophies from battle, or a sadistic way to keep track of kills. Or maybe I could scratch deep gouges into some random cave, and all the humans can go ballistic thinking there's a dragon living there! You never really know what riles the future, you know." Folding her wings back, she had a proud gleam to her eyes, a pep in her step that seemed to further exaggerate her already bouncy perambulating. She was a bit surprised how quiet he was about the texts though, and raised a brow as she gazed at him. Did she hit a nerve somehow? Mithyria didn't think she could ever get beneath the Alpha's skin, considering how tough it was. The dragonness gave a look to it. It was sharp enough to stab someone in the back with, both ways. If she tried slithering her way beneath it, she'd certainly be turned red by the end of it all. But, he spoke again, and she sent a thanks to whatever goddess truly existed out there. His question confused her however. "Truly be interested? Oh yes, I only showed interest to  get you excited and then crush your dreams. Like one of my chaotic doings! But in seriousness, of course I want to know about the texts!" She gazed at him curiously with her big amber eyes. "I want to know about the serpent, and other creatures, and everything else you find interesting! I mean, who wouldn't be intrigued by the words of people, or elves, in the past? Especially when you're the teacher." Her grin returned. "I can only imagine that you're the most handsome explainer. Even if I wasn't interested in the words, I could listen to you talk all day," she teased, hoping to lighten him a bit. Which was difficult, with how dark he was (she mentally snorted at that), but there had to be a way. Hopefully, it was being herself.

Cazram could not immediately trust that this man was of no harm. Considering he met very few dragons outside the sanctuary, anything could be out to kill him, or the eggs. He'd rather die before anything happened to them. He was going to growl at the man from fear of his own demise, when he shifted for just a moment into a hulking dragon, having similar feathers to Rajani but still looking completely different than her. He wasn't sure what to think of the giant male, or at least he looked giant, before he was back to his human form. The red dragon pondered shifting back too, but he felt safer with his larger form protecting the black eggs. Letting out a puff of smoke, he sighed. "I have," he mumbled, lowering his head more to meet with the man. "Now that I suppose I can trust you enough...my companion and I came here, only to have another man be here before us. My companion chased after him, and I am here with the eggs. I was told not to move. So I won't." He glanced at the ground only for a second before meeting the shifter's eyes again. They scared him, but he tried to maintain the gaze. "I don't know how you could possibly help, and I don't believe my companion would appreciate a stranger interfering." He hated using that word, 'companion'. But what else could he use? Anything else could infer that him and Rajani were together, and if he used that, he would be the new carrying case for the little dragons he protected. As much as he was sure his hide would provide, he'd rather do it in his living body.

My, she had changed the direction of that story rather quicker than he had anticipated, now he was the one to be glorified? It was quite unexpected. Dark Shadow gave a simple, charmed smile at her efforts to praise him and he listened to her playful banter about how no other Alphas would dare challenge him for his rank if she was his servant. As a matter of fact, very little dragons would challenge him as it was just because of his breed. She had such an amusing nature though, he couldn't help but play along. "And waste your valuable time detaching horns, skinning dragons, and clawing at caves? A pity, my dear, it seems you have wasted your time then! Your high lord is more interested in other things than poisoning the minds of humans and future generations - no, he expects a proper tribute if he is to accept you as his mindful servant." Elevating his head as he exclaimed these words with a smile, Dark Shadow arched his brow at the green dragoness at his side with a regal poise. "What I would truly admire is if someone managed to whittle down the elves' ears and make them seem human, that would cause quite the stir no doubt. Imagine the damage that would cause!" Giving a chuckle off to the side, he passed his eyes away, not having seen Mithyra sink down coyly from earlier. It was easy for him to brush feelings aside, especially when the dragoness still insisted she was interested in hearing about history. That was a surprise to him considering she still didn't look like the sort, but who was he to judge. The Alpha was willing to teach anyone willing to listen and for the moment, that individual was her. Although, Dark Shadow found himself glancing at her from the corner of her eye at her flirtation, considering he hadn't expected it either. Her gaze was still upon him in a playful manner as he managed to wrestle up a reply. "Why thank you, I shall take that as a compliment." The male nodded his head slightly to give her thanks before turning his attention to his lair that was just around the bend. He could see the light trickling down from the sky above, casting a shadow upon it from the curve in the wall and his sharp blue eyes landed on its entrance.

Akitoshi stared at the dragon as he remained curled around the eggs like a snake, listening to his words leave his neck in a thickly rumble. "Now that I suppose I can trust you enough...my companion and I came here, only to have another man be here before us. My companion chased after him, and I am here with the eggs. I was told not to move. So I won't." He was glad to finally hear some piece of information, but the fear of trusting others was acceptable, especially considering Akatosh was a stranger to him. This was completely fair behavior, but it seemed like there was very little he could do in this position now. "I see." He said. "Would you want me to stay here and help you guard them, at least until your companion arrives? There seems to be more than one dragon at this location, but it is your call."

She was strolling through the village like anyone else with a black hooded cape and gold closure and a small dagger at her belt. The hood was draped across her wavy black hair and the shadow was casted over her eyes as they fell over the marketplace. Villagers were crowded around to buy goods and food like always. Sage turned her head to look from person to person, studying their expressions and gestures while they bartered and paid for their things. She lipped behind a customer, quietly pickpocketing the man as she passed him by, slipping his coin purse in a pocket by her belt. She felt Muscari would not approve of her behavior, but she knew some part of him would be impressed with how easy it was for her to take anything her heart longed for. Sage was good at that. Muscari and her lived together at a distance, he was her father figure of sorts -she never knew what happened to her real parents though she had dreams about them- but he could never keep her in one place for very long despite all his attempts. The ex-knight could provide for her, sure. She could have leaned on Muscari for food and things, but, she was quite a mischievous, independent little thief and she wanted things to go her way as always. The busy street, crowded with people made taking things easy. In a split second, she had taken an apple off a stand and weaved her way through the crowd as if she owned the area. Tossing the apple in one hand while she walked, her blue eyes rolled over her shoulder as a Knight had caught a glimpse of her. Had he seen her take the satchel of money, a necklace, and the apple? No he didn't. But he must have heard of her because the second he had caught a glimpse of Sage, he shouted "hey!" at her and armed himself. Giving the apple one last toss in the air, the girl stuck the apple in her teeth and hurriedly ambled by a group of people as the chase began. She sprinted around a corner as the group of people gave her cover, vaulting over a fence and leaping to a road. She dashed to the other side of the street and slid under the carts of horses as they walked down the cobblestone path. The guards ran to the spot, but by the time they had arrived, she was safe from harm on another rooftop. She was lying on her back with one arm folded behind her head as she ate the apple and listened to the commotion she had caused below her. The knights eventually gave up and she chuckled and brushed it off as just another day. Biting through the skin of the apple, its sweet flavor filled her mouth.

Having Shifted, Rajani chased the intruder a small distance before pinning the man to the ground as they were engulfed with Cazram’s smoky haze. Colliding into the earth, Orpheus' sword spun across the forest floor until it collided into a nearby tree trunk. “Now,” Her dragonic voice broke through the heaving of the lad’s lungs. A growl rolled deep within the dragoness as she placed her muzzle inches from the assassin's head. “I do not take kindly to the Shadow Rend tailing me… Do you understand?” She snarled as she began to apply pressure on his chest. She was ready to squish him flat, she knew what the Shadow Rend had been doing ever since she left… they murdered colonies of dragons, selling their hides and bones on the black market. Frantically, Orpheus began trying to speak gasping for air there was no way… not like this. Giving in to the unavoidable, the male shifted into his dragonic form, he was slightly smaller then Raj, clearly, he was younger. “Pl-ease, Rajani… y-you have to listen to me!” He struggled to push back her talons from his chest. His hind legs dug into her scales along her stomach and legs as his tail thrashed through the tall grass behind them. “Ab- abaddon has lost control…” He managed say under the amount of pressure she was delivering to his chest. “H- He’s looking to form… An alliance with the dragons under Soulirus’ rule.” He told her soon the dragoness allowed her deadly intentions to falter. “And what does this have to do with me, Orpheus?” She asked as she huffed, “Rajani, You are our leader you killed the previous alpha of our guild… “ Snarling the raven colored dragoness quickly stepped away from the assassin companion. “I’m not an alpha of anything… And the Shadow Rend is as good as dead to me.” She snapped.

Staying against the grass covered soil, the red and cream-colored dragon continued to lay low, submissive to the one he always looked up to, she was after all his sister in arms. “You know it’s not that simple Rajani.” He told her as he rolled up on his side, the evening light catching the golden piecing’s in his ears, “The only way this will all stop is if you end it… Abaddon will stop at nothing! He’s already sent Jilaiya and I, to infiltrate the Sanctuary in this area... I.. I was wor-“ cutting him off Rajani’s eyes narrowed in on the male she was still oblivious to what was taking place downwind. “Dark Shadow can take care of his dragons, I have no doubt in him.” She told the younger male. “You know him?” Orpheus tilted his head as Rajani allowed him to stand up. “Yes… in fact I… use to know him in another light.” She muttered as she redirected her gaze towards Caz and her eggs. For a moment, Caz’s smoke was obstructing her view. They had made it some ways into the forest but not quite out of sight. Opening her massive wings, the feather crested dragon began to flap in order to clear the air of the unwanted smoke haze. Folding her wings back in Rajani looked to Orpheus, the expression on his face was one of astonishment, he knew exactly what she meant by ‘Another Light’ Glancing off to the side the male sighed before letting a chuckle escape his lungs, “Never would have thought you’d settle down with someone… again.” As soon as those words left his mouth, Orpheus found himself once again pinned to the forest floor, for a moment she simply stared at him with deadly intent. Her talons were digging into his shoulders, “Hahaha sorry, I kid, I kid!” he chuckled nervously. Stepping away from the little spy, Rajani was finally able to return her gaze to the dragon who was watching over her eggs. Taking a few steps forward, Rajani found herself looking not only at Caz, but there was another figured… instantly the dragon's eyes constricted, her motherly instincts took control of her very being, “Orpheus… if that is one of his men I will kill you”. Leaving Orpheus laying in the tall grass, the new mother made her way back over to her eggs. A low rumbling growl rolled within the females chest as her fur and feathers stood on end. With each step, her talons dug into the soil, “I suggest you step away from my brood…” She snarled as she walked up next to Caz. Glancing down, she checked the bundles which were pressed snuggly against the fools stomach. Seeing as they seemed fine, the woman returned her cold gaze to the man before them. This brute was oriental, seemingly older than she and his eyes... They were hazy, fogged over. This man was consumed in eternal darkness. However, seeing his clothes and the way he wore his sword it was clear, he was not to be underestimated.

While Rajani stood protectively in front of a mystery male, Orpheus found himself a spot just a few dragon leg lengths away. There was a lot he needed to tell the assassin companion, he had to inform her of what all had taken place since she had left the volcanic den. And he had to be her inside ears, like he had always been… He was the reason she was able to find and opening that day Odemodeous had left himself unguarded… and he stayed behind to be of use to her later… or at least he hoped he would be. The 19 year old was ready to die for the dragon that was rightfully his alpha as well as the leader to the others in his little brigade.

There was still one man who hadn’t come out, seeing how many there were Zephyrus decided it was best he came at another time. Sure, time was of the essence but this meeting had to wait for the right time… it was after all, his daughter who he had abandoned over fourth-eight human years ago, he knew she had pent up resentment for him…

Watching the girls body language, Jace chuckled a little, “If you’re not comfortable, I wont force you to come along.” He told her with a small smile. She was so softly spoken, and seemingly obedient. Shifting into his dragon form, Jace looked at the girl before pushing himself off the rocky surface and into the air. Flying through the opening of the sanctuary, Jace paused just at the edge of the cavern to make sure Ash was right behind him. With how quite she was, he wouldn’t be surprised if he accidently lost her… that would not be good.

Listening to what her dragon friend had to say next shocked her, a puzzle look glazed over the woman's face as she tilted her head a little to one side. Clearly, the elf was wondering about why such an action was taken, but knowing how protective Rathian seemed to be she felt maybe it had something to do with his mother. Pondering the thought, Aya decided not to ask about it. Some memories didn’t need to be brought to the present. “Oh, I see.” She replied gently to the dragons distant past, not wanting to pry. “I’m sure you had a good reason for such a thing.” She told him with a warm smile before a bright twinkle of excitement came back to her eyes. “So, Rathian, would you be willing to chat with me about what you know about your kind?” She asked him curiously as she looked up at him with her sea foam green eyes. His red hues were so vibrant, almost captivating, were all dragons eyes like this? She like Krogoth’s orbs as well though she was rather overjoyed at that point she hadn’t been able to take everything in at a slow pace like she was now. At that moment, Rathian had raised his hand revealing the small web like features between each of his fingers. Aya’s sea foam green eyes locked on to his hand as she brought her own hands up to his. The man had quite large hands compared to her own but that was a given, her fair skin looked nearly white against his tanned, callused hands. Her fragile looking fingers gently slid over his webbed fingers, a curious look within her eyes. Krogoth’s hands were normal as a human, nothing about him ever screamed ‘I’m a dragon’ yet she knew he was a dragon because of the state she found him in when she escaped enslavement. “I’ve never seen anyone with webbing between their fingers before… Not even those I knew were dragons, you’re rather unique Rathian.” She told him with a giddy look in her eye. This was amazing, were all dragon’s as unique in their beings as Rathian was? Were they all different?

It was uncanny, how disconnected Kolvar was acting. What had happened between here and the market to cause him to be so… distraught? Walking alongside the elf, Riya watched him closely until he politely allowed her to take the lead. As the young woman took a few strides ahead of him, she folded her hands into one another and held them just in front of her waist. “Kolvar, may I ask what’s eating at you? I don’t mean to pry but… you were quite the character this morning in the market. What news has caused your very being to faultier?” She asked as she glanced over her shoulder at him. For a while, the elf stayed silent, his eyes were locked on the soil beneath their shoes. After some time, Kolvar’s voice broke the silence between the two. Looking back at him the peach haired woman smiled, “Yes, it’s quite a nice manner isn’t it.” She agreed as she looked up at the building they were walking up to, “I, for the time being, do live here. It’s very peaceful… The couple that own this estate are rather old and are always welcome to help those who need it.” She informed him, “If you ever find you need a bed to sleep in, never forget that this manner is here.” She made sure to offer him her hospitality. Hearing the elves boots fall silent, the dragoness quickly turned around to see what the problem was, “Kolvar? “ she called to him, “Is something wrong?” She asked as she paused for a moment to listen. Crying… there was a child crying? It was very hard to hear with her human ears but she could just barely hear it. “Yes… it’s very faint though.” She informed him before quickly starting towards the stables, “Let's grab the horses, no child should be lost in these woods!” She told him as she gathered up her dress and began to run to the small horse stables. Having not been too far off, the fair woman quickly grabbed her horse. Mounting up bareback, Riya made sure to grab ahold of his horses reins and pony it back to him at an acceptable speed.

He looked at his hand and smoke billowed from his mouth as he let out a course chuckle. "Well, M'Lady... I'm afraid I dont know much. Only what I know about myself. I've never met another Dragon, my mothers human. I can tell you what I know about myself, little Elf." He said. Taking a step back finally and letting her have room to breathe. He sat down on a boulder nearby and looked at her. "What would you like to know? How fast I fly? How hot is my fire? How many I've burned alive? How big I am?" He asked, clearly ready to give up a dragons secrets. His eyes flickered back to their normal color, his hands returned to normal.

Watching as the burly man stepped back, giving the girl her space he began to chuckle before explain he may be a bit of a disappointment regarding what she wished to know about his kind. Finding this a little amusing herself Aya began to chuckle a little herself as she watched him take a seat on a boulder. “I’m sure you can answer at least a few of my questions…” She told him with a confident smile as she stepped away from the tree trunk. Looking up at the trees with her hands now clasped behind her back, Aya hummed to herself as she thought about a suitable question to ask him. Pivoting on her right foot, and taking a few more strides in the opposite direction, the elves brow began to wrinkle as she submerged herself into deep thought. After a short amount of time the girl whirled around to face her knew dragon friend, “Since you don’t know much about other dragons, I’d assume you wouldn’t know whether different dragons have different breath types so… Most generally, all dragons fly correct?” for a moment the girl began to bounce on the balls of her feet, “So!!… What’s it like to fly!?” She asked him as she leaned towards him. Clearly, she was becoming rather excited as it was finally setting in that she actually had someone to talk to about dragons that was actually a dragon.

After quite the journey, the royal blooded dragoness had finally located the sanctuary she had been searching for high and low. “Finally…” the female muttered as her white and gold wings cut through the cool air. Gliding up along the edge of the cliff, the jeweled dragoness pushed forward at the sharp incline, she was nearly to the top… hopefully, the child would be here that way she could ‘kill two birds with one stone’ so to speak. However, she couldn’t feel the mental connection, at least not as strongly as she could in the past… it was almost as if it was split into two halves, which didn’t make sense… maybe there was another? Or maybe she had offspring? There were too many questions that needed to be answered. Shaking the thoughts away, the older female continued, ignoring the storm that took siege of her mind. Reaching the top, the white and gold dragon swooped down into the cavern. Her large wings slowly lowered herself gently down onto the stone ground. Upon entering Akenehi could feel the eyes of the other dragons on her, it would be silly to think they wouldn’t be, she was royal blood… It was impossible for one to not want to follow those who carried the blood of an alpha. “Don’t worry… I have no intention of staying long, Where is your Alpha?” her voice was warm yet beard the tone of a well-respected leader, stern, yet understanding.

Mithyria giggled with delight as Dark bantered back to her, pearly white teeth emerging from her emerald muzzle. This was the Alpha she appreciated. But his ideas were quite clever indeed, and she took note of them, hoping to use them later however they ended up appearing. He seemed to know more about trickery than she did. “Oh yes, the elves would be riddled with fear and disgust! I would be the talk of the next three centuries, and they would look to you as the one who endorsed such an outrage. Perhaps I shall bring back the spare points, and you could hang them on a necklace to display to the world just how powerful you are. And the fashion taste! Elf ears would be all the rage next season, all thanks to your Coral Goddess of the Emerald Reef. I know, I know, no need to thank me. Your approval is all I need.” She laughed again, hardly able to rid herself of the infectious joy she felt imagining such a fantastical world. What would her Alpha say if such things were true? Maybe she really would be his prized servant, or an emissary to the underwater creatures. She had always wanted to learn to speak fish anyways. Her sleek cheek fur was brushed slightly by a draft of wind as she noticed the bend in the wall, and guessing by the other dragon’s stare, that was where his office was. Or study, she supposed it should be called, since he studied the ancient texts there. {i]Are elven studies used for studying?[/i] That’d be a question she’d have to ask. But, his voice rang out again, and her teeth continued to show. “It was meant to be one!”’she exclaimed, pulling her wings tightly to her sides in preparation of entering his space of intent. She wasn’t exactly sure what had changed since she last visited, and for all she knew, she’d knock down a thousand scrolls with her shimmering tail before he could even sit down. It wasn’t long ago that her very tail had wiped out a section of coral and caused a goldfish family to move out from it. She had collected so many shells to repay. But, her mind was off track. She pulled back to reality, keeping a step behind Dark so she would enter as his guest. That, and so she wouldn’t run into any sudden walls or decor pieces if the doorway was only big enough for one dragon…or one person at a time.

Cazram curled his head slightly closer to himself, glancing down to the eggs as the strange dragon spoke. Did he need any help? It seemed like it would be considered weak to ask for help, especially when it came to unborn dragons. They didn’t even need to be fed. The red ridgeback opened his mouth to respond when a familiar feminine voice sounded from behind him. It definitely startled him, his wings flaring up slightly. He even tugged those black eggs closer to him. But he was oh so thankful that she showed up, truly. Otherwise, he might have really been shoved into a corner and might have made a terrible decision. He finally shut his mouth after a moment, gazing up at her for a few moments before his eyes went back to the dragon man before them both. What was the woman beside him planning to do? He didn’t know if he wanted to watch her hurt him, stranger or no.

Lucifer
A odd greenish pale ooze dripped from above and landed with a slight squish beside Akeheni. An elongated claw slowly reached from the darkness of the ceiling, behind it following a slow and slithering male. Rotten like a old corpse, and reeking of death, holes eaten away at once whole flesh. He dropped onto the floor and a long snake like tongue flickered out of his mouth. "Alpha? Oh hes somewhere about. What do you need him for?" He asked in a dull monotone way. The kind of tone that showed he didnt care, but asked because he had to.

Rathian
He listened and watched the little elf. "Flying? Its... its power, its freedom, open air and speed. I cant describe the passion it gives someone, to open wings and fly above trees, mountains, and clouds." He said and looked at his own hands. "If you ever would like... I'll show you." He offered, looking back up at her, his eyes searching her own face for expression.

"Precisely my point. If such a thing were done, they would weep for hundreds of years and even then some! It would be the cruelest fate of all, crueler than death itself. I am so glad I am finally able to find someone with such a like mind, but alas Coral Goddess of the Emerald Reef, you seem to have quite an act for these mischievous affairs yet you still lack a certain je ne sais quoi." He smiled with a lavished expression. "I am not sure if a neckless would be a fitting end to their mangled ears, no-no. The elves might mistakenly believe that they are valuable in our eyes if their ears become something valuable themselves, and being your high lord above all else, I do not desire that outcome. There must be something far crueler out there than that. There must be something else." A glimmer of light sparkled in his fangs as he smiled broadly at a most ingenious idea that was so desperately trying to leave his lips. The dragon was glad there were no elves present at the sanctuary, else this back and forth banter would be quite scandalous. But, the Alpha took a liking to this rather sinister subject. So much so, that Dark Shadow grinned the entire time. "Elf ears have a perfect point, not for fashion, but for picking teeth you see. I always struggle with the gap between my canines and I can name nothing worse than a fate such as that!" A chuckle simmered in his throat for a moment longer as he stopped to embrace the cruel idea. It was dastardly wonderful. Of course, it was all hypothetical, there was no seriousness to any of this nonsense, but he hoped none of his members overheard their discussion and took offense to it. Either way, he would enjoy it nevertheless.
Mithyra continued to possess a large smile throughout their walk to his lair. The scraping of claws against the floor reverberated across the lair's walls, back towards their ears while members of his clan traversed and talked amongst themselves, and before long, the two of them came upon the large entrance against the left side of the Sanctuary. There were no other caves on either side of his, emphasizing his importance and level of authority. Two dragons could easily stride in through the Alpha's den side by side without grazing the walls with their hide and even further in, the cave was far wider. Mounds of gold, various jewels, chest filled with treasures, and other various items were piled in the center of the lair for all to see. The gold's color danced and sparkled as light trickled into his lair from the outside. Occasionally Dark Shadow would catch entertained looks by visitors whenever they passed by, simply because it seemed to fit the human stereotype of a dragon den - the gold, the mounds of objects, and things. Most dragons did not fit the persona, so it was amusing for them to see. Even he chuckled at the sight of it. After all, he had so much here, he scarcely knew what he had, aside from the books and scrolls, which were his true treasures. Against the walls of the lair, collections of chests, scrolls, armor, and weapons that were decorated on stands and on tables.
He waved his tail ever so slightly as he strolled into his domain, observing the twinkling light of the gold and jewelry. Then his eyes meandered onto the red velvet throne chair that he would always sit at whenever he'd delve into his manuscripts and texts given by his mentor. He never really thought about where a guest would sit considering he never thought any of them would ever desire to hear him ramble about lore and whatnot. However, Dark Shadow knew he would be able to figure out some sort of solution, or Mithyra might enjoy simply resting on his mounds of gold...no, that would not do. Unlike him, she might not enjoy resting on hard surfaces and gold was not very comfortable to the average dragon. Fortunately, he had a few tricks up his sleeve for these occasions and it didn't worry him any. "Make yourself comfortable Mithyra, and I'll set up a seat for you in the meantime." He said smoothly, walking further in.

Before there was time for a reply, the mother of the brood - or that is what she claimed to be, arrived at the scene with a snarl at her lips and she was armed with a threatening voice. “I suggest you step away from my brood…” She warned him as she approached to gently check on her eggs. Bowing his head in obedience, the man took a few strides away from the mother dragon and the small lives she clung to protectively. "Forgive me for the misunderstanding, I am Akitoshi Kage, a simple wanderer of these lands. I mean you or your brood no harm. I was actually rather concerned for their safety considering the disturbance that you and that other man had caused not too far away." He explained in a calm, collective fashion. "I followed that man to this location and stumbled upon your eggs as a result. Now I am here."

Watching as a greenish slime slowly seeped from the space above her and sloppily splatted on the stone crafted ground, the dragoness rolled her eyes up to the owner of such a discharge. Sidestepping away from the rather revolting liquid, the dragoness raised a brow as she watched this beastly dragon slink down from his hiding place. His scent was almost worse than the sight of him, being of a regal breed, her nose was rather sensitive to putrid odors. Holes were clearly eating through his scales and flesh, how... how was this beast even living? Upon hearing his monotoned voice and seeing his rather disinterested eyes, she knew he wasn't concerned with what the jeweled dragon had to say. "I have news for him... as well as I'm looking for someone." She told the decaying creature before her. The dragon's silver eyes glanced passed the male, clearly taking a glimpse of the residents in the background.

He took her hand in his, almost excited to have someone to talk to about this. "Then trust me." He said softly and took off running, yanking her behind him. The rush of blood in his ears sounded like viking war drums. As he ran he hoisted the little elf up with one arm, transferring her from his hand, to his arm and working her body up until she perched onto his shoulders. "Hang on!!!!" He bellowed as he ran up a fallen tree, leaping over the river and spreading his arms. His fingers crackled and stretched like rubber, flicking out as his skin webbed and stretched into membrane. Flaps of skin from his shoulders stretched out and his hips reached to his pinky finger, forming fully fleshed out wings. His head became broad, long, spiked. Smoke poured from his lips and nostrils as his eyes darkened to a black and golden red. Frills lined his neck as it too stretched and lengthened out, his body following. The skin underneath the elf roughened to hard scales of pure armor. His legs popped in and out of place until they took a sharp and sturdy look to them. A full, thick, whipping tail grew from the base of his spine. Long and slender like a snake. He let out a deep and thunderous roar that echoed over the trees and rumbled in his chest. His chest plating shook and the trembled his body like the base of an instrument. His chest broke the waters surface before a loud clap rang out, his wings had smacked the waters surface and with a few hard strokes he was rising into the air. He worked himself above the tree tops and soon they glittered through the clouds. The air thinner, but the heavy heat he put off made the air thick and rich. His large lungs made it easy for his body to work the air flow. He roared out and a deep voice crackled from his lips.
"This is what it is, to fly!"

Lucifer
The Male rumbled lowly and lifted his head to meet her gaze. "Well Alpha is a bit busy, so if you would advert your attention to me. I'll gladly help you. My name is Lucifer, right hand to the Alpha." He hissed, a foul heated breath ripping from his lungs and wrapping itself around the female.

Light had been out in the forest since Ember and Trinity snapped at her a bit. It wasn't anything too harmful. She's handled the bullies back at home. The leaves crunched underneath her toes, making her squirm, but she went to her usual spots along the forest where she found most of her herbs earlier in the spring. Most had dried for the season, but she managed to get a few cool looking leaves. They were intact, most of them were orange, but one of them was a brilliant red that she really liked. Almost as red as Embers scales, her expression soften at the look of it then kept moving on, going further into the forest. It was easy to get lost, but easier to get back home.

Her anger led her away from the cabin, storming away, her sword hitting her thigh in her fury. How dare he? Belittle me so suddenly? He wasn't always like that but now? He doesn't deserve my help while he's like this, she shook her head, her march firm, but her thoughts kept her from paying attention on where she was going exactly; hopefully somewhere where she could lose him. But her pace began to slow down, then she let out a loud, agitated groan. "Bloody hell, how the hell could I have left Sean there," she mentioned her horse, and she rubbed the corners of her eyes to the bridge of her nose. "No, no, he'll be fine, I'll just... Head back in a few hours," but her eyes drifted to the tree tops slowly, realizing it was almost sundown. She should head towards the tavern to stay a night. But which way was which?

She sneezed, rubbing her nose for a moment. The sun was going down in a hour or two by this point, staring at the sky between the tree tops. Perhaps she could find the mysterious place of where all these dragons were. She is no master tracker, but this forest is riddled with all kinds of dragons, and yet, not on in sight. She transformed into her white dragons form and tried to sniff out any scent, but the fall leaves and her small cold were preventing any real results. She marched forward on what she thought could've been a direction of where they could rest.

Staring at his empty cup, he rubbed his hands on his trousers for a bit of warmth. She'd be back, right? Scratching the stubble on his chin, he glanced around the garden. It was surprisingly well kept for the most part. Was she blind? Did she mention it? He poured himself another cup, chugging it down, before standing up. He couldn't waste anymore time. Thoughts haunted him that this may not be the last place Light has been, or that this may have been her final resting place. What if his granddaughter had a mate? He swallowed hard at the thought. What if she's bleeding to death this very second? What if he comes across her corpse? Anxiety and the knowledge of not knowing was the only thing that pulled him up and began to clean up the dishes as best as he could without breaking the china. Although he was getting information from the young girl, he doesn't have the time to wait much longer. And he apologized for that.

She must've passed out on the sofa while waiting for her croissants to bake. Which is pretty bad considering it doesn't take long for them to bake. She bolted from the sofa and spun into the kitchen, only to find her father with a small bowl full of golden croissants, including one that was littered in his beard. "Don't eat them all-" He raised a hand to her, swallowing his last bite and looked at her. The look sent a cold shiver down her body and she looked to the side. "I don't want my house to catch fire or smell like a burn't log," he said, brushing his beard from all of the crumbs. "You need to take more responsibility for your actions and everything around you, girl," he grabbed another, his hands covered in dry dirt from working all day, and began to eat another. "Don't let this happen again because you were careless." He shuffled off back outside and she slowly looked at how many were left. Four, which isn't as bad. She walked to the window and see how far his father was; then ran into action. She grabbed a cloth and wrapped the remaining in it, then looked around for some string.

He's been inside all day basically and there was no sign that Kyle, the guy who was suppose to take his shift, was coming in. But no matter, he didn't mind working a bit longer until the owner came in to find him. Although that might take a few hours. So he constantly made sure the glasses were cold, drinks filled, and not a fight was taking place.
(Aye if anyone is at the tavern/inn, lemme know because im oblivious)

While the elf and the man, well, dragon, have a little me-time, his blue eyes slowly stretched down to the lion. He had been quiet for a long while it felt like, un-moving, but an unfortunate event occurred to him; he needed to pee. His eyes stared at the lion. The creature was pretty intelligent, it seemed, but his eyes flicked to the cabin that was a yard away. He swallowed, before whispering softly, "hey, um, so I have to tinkle. Since you're my prison guard, can you, um, escort me to some bushes over there," he shifted his head towards the direction of some bushes, the same direction from which he came from. It seemed a bit pointless to talk to him but maybe he would understand. A little. Who knows, the last town back, there was a dog who could count.

Watching as the stranger bowed, the mother's eyes narrowed and her upper lip raised as if to snarl, however, only a frosty mist was pushed passed her gritted canines. Slowly, the woman began to relax back down as this foreigner backed off as suggested. Rajani then listened to what he had to say with little aggression. "I see, you are..." She paused for a moment as if debating whether or not to give forgiveness to the male "forgiven..." She continued as she straightened herself into a taller stance, "I am Rajani Icecrea, and these are the fools which cling to my scaley hide, fool number one is Cazram, though I'm sure he didn't neglect to give his name, and the other lesser fool is Orpheus." She introduced herself before glancing to either side of her as if to introduce the others, first towards Caz then back to Eus, granted the foreigner was blind, he couldn't see her actions. "Though I fully intended on maiming the runt just behind me for entering my abode and showing his face in my presence... he's managed to swain my better judgment, there for at the moment he's nothing to be concerned about, however, I appreciate your sentiment." She told him as her purple hues fixated on his clouded orbs "He will not dare touch my brood if he knows what is best for him."

The lad began to scowled as he was addressed as a fool, though he couldn't help but smirk over at Caz when he realized he was more of a fool than himself in the dragoness' eyes. That was quite the accomplishment there, he had to be a true chicken to earn that spot. Still, with a sh*t eating grin on his lips, the man began to snicker as he glanced off to the side. It seemed almost as soon as the soft chuckles had left the young mans mouth, Rajani's tail had whipped up of the ground about three inches flew sideways, colliding into Orpheus' legs knocking him off balance and onto the ground. With a loud thud and a displeased groan, the wavy-haired boy snapped back with a grouchy tone to his voice, "What the hell was that for!?" he asked, of course, he didn't get a reply, only a quick irritated glance. Shutting up, Eus retook his previous upright posture and began dusting the dirt and grass from his dark attire.

Watching as the lesser fire dragon began to tilt his head to the side, the charcoal grey, and gold dragoness held her kind expressions to the best of her ability. It was going to take some precious time to get used to this... act... she had to keep up. Then again, what if she let the cat out of the bag and made up a lie to cover it up? Would he be intelligent enough to see through the wool she so kindly pulled over his eyes? It was probably best for the moment not to reveal too much, not just yet, Jilaiya had after all arrived mere moments ago. Taking in every little detail of this delicious prize before her, she noticed his sideways grin was quite charming as was his enthusiasm... he sort of, reminded her of that stubborn Orpheus she could never get to bend to her liking. As the lad beamed with delight he began to ramble on again responding to her in the process, "Ayye, preach it girl. That's why I love this job so much, I couldn't imagine doing anything else to be honest. I was practically born for it!" With a seemingly legitimate chuckle leaving her maw, Jilaiya then smirked in return for his teasing wink, "Well, it seems you've found your place, haven't you?" She said with a slight hum at the end, "Knowing where you belong is the best feeling..." She said before he motioned for her to come along. With his back turned to her an evil smirk washed over the dragonesses once kind expression for a second, she had her foot in the door now she just had to keep playing the game so everything would fall in her favor. Smiling with as warm a smile as she could and her mind on the award ahead, Jilaiya picked up the pace, quickly returning to the male's side as his eyes glided to her feminine physique. Of course, she noticed his hues caressing her scaly hide almost instantly, how could she not? As they walked, she had introduced herself and to her pleasant surprise, the golden-eyed lass caught Drake muttering her name to himself in quite the fond tone before saying, "I like that." softening her eyes and looking off to the side, as if to be slightly shy all this attention was quite empowering in more ways then one for the female, "Oh, why thank you..." she replied before returning her gaze to the path ahead of them. About that time was when her wing had 'accidentally' brushed against him, from that point on, Drake seemed to act calm yet his eyes stayed glued to what was ahead of them, instead of dancing all over her... had she gone too far? How, it was a slight brush of her wing! Was... was he still a virgin to romance?! Cursing herself silently, she hoped she didn't just set herself back ten feet. After what seemed like several minutes, the red-scaled dragon began to speak again, saying something that made her raise a brow, "Oh?..." She continued to eye him, clearly wanting to call him out on his sudden slip of the tongue. She'd heard him talking to the dragoness just ahead of them earlier, and with that social butterfly attitude, he had to have talked to every girl within the sanctuary and then some. Letting it slide, for now, Jilaiya nodded her head to his next statement, "Oh, wonderful... I'm currently in the market for a den so I'll keep this location in mind." She told him as she shot him a little grin, maybe she had flustered him, was that why he seemed to have clammed up earlier? Having her mind pulled from the topic, she watched as he began to pay attention to this dragoness named Morsa. Feeling a bit of jealousy creep into her chest, the woman felt a scowl wanting to take her uncharacteristic smiles away. However, she fought back the urge and remained to be calm and collected, a sweet smile resting on her lips. However, to her surprise, this woman seemed to be rather taken with her as well... which was unexpected. Very, unexpected. "Why, hello." She said feeling a bit of relief from her green monster within, this fea was attracted to females was she not? Either that or she was just very friendly. Catching Drake's figure stepping back away from them Jilaya returned her hues to him, his eyes looked somewhat pained... Oh, was he feeling something? Keeping a grin from nipping at her lips she returned her eyes to Morsa, "It's nice to meet you." She greeted the fea as she shifted on her clawed feet. Leavin her greeting to that, after Drake was kind enough to introduce them,  she began to follow the male again. Staying particularly close to Drake now, the woman flashed him a  quick look, she wanted to show him she was concerned without raising alarm to the other dragon.

As the man took hold of her delicate hand, Aya's head tilted sideways for a moment as she seemed to be confused, "Trust y-?"  she began to question him before he quickly yanked her entire being into a dead sprint. With eyes wide with shock, the elf woman did her best to keep up so she wouldn't be dragged by the draconic being. However, through the shock and confusion, the elf felt her excitement once again growing inside her chest. Was this really happening?! Was she really getting ready to fly with a real dragon?! This was amazing!! With bright eyes and quick footwork, she did her best to keep at Rathian's heels. Through the whistling of the wind in her long elven ears, she could hardly hear the sound of their feet hitting against the earth. Just how fast were they running, she had not run like this since she escaped her imprisonment over five years ago. Soon enough, the muscular man hoisted her up into the air, causing a surprised squeal to leave the girls lungs before she was safely on his shoulders. That entire process was nearly a flash, one moment she was on the ground and the next she was there mounted on his neck and shoulders. Quickly, Aya figured out where to hold on to him at, "R-Right." She stammered, what the heck would she hold on to? his ears?! For a second her mind was in a panic before she quickly figured out a way to hang on to his neck and shoulders from where she was perched. Within moments, Aya's foam green eyes were blessed with the unnerving sight of a fallen log which led to a slight drop-off and then the river... Slamming her eyes shut out of the sudden fear of falling, the elf missed most of the process of his shifting. The sounds of his bones pocking and crackling as well as the change in skin texture beneath her finally brought the girl to open her eyes. The man was quickly becoming, dragon, his skin was replaced with rough armored scales and his arms were stretched out and webbed with think leathery flaps of skin. It was amazing, so this was how they shifted, and what it looks like. "W-Wow." She muttered as she readjusted her hands as spikes and scales replaced the masculine shoulders she'd been holding on to. He was now much larger then he had been before, creating more room for her to sit on and move. For the moment though, the elf wasn't going to move until his flight leveled out. Once his shift was complete, Rathian let out a loud, rumbling roar which startled Aya at first causing her to jerk, she could feel the vibrations of his voice and lungs beneath her, the power in which he held inside with a simple vocal movement like that was amazing. However, her amazement along with her excitement for those first few seconds faded rather drastically as she heard his wings collide with the water let alone the water which was already grabbing hold of his chest he wouldn't get stuck from the water tension, would he? Surely not he was a dragon but... did water affect their wings like it did birds and other flying creatures? Becoming rather worried for her new winged friend she watched as he thankfully caught wind through a few hard beats of his webbed appendages they were then climbing up and into the air. Soon, the two of them were breaking through the clouds, Aya couldn't believe her eyes. Overly excited all over again, the elf began moving around a bit to get a better look past his moving wings and head. "This.. This is absolutely amazing, Rathian!" She said as she loosened her previous death grip on his scaly spines. Her voice was filled with giddy excitement more so then what she expressed earlier on the ground.

(Hesterian, Aya's Lion)
Back at the cabin, Hesterian watched Ria closely and the intruder even closer while his companion was away. Soon the man began to squirm in place, the lion knew those little movements people seemed to do when in need to relieve themselves. Growling lowly, the lion stood up and walked over to Ria before motioned for the elf to go and relieve his bladder. Sitting down beside the small child, Hesterian nuzzled her as his eyes trailed after the elf man.

Rathian
Hearing the elfs excited cries and pure joyment, made the beast of skies feel giddy like a child with a new toy. He extended his long wings and stretched out the fins on his tail, balancing him and letting the creature fly level. Without the harsh beat of wings, rathian slowly floated downwards until he flew just beneath white/pink fluffy clouds. Breaking only to show the beautiful skies above, below, the landscape. Beautiful emerald trees with murky rivers and crystal lakes. The harsh jut of mountains in the distance. He closed his eyes for a moment and let out a rumble, simalar to a cats purr. "Aya, I'm glad I was the one to welcome you to the sky." He said, his voice rough and piercing now that it was mixed well with a dragons voice.

Lucifer
He seemed to mull over this, his long tongue flicking out for a moment before he turned and seemed to count on a wall. 1 mark....2....3.... he snorted and looked back at the female. "Alright, Miss prude and mighty. Follow me." He grunted and began moving through the cave, his body making a soft squishing sound and the occasional clink of raw bone hitting one another. He mumbled lowly to himself, like he was repeating what the female had said word for word since he had met her. In truth, he was. Lucifer, for being a nasty stretch of defiled corpse, was an avid listener. He could hear things he was never meant to hear, and he repeated it. All of it. Everything he had ever heard stayed with him, locked into a metaphorical vault in his mind. He heard everything. Forgot nothing. This is why Dark Shadow relied on him, his memory and his power. For being right had of the king, Lucifer always seemed to play dead when in trouble. It usually worked. The beastly male lifted his head and made his way towards Dark Shadows den, the obvious first place to look for his king.

Mithyria couldn’t help but gasp at Dark’s response, her fins flitting upwards for a moment in surprise. Lack?! I cannot imagine a Goddess lacking anything! How dare you make such an assumption, sir! I work hard on my acts, I’ll have you know. Not anyone can be as exuberant as I am! You should count yourself lucky to have me here.” She giggled, not able to quite hold a serious composure but dramatizing as though she could be nonetheless. “But, I suppose I can give you credit for that monstrosity of a plan. Meat in your teeth can be such a-hahaha!” She full on laughed this time, just imagining the towering Alpha picking his teeth with a dried elf ear. She had to admit, she could share in his delight in the morbid concept, at least for this time. He seemed to find great amusement in it too. Mission accomplished. They proceeded to walk down the large hallway and into the space of his study, and her eyes widened with each step towards it. The large mound of gold and treasures she already saw was astounding. Not only that, but it perfectly fit the image of a commanding dark Alpha running an entire armada of dragons within the confines of the Sanctuary. Did he ever move around his treasures, or spend them, or did he let them sit and gather in the well-used abode? The question swarmed her head as she trotted up to it and gave it a few small sniffs. It didn’t smell used...but her smell was far worse on land than it was in the water, where she felt more connected. However, her tail wagged slightly in interest, and when Dark told her to make herself comfortable, a wide grin spread on her face. Oh, she’d find a place. Taking a clawed hand and digging out a spot, she shoved her face into the mound of gold before wriggling her way through, shimmering gold coins clinking against her scales and clattering on other coins or on the ground as she continued through. It wasn’t until she was completely buried when she poked her head out of one area, her tongue sticking out at Dark across the room before she grinned. “I think this is cozy enough! Thank you for your lovely accommodations, they are absolutely lovely.” She went quiet for a moment though, looking at where she was in the pile. “It might make it a little hard for you to show me things, but you can just plop yourself down over here. Or maybe I’ll squirm out in a bit. Who knows. I’m the Coral Goddess, I can do whatever I want! Within reasoning. Let me tell you though, this is a lot different than sitting in the ocean.”

Stumbled across the eggs? Cazram couldn’t help but question his wording. Perhaps Rajani would have skinned him if the man had said “the big red dragon”, but he felt it was more the truth than anything. The eggs were almost impossible to see behind his smoke. But he stayed silent, not wanting to hang himself over the issue. Rajani was here, and she’d keep her eggs protected. His head turned up to her as he kept the two small beings close, watching her...forgive the man. Forgive?! He just about had a panic attack right then and there. What kind of person was she to be forgiving?! She threatened to kill him about thirty times already, but this guy strolls in and tresspasses and he’s set aside. What made it even worse was him being the greater fool. Ugh, what a mess. Not that he was surprised of course. He was just thankful that she didn’t take her children from his grip so fast, and let him keep them for the time being. He was granted that dignity, at least. It helped his head stay lifted a bit. However, the man besides the raven dragoness began to chuckle at the mentioning of her ‘fools’, and if he had any courage, he would have snapped at him right then and there. On the other hand though, he was across Rajani’s width, too far of a distance to reach him, and he himself was no initiator of conflict. His eyes stayed off the man, at least until there was a thud on the dirt floor, and he found himself glancing over to see the man on his rear, like he belonged. He couldn’t help but snort a small puff of smoke from his nostrils, but didn’t speak a word as he looked between Rajani and the strange man he had encountered minutes beforehand. He didn’t quite know what he had gotten himself into. You really are cursed from breaking glass. Or was that mirrors.... He blamed the window anyways.

Mithyra blathered on about his previous assumption that she was lacking in imagination. Naturally, the dragoness was very vocal against the idea but she dropped the subject and started laughing at the notion of picking teeth with elf ears. Her words dissolved into laughter that carried on through the sanctuary walls. And when they happened upon his abode, she wasted no time plunging herself into his vast piles of treasure and gold. The coins rattled down the mounds, onto the stone floor. She squirmed comfortably in the pile like a snake in sand, submerging her body in his riches before poking her head out from under it and flashing her tongue at him with a pawky grin. While she did so, he shifted into his human form. “It might make it a little hard for you to show me things, but you can just plop yourself down over here. Or maybe I’ll squirm out in a bit. Who knows. I’m the Coral Goddess, I can do whatever I want! Within reasoning. Let me tell you though, this is a lot different than sitting in the ocean.” Dark Shadow gave her a smug look as he leaned into the throne chair, and enthroned himself on it with one leg crossed over the other knee and his elbows supported on armrests. The man's fingertips were pressed together as he looked at her. "That may be because you're lying in gold and not in water, but that's just a guess." He said sarcastically, gently arching one eyebrow at her. "At any rate, I believe we should get started before the evening begins. I am the alpha after all, there is much to be done in a dragon sanctuary." Chuckling deep in his throat he reached to his side and swept an old book into his hands, which he took from an open chest filled with ancient texts which was placed beside the chair. He examined the book for a moment and opened it to make sure it was the one he wanted to read out loud first. Ancient books never had a title and the elves never had any differentiating chapters. So it was difficult to know which book you were reading unless you have already gone through it. But yes, this was the book. Dark furrowed his brow as he gently turned a worn page. "Have you ever seen elven writing before?" He asked her, looking up from the passages for a moment. "It is called elvahnish to us and to humans. The language is...very complicated, and very difficult to learn considering elves are rather prideful about their race. They do not teach outsiders their language or their ways our of pride." He huffed somewhat at the idea before leaning forward with the book held out for Mithyra to see. To an unlearned eye, the text seemed like random scribbles in place of words starting, at the very top of the page to the very bottom without any indentations. Like cursive writing, elvhanish connected their letters and slanted them to the right. There were also faint decoration and symbols highlighted at the left-hand side of the page. In the light, they glistened with a golden hue. When she took a good look at the text, he pulled back and glanced at the writings once more. "What do you know about elves and the Derkonic A’Varae, Mithyra?" He inquired, figuring it was little to nothing considering elves rarely came up north, especially near water. She might have known some things about the Dragon Feud that happened in ancient times, the battle that took place between the humans and dragons, but some were never taught.

Quietly standing in place as the dragoness before him pondered over what to do, her aggressions eased with her next words. "I see, you are...forgiven." Akatosh gently dipped his chin down as a sign of gratitude. His clouded eyes remained on the female. She addressed the other two males and herself. She was Rajani Icecrea, the red dragon with her eggs was Cazram, and the one she was previously in a quarrel with was a man named Orpheus. He nodded once more as she finished and said she had appreciated his sentiment, and that Orpheus was no longer a threat. "He will not dare touch my brood if he knows what is best for him." The seriousness from her tone wafted into his ear, chilling him for a moment. From the way she had spoken these words, Akatosh instantly knew she was not one to trifle with or irritate. Clearly, she had experience in causing harm to others. Her harsh words was a warning to him as much as it was to the man Orpheus, she was capable of many terrible things. He didn't flinch or turn his head when Rajani knocked the man behind her down with a sweep of her tail. He could not see the action but it was easy to get the gist of what had just occurred. His eyes may have been blind, but he was not unintelligent. "I see that all is under control then, and I see no reason to linger here considering this is your business, Rajani Icecrea." He responded courteously, turning his head from one individual to another, sensing their general direction. "If you are not in need of anything, I will part ways with you, but I am glad to see others of the draconic kind still in hiding. It especially pleases me to see young ones in development as well, it has been a long time since I have seen young life. I trust you will care for them and in return care for our species, thank you. Blessings upon you and your family, Rajani." Akatosh addressed with his hand pressed to his chest, he bowed as a gesture of respect.

Even in the company of the strange elf, Ria was content doing her own thing. She hobbled back toward her lion companion as it gestured to the elf with the pillbug crawling on her arm. She looked at Hesterian with a smile before glancing back at the bug. Its legs tickled her as it shimmied across her skin. "Hesie, Hesie, look! She nodded to him as he said if she wasn't comfortable she didn't have to come along. Well, she figured it wouldn't hurt to get some fresh air. She didn't feel comfortable in the Sanctuary quite yet either, considering she was so new to the place. "No, it's okay. I wouldn't mind." She assured him delicately. Watching as he shifted into his dragon form, the light glistened off his seemingly diamond colored pelt. His ruby colored eyes found their way onto Ashley before he pushed off of the ground and flew up to escape the massive ravine known as the Sanctuary. She also shifted, being an average build with a dusty grey colored pelt, grey eyes, and soft fur lining down her spine. Her head was directed up toward Jace. He was already some ways above her. Ash's unremarkable eyes almost seemed to gleam in some excitement when she gently opened her wings and pranced up off the ground to get herself into the air. Pushing the wind beneath the skin of her wings, the smoky grey dragoness ascended up toward Jace. She softly came to his side, observing the trees and the vegetation outside of the chasm."Do you travel often?" She murmured.

[center]With a scowl on his face, Erin Gage started after Sapphire the moment she stormed off. He walked in the direction she had left with and angry expression before pausing. As he stopped, he glanced around for Sapphire but she was nowhere to be seen. Erin then turned his head in the other direction and began to amble back toward her house. An angry breath left him in the form of a scoff. "She'll come back eventually. Women always do." The man muttered under his breath, annoyed that she took this whole ordeal so personally but not annoyed enough to care. He went after her at first but she was too far ahead now and he knew she would be back sometime. When he came upon the door, he took the handle and went inside, then shut it loudly behind him.

Kolvar hadn’t even noticed Riya had already swept herself away to the horse stables to gather her horse and Brannon. He was so locked onto the little cries and screams of longing. He had a strange feeling but worriedly tried to sweep it into the back of his brain. He faintly heard the clopping of horse hooves within his phases hearing and without a second look around, Kolvar kept onto Brannon lightly kicked his sides to get Brannon sprinting as fast as he can. The wind blew his long brown hair behind him whipping all around due to the force of the air. He used his elven ears to help locate his way. ”Riya, you may need to follow a little behind just in case! I don’t want you getting hurt!”, Kolvar yelled behind him with a slight turn of his head just to get the message behind her.  He knew there could have potentially been guardsmen waiting to ambush him. With a furrowed upon his face, Kolvar could hear the cries getting closer and louder as he closed in and just as he expected he heard a couple of guardsmen rustling around too. Letting go of the reigns, he picked his body up and crouched onto Brannons back and timing it well he leaped into a thick tree branch grasping on for dear life. He quickly pulled himself up and turned his head to the left to find Brannon running over 4 guardsmen as he charged away into the bushes disappearing from sight. Kolvar silently took his bow from around his chest and gathered a couple of arrows as the guardsmen picked themselves up off of the ground. He had his bow and arrow ready to go and he was clear minded until he had seen them harshly jerking around Varos. Varos winced and cried in pain as a guardsman dangled him my his arm basically swinging him around like a rag doll. Anger boiled inside of him as he raised his bow and pulled back the arrow. He inhaled in and as soon as he released his arrow, he exhaled out. His first target was the guardsman violently swinging Varos. The arrow went through his chest completely and the guardsman reacted slowly but eventually toppled over and stopped moving. Varos luckily got out of his grip and hung close to the base of a tree shivering and wide eyed. Kolvar quickly finished off the rest out of anger and when he made sure the coast was clear, he gracefully jumped from the branches and onto the forest floor. He looked over to Varos and telepathically asked him if he was okay. Varos silently nodded his head with eyes full of relief and shock. Kolvar checked to make sure all of the guardsmen were dead before standing up and turning to face Varos. He walked over in a slow pace in order not to spook the child and gently knelt down in front of him. Varos looked him in the eyes and Kolvar watched as the tears started to slowly fall from his face but quickly picked up speed when he realized he was going to be safe. What Varos did next really threw him for a loop, Varos leaped into his arms and held on around his neck crying. Kolvar wasn’t going to pry him for answers right now but he got the feeling he couldn’t return the child to his mother. He had the strangest feeling that his mother was no more. Kolvar gently picked the kid up as he began to stand up. He turned to face Riya with the child tightly grasping onto his clothes and Kolvar knew he couldn’t avoid it anymore. “Riya, this is Varos. Today i learned that he is my son, I didn’t know about him until today. I get the feeling his mother is with us no more.” Kolvar eyed her waiting for her response. He couldn't even put his own emotions into words as he looked a little ways down to see Varos with his runny nose gently rubbing his face into his shirt smearing snot all over it. Getting squeamish, Kolvar looked back to Riya with his face twisted a bit in disgust. He definitely wasn't used to children but he needed to find a mother for Varos, he meant it when he said that he was in no position to raise a child. The child silently cried out for his mama but he knew she was gone.

Alanis looked down at the ground smiling to herself at the kindness that Alanis was showing her. This could be her fresh start she needed for her to get her feet down on the ground without working at the brothel. She had to find another job that wasn't as scandalous for her to gain some money. "I really can't thank you enough for your kindness, really. I really appreciate you. Is there anything I can do to help repay you in anyway, within good reason of course." Ryn followed close behind Alanis awaiting for her answer. Ryn could pretty much cook anything as well as being a well seasoned cleaner of houses. Maybe that's something she could do for a living, clean houses? All the possibilities crossed her mind as they all raced around inside of her head causing her to get quite overwhelmed by the idea of a better future. This is what she wanted after all that had happened to her in her past.

Morsa kept her composure as she fae was good looking but not the best within the cavern that she has seen. She gave a dry introduction which gave Morsa the idea that she has an extremely dry personality. Morsa coughed a bit before getting on the other side of Drake saying "That cave is a good contender but I would like to see more. It was spacious but the entrance was oddly shaped and smelled of 5 day old rabbit." Morsa smiled at Drake following along side him with Jaliyah on the other side. There was no romantic competition due to Morsa looking elsewhere for a potential mate. She hoped the other dragon showing too much affection would realize that. Silence had fell over the trio for a moment as Morsa basically was silently begging someone to speak.

In this part of the forest, everything was dead. No creatures roamed the land and there was no brush or greenery no matter which direction someone looked. In the near distance, anyone with fantastic hearing could hear the crunching of dead leaves and twigs below someones shoes being crushed to oblivion. It was rare to see someone in this part of the forest as it is mainly avoided by all due to rumor of it being secretly cursed. A little girl makes her way through the forest singing the tunes of her Coven's choir. She shows no signs of being the least bit worried from running into thugs or someone who could harm her. Olivia was her name, she had no fears because she knew that she had the power of her coven with her as well as her mother's strong spirit. She continued to sing her songs as the forest around her began to fill with more life, that's how she knew she was heading to the right direction. She was on a mission to find a strong witch who could help her draw out the dangerous task that she was looking to accomplish. She and her coven knew that it would most likely end in her death but she had already came to conclusions about that. She knew what she was asking for was dangerous, but she knew what she wanted. She giggled at the thought of it all and set her fire red eyes forward as she began to merrily skip to where she last found the road. "I know the road... is... somewhere this way." She silently spoke to herself stopping for a moment to look around and then continued on her way with a skip and a jump as she remembered the right direction. She had finally come upon the dirt road next to some shabby shack that looked sad and pathetic but also seemed to be abandoned. She raced down the dirt road giggling thinking she could make that her home for now until she could find a better household to be invited into. She continued to sing her coven's music with a soft voice. Some time had passed and she was really out of breath for running at full speed for about three quarters of an hour? She couldn't remember. Her black cloak was beginning to become too hot but she knew she couldn't take it off. She sighed but her face quickly lightened up as she came to the end of the forest to see the city bustling with life. "This is it. Now to find them." Olivia spoke to herself as she giggled and continued to make her way into town.

Light_Fog Dragon_She might actually be 30 about now, if I think about it_Tags; None_Kinda bummed out

After a good while, she sat down underneath a tree. The leaves beneath her cracked in annoyance and dismay of her sitting on them, but she looked at the small amount of herbs and such she had laid upon her dark green dress. It wasn't the happiest sight to see, especially when she made this excuse to ditch the girls. It wasn't that she didn't like doing all of the "guy-watching" thing, it just felt more like a waste of time. She still had a hundred or two years left before she could decide on all of that. Her pale blue eyes looked at the trees above her, watching them wave, shaking off a leaf or two often.

If she wasn't so stubborn she would've left right away. Or take the same trail back home to at least find out where she was. Instead, she rolled down her sleeves and marched onward into the forest. The sun sets at East so she headed where she figured south was. It was still too bright for the northern star to come out but it would show up eventually. After a while, she felt like she was the one who lost the argument because she was lost and the temperature was slowly dropping around her. I really don't want to camp out here this time of year, she looked down at her brown leather boots. "Ugh, why did I pick pink," she shook her head at the memory of the summer year(s?) ago, her cheeks turning a bit heated.

After a while, she gave up on looking for a notable trail of any kind of dragon and headed back towards the village. "If there are so many dragons here, where the hell are they," she muttered to herself, rubbing the back of her neck. It was really no use, but she shifted into her dragon form and climbed onto one of the trees, at the top, looking around at the sky. Too bad the clouds were thick and puffy.

He wasn't sure who all lived here, at this... Well, pretty impressive place, but he was sure he wouldn't be coming back for a good while. He shifted into his dragon form and took off without looking back. His wings beat harshly as he pushed himself into the clouds, figuring it would be best to just go to the village and take another look around; if Nash hadn't found anything yet.

Throwing on a grey sweater, that itched, she jogged to the barn and opened it up. "Long time no see," she joked to the families donkey, who not too long ago was recently ridden by her. Throwing on a saddle quick and a harness, she was off once more. In the back of her mind, she didn't think to bring a lantern because dusk was slowly falling upon her, but maybe she would be quick enough. Her cheeks were filled with a honey glow, riding at a slight fast pace to the girl she met once before. What would she say? What excuse did she have to bring her croissants to her? What, they had extras? If her brother were home, there wouldn't be ANY extras. But it was probably the best excuse she had because; "Oh." Time moved faster than what she expected because only burnt wood with receding smoke following it was left. "Is this... the right place...?" she swallowed, looking at the pile then looking around once again.

It was easy to give people liquor, but it was better when they can say; "Oh, this is nice and cool". He would always have some sort of smile on his face whenever a customer would say that. But even him would have to panic and make an excuse when a customer would press forth, but usually around this time of year, it isn't questionable. "Where is... the next shift," he leaned against the bar table, looking at the door.

He waited until the lion was a safe distance away before excusing himself a few steps into the trees. He left his sack there, for insurance, that he might return, but while he was relieving himself, he couldn't help but to think; was the jar really worth it? He wouldn't have a single taste of any fruit, except for wine, for the next 6 months or so. It seemed almost crazy that winter is an actual thing when you eat mainly fruit. He sighed, zipping up his trousers, beginning to walk over to the grassy spot. His body imprint was still there, in the grass, and he returned to it, putting the bag in his lap.
