Dim light of the morning sun filled the small, basic cottage through the straw roof bringing it to life once again. Kolvar, laying on a makeshift bed of straw and dead grass covered with a rather large cloth draped over it to keep the straw and dead grass from poking him throughout the night, tossed a bit groaning as the sunlight hit his eyelids turning his vision from a black to a light pink. He slowly sat up yawning as he was still wore out from the night before. He scratched his bare chest and slowly blinked his eyes a few times trying to focus his vision. He stood up taking a step and stumbling a bit still feeling the effects from the night before. "I'm never doing that again...", he said to himself groggily and yawned once more reaching for his clothes and sliding them on. He collected his satchel and his bow throwing both of them over his shoulder and adjusted them to where they sat comfortably on his chest. He looked around his small but comfortable place double checking to make sure he had everything he needed and then headed out of the cottage. He moved the cloth acting as a door to the side and released it so that it could fall back into place once he was passed it. His small cottage was made of mainly mud bricks and a straw roof that was tightly packed to prevent most rain from leaking through the roof. It had one small opening large enough for light to shine through the cottage but not big enough to where an intruder would get through. His cottage is so deep within the forest that most of his visitors are predators sniffing around for a snack. He walked over to Brennan and patted his side, and then rubbed from his forehead down to his muzzle a couple of times. He grinned real big as the horse nudged for some more love and he gave in "Alright, Alright here's some more" He finished giving Brennan and looked around for Luka his sly friend. Not seeing him anywhere, he shrugged his shoulders and made his way into the forest bound for the river. He wanted to take a dip in the river and wash away any recollections from last night. He walked for awhile before finally making it to the river. Standing on a ledge that overlooked the river, he noticed that a woman had already been bathing in the usual spot he liked to wash off in. He quickly looked away saying to himself "Well I wasn't supposed to see that. I'll just go upstream a ways and give her some privacy." Without looking back at the woman, he walked up the riverside until he felt there was enough distance between him and the girl. The river in this section was pretty and there were no major risks that he could see. He found his way from the ledge down to level ground and looked around the surrounding areas to make sure it was safe to take a dip. He came back to the river shore and took his bow and satchel off from around his shoulder and then next came his clothes. He placed them in the same area making sure to keep them close and he turned back to the river ,with soap in hand, and walked in enjoying the cool water and the cool crisp air. He dunked under the water making sure to get everything wet and he began to wash himself off with birds chirping and the leaves rustling due to the wind blowing them back and forth.

Lathering her body until her scent was completely removed, Rajani dunked herself underneath the water’s surface. As she did this, the lakes surface water was covered in white bubbles. Staying under the water for a moment, Rajani looked around the water was crystal clear. Fish could be seen swimming about, as her feet touched the soft spongy lake bottom the raven haired women stood up Rajani’s head broke the surface of the water, a soft gasp left her mouth. Her long black Raven hair was now past her butt from the water straightening it out, the lake's water ran off her pale skin. Leaving the lake, Raj grabbed the cloth from her bag to dry off. Once dry she quickly dressed, she had work to get done. There were many enquiries in the east as well as the west of the area, 'I have to get all these done before the end of the month or the deals are off...' she sighed as she got her pants and top on, the assassin suddenly felt nauseated. Soon dizziness came over her causing her to drop into a crouched position. Her right hand was over her mouth as she tried to keep from losing what little she had eaten that morning. Another unpleasant feeling hit her stomach, causing her to gag. Getting away from her leather armor, which still laid on the ground, along with her boots and bag, the female, rushed to some bushes as she hurled, the small meal she had eated no longer remain in her stomach. Rajani coughed and shivered, “What a waste...” the female grumbled, she felt fine now, she was still slightly dizzy. Her left hand came to her forehead as she wondered if she had overworked herself the previous night. Sitting down near the water’s edge the women began cleaning the blood off her leather underbust corset. As she did this, the women also began digging for her perfume, a perfume that was scentless. Spritzing it over herself as well as her clothing as she finished cleaning the crusty blood from her attire. This was a special perfume, it hid her royal demeanor, something that was very important to her to keep hidden.

Walking around in the sanctuary, Jace had been gathering up what little of Rajani’s stuff that was still in the sanctuary. She had asked for all the scrolls that he’d kept within his den. He was even collecting information from dragons within the sanctuary to give to Raj. ‘Honestly, she’s going to overwork herself… Ever since the festival she’s been so driven to work…’ he thought sourly to himself. As the man thought to himself, he could hear Trinity bellowing in the background for Ember. Honestly, that woman followed Ember around like a lovesick mutt. Walking to his den, Jace began placing all the scrolls and papers into a satchel to take to Raj.

Sitting outside the cave in which she and her adopted daughter lived, Aya smiled as she watched Hesterian goof around with the small child. He was so gentle with her. The young female elf crossed her arms over her chest as she leaned forward from where she sat on a bolder giggling at the two. In the elf’s hands was some fabric that had many different embroidered designs on it, the patterns, which had been sewed into the material, told the story of the dragons, as well as other fantasy things children enjoy hearing. It had been five years since she’d found Ria, her home had been destroyed and her family slaughtered. She hadn’t told the child yet that she wasn’t exactly her birth mother, she felt it would be better to tell her when she was a bit older. Turning her attention partly back to her sewing she kept an eye on Ria and Hesterian, she knew her lion wouldn’t hurt her, but having motherly instincts she couldn’t help but to keep a lookout for danger. Pulling a bright golden thread through the cloth which was held in place by a wooden frame made from young pliable tree limbs, the elven mother hummed a tune that she’d heard from her first adventure with a dragon. His name still fresh in her mind, Krogoth, she wondered how he was doing. Catching the scent of their lunch, Aya quickly jumped up from her seat on the bolder and place her work of art down before quickly rushing off to the kettle which hung over an open fire, which was surrounded by large rocks, so no hot coals, could escape and become a danger to Ria. Grabbing her wooden spoon from it’s resting spot along the kettle's rim, she began stirring the porridge which smelt of apples.

Upon checking with the scouts of the land, finding that no human nor elf was near enough to be a threat - the Alpha felt reassured. Not that there ever was elves or humans that ventured this far North. None whom breathed anymore that is. The Alpha dipped his head and went on his way. Shifting into a dragon, he departed from the Sanctuary, heading to the North by a mile or two. He regulated his physical shape here to keep himself in best condition. It was a thing he preferred doing alone as well, under the careful shadow of the trees.
Dark Shadow returned some time later with numbness in his limbs, sweat on his brow, with two large prey animals dead in his talons. They were placed in the dining location of the Sanctuary, along with other kills, for those who would rather not hunt. Food was never an issue with this many dragons. Whenever he ventured in the mornings to hunt and train, the Alpha would place his kills here for others. Nevertheless, dragons were also assigned as hunters to bring back food - but he enjoyed the interactions. Dark Shadow's massive black wings felt the fanning of the air trapped under them as he slipped to the sandstone floor. Dust recoiled from the ground. Particles of debris sparkled in the rising sun. His claws met the ground. His electric blue eyes flicked from dragon to dragon as they each told him a good morning, and he dipped his head respectfully with an assured smile. He appeared as a royal, his pelt shimmering black under the drops of sunlight, his head held was high but without pride. When others smiled at him, he was sure to give them one in response. And the gentleness of his eyes grew when they did.

She continued to moan and grumble, impatient for these guys to get off their sorry butts already! And when Ember had -finally- she gave a small smirk of her own. "Um-okay but I'm like," she looked up, fluttering her darker eyelids. "Like I'm so sick of waiting outside of this slumber party between you and Light; I need to join you guys. I feel SO left out. Like hoes before bros, Em." Trinity's dragon shape shifted down to a girl after her complaint, the same height as Ember with straight blonde hair with a spice colored ombre. Her pink, plush lips curled in a grin. She popped her hip out and placed her hand on it. "There, I shifted. Hurray for me." A giggle left her mouth and she could see Light moving around inside the den as well. Good! 'Bout time that girl wakes up before lunch.' At least, that's what Trinity had heard from Ember. Personally, she was an early bird herself and liked to keep busy with something - or - someone. "Ohmygosh, Em, there are like so many cute guys around here, what are you doing? Come on already! We need some fun and like-attractive men to gawk at." The girl took the red-haired girl's hand and playfully stuck out her tongue, she then inched on her toes and leaned to the side to look inside Light's den. "Oldie-locks, c'mon, me and Ember need you too! Screw tea, get off your lazy butt and get going with uuuuss!"

She was such a quiet little thing, but, that's what he liked about her. Not that he didn't like anything about anyone. He was honestly very open-minded about that. But the man met her thanks with an exuberant smirk. "Yo, don't even worry about it. I'm having a great time. Just do you." Drake remained his outgoing self, gently wobbling her to put some of that confidence in her system. "Hey, I can help you out whenever you want - could be three in the morning I'd come to your rescue, don't even worry." He chuckled and smoothly removed his arm from off her shoulder, allowing his hands to slip into his pockets as he talked. "So what do you do for fun? See. I think that's the first step at calling this place home, doing what you like. For example, when I joined," he gestured to himself with a grand smile. "I had to talk to people, find some to trust and I was felt A-Okay in this place. You just gotta make this place for you too." After the little pep-talk and wink shortly after, he could see Ash's den just in the distance. He warmly smiled to it. Drake looked back at her and nodded his head. "I don't worry about you at all here, trust me."

His feet were kicked out in front of him, sitting outside of the local pub with his head lifted and a heavy breath going out of his lungs. Eyes closed, Krogoth relaxed out on the cobblestone floor after sobering in these past hours. He could still smell some ale on him but the drunkenness was gone. All that was left was the numbness. But, the numbness was relaxing. Despite the people who on occasion snapped at him, "get a job." or "beat it, drunk!" He only opened a single eye at them, crinkling it against the blinding sunlight before shutting his eyes again and ignoring them. He'd hum a bit, attempting to drown everything away. The tune was familiar to him. It was the shanty him and his militia used to sing when they drank, even if, he was the only one who knew the words to it now. Krogoth could sense when people passed him, feeling the coldness of their shadows slip over him. He inhaled, quietly. He could pick up the scent of new bread baking this morning.

Tiny Ria squealed in delight as the white lion danced over her, the long fur of his mane was so familiar and sweet. She tried to grab him but he'd leap over her and spin around like a puppy excited for play. Her giggles smothered the lion in glee. "Heseran!" She'd call him, slowly running at him with her fingers excitedly reaching. The white feline had kept her busy and off of the thought of food, which happened to be a great idea. She adored animals, especially Hesterian. The large lion had allowed her to finally catch up on his tail, and Ria wasted no time grabbing it with both her hands. Her crystalline blue eyes went immedineatly wide. She squealed and laughed, jumping up and down, pulling it in as she powerfully embraced his tail. The furry end was rough on her cheek, and tickled her. But she loved it anyway. "Got you! Got you!" Still hugging the end of Hesterian's tail, she hobbled up to him burying her face in his mane. The tail was dropped as she wrapped her toddler arms around as much of the animal as she could, bubbling like the small child she was. "Mama, mama, I got Heseran!" She announced to Aya, proud.

Many of the knights came to Seth with problems about his new rules - "Too bad! Too silly!" He mocked, his hand moving like a mouth to impersonate the haters. "What is wrong with you, Seth?! Can't you even-!" The screeching was immedineatly stopped. Bloody-Bones grabbed his own wrist, throttling it with his other hand as if he were choking it. His hand flailed, gave one final breath, then turned to the side and stopped moving. It twitched. The golden armored king lifted up his head and announced. "Let that be a lesson, you stupid squeakers! Hear me well. Hear King Seth, the magnificent!" He looked directly at the guards stationed on either side of his throne room door, pointing to them with an over exaggerated gesture. They looked unsure of how to approach it. "I'll kill your hand too! But oh-I will do far worse too, I'll eat all your little toes, you pansies! And your cookies too." But he felt that made him great enough, so he changed the subject. He lowered his voice to an unsettling gravel. "Before that though, I need so delicious goodies. The royal mouth must be fed with nice yummy candies, so if you will - SHOO." He lifted from the throne, tossed the crown on his helmet to the floor. "And I want to go on a walk." He frowned a tad. "I need to walk. Or drive - ride...we haven't hit that point in history yet. So! Ride I will. Where's my donkey?"
"You have a horse, sire."
"Ew, really? Awh -fine..."

Kolvar ducked under the surface of the water and sat there enjoying how the water surrounded his body engulfing him to its entirety. The water cool sent chills over his entire body causing a smile to fall across his face. He broke the surface of the water coming back up to breathe as well as to begin to scrub himself off. He soaped himself up scrubbing over every inch of his body, including his feet, and then moved onto scrubbing his face. Once he was finished lathering himself up, he dipped down in the water to wash away the suds and swam a little away from the suds that floated atop of the water surface. Coming back up, he broke free of the waters grasps and made his way out of the water. Taking both of his hands, he lifted them to his face and wiped the remaining water off of his face that had been a concoction of water build up from dunking in the water and the water falling from his hair. He made it to shore, and immediately slipped his pants on looking around at the beautiful autumn scenery. The trees around this area of the river were decorated with multiple colored leaves. The green, orange, yellow, and red leaves danced around the tree as the chilly breeze blew them about their positions."I always get so lucky when I find such beautiful works of art that Mother Nature have prepared for us to admire.", Kolvar spoke to himself as he finished slipping on his shirt and fastening his satchel and bow to fit comfortably around his chest. He knew that he had to go into town today to accommodate with an employer that refused to give him his payment after completing a job for the employer. He sighed looking around at the beautiful scenery before turning and heading towards the village to finish his unsettled business.

The morning sun shown through the tiny windows of the rundown shack on the wrong side of town illuminating what homey feeling could be felt within the cottage. Flowers can be seen placed in various spots trying to give the drabby shack a nicer look than what it had previously looked like. The tiny shack had enough room for one bed, a furnace to cook and burn fire wood in for the winter, and two windows for natural lighting to help light the shack up during the day. There were simple makeshift candle holders mounted to the wall so that candles could be lit during the dark hours of the night. The bed was made from small wood planks that were covered in straw to cushion the planks and pillows made from sheeps wool were stuffed into a cloth covering to help hold the wool all in place while one slept on them. The shack was small, tight, and uncomfortable, but that was the only place that Ryn could afford on the salary she makes working as a bar-maid at the local brothel. Most of her earnings that she makes from the pub go towards her rent and feeding her horse Cybil. Ryn laid spread across her bed lost in thought as time slowly passed by. She took her right hand and started to rub her stomach moving her hand in a back and forth motion. She does this completely out of instinct even though its been over three years since the incident. She closed her eyes as sadness waved over her thinking about how her little bundle of joy could be somewhere in the heavens dancing around no longer in pain. Tears formed and escaped from her eyes as overwhelming thoughts from her past flooded inside of her head."No.. you can't do this to yourself again. It's okay now.", she spoke to herself as she took long deep breaths trying to calm down. Ryn removed her hand from her stomach to avoid giving herself more memories and she gently rolled over onto her left side propping her head against her arm. She opened her eyes and stared at a fixed point on the ground thinking about how she had to go to work later tonight and the thought of it almost made her shudder. She didn't like working at the local pub as it came with its disadvantages. Whilst lost upon in her thoughts, a loud knock appeared at her door. She pulled herself out of bed quickly and scrambled around to find her knife to hide behind the door with her other hand. She gently twisted the doorknob and slightly cracked the door open barking "Who's there and what do you want." "It's your landlord and I want my rent payment now." After hearing that sentence, Ryn quickly opened the door and smiled real sweetly "Mr. Diddly. I've spoken to you about my situation a week ago. My pay was cut short last week and I told you I am getting paid tonight and that I would pay you first thing tomorrow morning seeing as how I get off of work at late hours." "No. If I don't have my money by tonight, you're out of the shack by tomorrow morning." She watched as he stormed off away from the shack and she shut the door rather quickly to avoid the stairs of embarrassment. She walked away from the door placing the knife down somewhere and sat on the bed groaning. She rested her elbows on her knees and forced her hands through her hair sitting there trying to figure out how she was going to pay rent before the night ended. She sighed and then said to herself "When are things going to finally go right for me just for one time."

Rathian helped his mother sit down by the river, it had been a day since they left the village.
He had not the slightest idea where they were or even where they were going. He drank a bit of water before scooping some into a canteen, bringing it to his beloved mother. "Here,
drink." He told her. Daenerys brushed her brown hair out of her face and took a long drink.
"We must find shelter soon." She said and sighed, looking at the water. Rathian nodded in agreement. "We will find something." He promised his mother as he kept a look out. Any signs of life would put him on edge. He simply stood beside his mother, a battle axe strapped up on his back. Daenerys stood and nodded. "Lets continue then shall we?" She said with a smile,
walking beside her son as they traveled beside the river.

Finally reaching his full body into the main bubble of the Sanctuary, the dragon stretched out his wings, feeling them blow a rattle of wind around the arena before he settled them back at his sides and proceeded to shift into his slightly more comfortable human form. His leather and fur hide outfit was adorned with small trinkets he had gathered, whether it be feathers from long distant birds, a coin dropped from a traveling merchant, or even a bead that had fallen from a crow's beak. They represented particular memories for Cazram, reminders of important things to remember in day to day life. But for now, he simply let them sway with the sauntering of his feet as he folded his hands behind his back, gracefully making his rounds around the interior to see if there was any passing gossip, maybe news that he had missed in his slumber. The dining hall seemed to be rumbling with talk, and he pondered on heading in, but first he would see what the chatter was before grabbing himself a small bite to eat and setting off into the world beyond the cave.

Her breath caught wind of fresh bread that baked in the stores ahead, and drifted into her home of a mind, creating an image of peace that kept her focused on the past she was so delved into. Yet, that image seemed to break at the sudden shout of a passerby, and her home vanished before her, leaving reality as an open door to her gazes. Halting in her path, startled, she turned her head to see a customer berating a man slumped by the bar front. She supposed she should have expected such, but as the other man left, she wondered if she should interrupt his path and make him apologize. Yet, she couldn't keep him from doing it in the future even if she did; it would be a lost cause. But perhaps she could at least make a stand for the other person involved. Avoiding a couple that were walking in the opposite direction, she swiftly paraded in front of them and across the street, standing a few feet from the man sitting against the brick. Her hands held firmly across her satchel she held before her chest, and she gazed down at the man. "You should really head home, you know," she said calmly, though kept her voice above the casual murmur of the town goings. "Avoid the attention."

Aadi Brace
Chin resting upon one of the large claws, his bright, blue eyes were open open, eagerly surveying the surroundings of their own den. They've just recently joined the sanctuary a few weeks ago, and he still couldn't believe they got their own room. Shuffling his side of the body, Aadi slithering a look towards Levi's direction. Of course, Aadi wanted to be more in the center of the sanctuary and really would have enjoyed being in a more concentrated area filled with dragons. And of course Levi was the one who ruined the fun and chose the den farther away from the action. Slowly, he used one of the claws from their dragon form to carefully poke  Levi's muzzle, Aadi raising his own, eager to see his reaction. A sudden shift of movement in Levi. Averting his beaming glare away from his brother, Levi pretended to not have noticed the cause of such thing.

Aadi Brace
Rays of sunlight were trickling in through any opening in the cave, his muzzle scrunched up. Trying to stay asleep, Levi focused on actually keeping his mind in the realm of dreams. Honestly, he didn't even know what he was dreaming himself; it just felt nice to be asleep. Not having to worry about his brother saying some weird ass thing to strangers or receiving those judgmental glares was wonderful. Giving out a gentle sigh, the faint smile on his face was soon wiped off at the sudden touch. Frowning as his eyes scrunched deeper to be shut, he pulled his head away, not wanting to put up with whatever Aadi had to say. "Five more minutes, please..." A moment of silence. "Oh please, I gave you 2 hours." Hesitantly, he finally gave out a defeated grumble, Levi raising his head as he groggily opened his eyes. Adjusted to the sunlight, he squinted his eyes, teeth lightly baring. "I swear you always do this. What do you even need me awake for?" "Can we please go out and get something to eat?" Staring at his twin for a minute or so, Levi gave a slow nod, starting to understand the hunger Aadi was facing. Still in their dragon form,
the two rose up, padding out of the den. Carefully, they transformed into their human form, Levi reaching out with his hand for balance against the wall. Regaining their balance, the two made their way down the path, Levi specifically making sure they kept in the shadows and away from prying eyes.

Sauci Faui
Focused on the sheet of paper in front of him, Sauci was continuously writing on it non stop, the ink brushing elegantly over the surface. Years ago, ever since he had learned how to properly write from his mother, he had been writing his own adventures and tales constantly in his free time between his own journies outside sanctuary. Wrapping up a hefty paragraph, he knocked his head back, Sauci pulling his hand away carefully to stretch his wrist. Careful not to knock the bottle of ink over, he rested the pen in before studying his work. It was always pleasant to just sit and write in the forest, just a short walk away from the sanctuary's protection. Shifting his weight in place, Sauci's folded legs adjusted the body's weight. It was lovely. He never really knew there was something like this to express a handful what was going on in his brain. Quite honestly, he was getting tired of having to flail his arms to just send the message. Studying his work, Sauci gave himself a satisfied pat on the bag.

Emmett "Eel" Lorence
All of this sucks. All of it. A long groan stretched out from his throat, Eel rubbing his face with his fingers. It could've been a lovely day for once where he just went down the usual route to the market place and bought some fruits to eat, but no. No, no, no! Of course on the one day he aimed to make it a decent one, goats - yes, a herd of them -
just had to block the whole street because a Shepard couldn't do his job. It only got better with the fact that it smelled. Like, really bad. Doing his best to not inhale the stench, Eel squeezed by the balls of wool with legs, the poor guy holding onto his this bush of hair in his hands to avoid it from getting dirty in such circumstance. Thankfully, it didn't take as long as he thought it would to finally free himself from that first circle of hell.

Hearing Ria’s enthusiastic squeals she knew she was fine while she tended to their lunch which was boiling nicely in the kettle. Stiring it a few more times before walking back outside and reclaiming her spot on the large rock, Aya watched as her little girl played with the albino dire lion. Hesterian continued to jump and tease the small child until she captured his long feline tail. The great lion flicked his tail a bit trying to get the giggling girl to let go but she was still clearly rolling in her victory. Aya giggled and clapped her hands, “Well done Ria!” She cheered for her little girl and watched Hesterian’s expression of defeat. “You can’t always get away with your teasing Hesterian.” She told him with a chuckle, Ria had grown quite a bit and was no longer that small infant wrapped in a blanket. “Time really flies.” She sighed softly as she watched the two of them. Hesterian flopped down on his side and looked back at Ria, he was attempting to play dead to reclaim his victory.

The rather large male walked forward and helped his mother through dense underbrush.
They came upon a small cabin and sighed. "We can rest here for a while. At least until I can find something better." He said and looked at the cabin. It was tidy, kept up to date. Candles burned in the windows, yet the door was open. Rathian went inside and found nothing.
He went upstairs to the bedrooms and found a body, he assumed she had passed in her sleep. He picked the carcass up and took her outside, walking farther away from the cabin to dump the body before walking back. Daenerys had already sat down at the table. "If you could hunt some meat, Ill pick through that garden and we will have a decent supper."
She told her son. Rathian nodded. "Alright mother. I wont be long." He promised the woman before turning and leaving her. She walked outside and knelt down, picking through the vegetables. She felt vulnerable without her son, she was so used to his protection and his comfort, she kept glancing over her shoulder.

Chloe Freshwater

"That does it, I'm bored," she calls out to the open air, startling her father at first. She tossed the book on the sofa and began to squeeze on her leather boots that were caked with dirt. "I'll be back-" And her father was just about to say something but she quickly closed the door. She rushed to the stable and opened it wide. "Please... Don't tell me Daniel took..." A breathe left her body: Her brother took the best horse. "Why? He's just taking it to work," she mutters, going to the next best thing: The mule. "Come on, Holly," she mutters, grabbing some reins off the wall. After a few minutes of tying a saddle and managing to not get bitten by the animal when she tried to put the reins in, she swings on the animal. "And we are off," she fixed the bangs in front of her hair and left the barn as is. There was small word about travelers looking for someone. I'll just avoid town... Just in case... She rides along the country side, bouncing along, eyeing the small houses that people either built or are renting. Just depends on the owner is the real trick. "Speak of the devil..." For a moment, she was scared to her toes, but kept at her pace, slowing down to the man. "Why isn't it Mr... Diddly.” And she received an easy sharp glare back, already frustrated with the day. "I told you, young girl, to stop saying my family name like that." Chloe leaned in, a wolfish grin, "What's wrong, Diddly, someone clogged the fireplace with sheets again? Or did someone tip you over in the latrines the night before..." The man then paused and stared at her hard. "How do you know about that?" The girl paused and jumped a bit, lightly kicking the side of her mule. "Hm? About what?" She strode onto the property, as the man yelled behind her, but continued to walk off. Chloe merrily laughed, going to the back of the small... Shack. "Who couldn't afford this..." she whispered, eyeing the whole place.

Norman Freshwater

A spark of annoyance landed on him, watching his youngest daughter rush off. "Don't bother your brother!" He yelled, but was sure the thick door was enough to bounce off his voice. "Or anyone, for that matter..." he muttered to himself, watching the girl swing open the barn door a moment, then rush off just as quick. The moment she left, he slowly raised from his seat, walking over to the living room, his cane holding up his left side. Rushes of memories hit him if he ever entered the room, and everyday, he has to pass them. He swallowed hard, not allowing any tears this time, and walked through. He went into the hall and turned into the last bedroom on the right.

Daniel Freshwater

He paused, eyeing the travelers, then filled up a frosted covered glass with water. He went from around the bar and walked to the front of the bar, eyeing from the left, then right; then saw him. His steps wandered over, eyeing the man. "Beautiful morning, hm?" He smiled lightly at the suns gaze that almost stung. "Here," he bent over, setting the glass of water next to his hand. He then walked back inside, after double checking if there was anyone else, and eyed the bar. Right where I left it... he thought to himself, eyeing everyone. He went around to the bar once more, and eyed the three once again. They spoke softly, but then the elf to he group disperse from the two. He walked out quietly, but Daniel couldn't help but to admire the tattoos and ruggedness of him. But then quietly filled up the glasses once more.

Nash Thornbuck

"I'm going to keep an eye out," he told him, with a straight face, before leaving the bar. He eyed the man against the building, on the ground, and began to walk off. Fucking christ that was boring... And the tension in that room... He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to wipe off the feeling. He wondered into the market place, bored, counting all the elves that he saw. Or maybe eyeing someone, seeing if they were a dragon. Ever since he found out... It drove him crazy. Any of these people could be a dragon. That child, woman-- Who knows, maybe even that mutt over there. A voice rang in his ears, a shop keeper, trying to "catch his attention." His face cringed at the woman's voice; "ARROWS FROM THE SOUTH! FOUND IN THE GRAVES OF FALLEN WARRIORS!" Who would want that? His pinkie rubbed his ear, seeing if it was possible to get any of his hearing back, but only a soft ring followed suit. He managed to find a jar of peaches, buying it was a simple toss of a small bag of coins; if there was any. His legs moved slowly away, then faster into the crowd the moment the man found out. A girl on a horse was in his way, so he ended up moving to the side, in between vendors, and stood in the shadows as "security" ran passed to find him. The moment he did, he walked in a different direction, holding the jar against the sunlight, eyeing it almost proudly. It was probably going to be his last jar of the season...

Standing back up from the bolder, project in hand, the elven women walked back into the small cave the three of them called home. It was homey, well as home as a cave could be. With old and homemade furniture and kitchen utensils. Walking over to the table in the back of the cave, the young elf placed her project down and walked back over to the kettle, which was slowly cooking their lunch, Aya picked up the wooden spoon and began stirring the smooth contains, “I need to gather more herbs… I wonder if Ria would like to go and have lunch in the forest. I can gather them then and Ria and Hesterian can have a little adventure.” She smiled to herself as she thought about leaving there little home. Lifting the wooden spoon from the kettle she looked at the chunky and tasty porridge, blowing on it for a few seconds and then taking a small taste of the apple flavored food the woman knew the food was done and ready to eat. “It needs to cool a bit but it will have plenty of time to cool while we walk around the forest.” She muttered cheerfully before she skipped away from the fire and over to the cabinet which had wooden and clay containers made perfectly for holding food. Picking out a clay container as well as a few bowls and eating utensils from the cabinet below Aya quickly gathered all needed items for their walk. Placing them in her old tattered bag, the woman made sure the hot porridge was on the bottom of the bag that way it was secured in place by the other bowls, silverware, and small homemade ‘picnic’ blanket. Putting the bag on her back she walked out of the cave, she smiled at Hesterian and Ria, “Let’s go on a little adventure, okay you two?!” She said cheerfully as she quickly walked over to Ria. Picking her up she head her close and spun in a circle before hugging the small child. “We are going to eat lunch in the forest, how does that sound?” She asked her with a warm motherly smile on her face. Seeing the old bag on the back of the elf, Hesterian knew exactly what to do. Padding over to them, he kneeled down beside Aya and waited for her to get on his back. Mounting the huge feline with easy the women placed Ria down in front of her, one arm stayed firmly around the child while her other hand held tight to his snow white fur and mane. “Towards the river Hest!” She chimed before the massive cat darted for the river’s edge. After white some time traveling, the three of them arrived at an old cabin, this cabin looked oddly familiar to the elf… her arm pulled the child closer to herself. It was that place wasn’t it, the place she found her little girl four years ago. Hesterian slowly walked towards the building before stopping a soft growl coming from his throat, he remember the area too. “It’s fine Hest… Let’s looked for some herbs near here… and then we can eat.” She told them, she hadn’t noticed anyone and neither did the massive lion. Tapping him with her heels, the cat laid down and Aya slid off of him before gently setting Ria down beside her.

People came and went just as sourly as ever, not that any of it was new; he got used to that treatment a while ago. Not a single word spoken. But then a shadow fell upon him and then the cold as the light was taken from his basking. There was a slow opening of his eyes and he squinted as a girl's voice was directed at him. "You should really head home, you know," she suggested gently. He couldn't quite see her from the shadow casted across her. But the man could've sworn it was that elf he met from the bar - upon blinking, he realized she hadn't been. No, this was a stranger. And no elf either. Why would anyone stop to chat with someone like him? Had they nothing better to do? His voice was rough but very low, almost as if he were muttering to himself. "Yeah. Thanks for the - pity - I guess. Got no where to go." Krogoth was relaxed, laying against the brick wall, taking in as much of the sun's warmth as he could. "Don't you have a family to get to our some thing to buy. Why bother wasting your time." There was a somewhat short huff at the end of his sentence. He turned his head to the right, so he could get some more light. When suddenly, Krogoth could hear the bar door open. He focused on the bartender. Who -smiled at him? 'What the f...did he have too much to drink too?' Krogoth made a strange face at the gentle gaze he gave toward the morning sky. "Beautiful morning, hm?" "Sure..." A glass was set by his hand, to which Krogoth frowned at. The bartender left immediately afterwards. "The hell...? I'm not still drunk am I? Why are people being so...weird?" He took the glass of water, and shrugged, and took it down like a shot. He inhaled and then set his head back on the brick. "Just keep walking, lass...don't waste your valuable time, okay."

The enthusiasm given by her elven mother pleased Ria. She beamed, clinging tightly to the big feline. The perfume of apple porridge was oh so inviting. "MmMmm, yummy..." The blue eyed girl stick her chin up as she took a big breath in of food. Giggling, she chased Hesterian for a bit. And then her mother stepped out of the cave with a smile she had grown up knowing. “Let’s go on a little adventure, okay you two?!” Her feet stepped around in an excited dance, unable to contain her excitement. Even if she hadn't quite had many adventures, she sure loved the word. And what it meant - could be anything! Running toward her mother, big eyes twinkling, she was picked up and placed in the comfort of her mother's arms, Ria smiled largely at her question. Eating in the forest? "Yes yes yes! Adventure-forest!" The little girl pointed at the vast wall of trees behind them. She about squirmed out of sheer excitement, but was self controlled enough to keep that inside until she could run around. Being placed on the back of the massive lion, the five-year old clung to the wisps of mane she could reach, taking in the thrill. She kicked excitedly."Yes Heseran!" The child shouted along with Aya. Giggles filled up her lungs as the white dire lion sped into the midst of trees. The dancing of the sunlight above the canopy was mystical, twinkling. The breeze caressed through her brown hair, making her giggle and fidget. The beauty of the forest seemed to almost speak. The wind tickled her soft skin, making her lean back against her mother, smiling.
After a time, Ria was placed on the grassy ground. Her big eyes fell onto the forest. And though the lion and Aya were somewhat on edge, she was bemused by a new area to explore. The little girl walked a few feet forward, going in a circle to see every inch of this place. But then she parted her lips, looking to Hesterian. There was a deep feeling resonating from him that she could understand. She grabbed her little hands and retreated a bit. "Ma-ma... Her eyes softened. "Heseran knows here." She said, appearing a bit upset now. She stared deeply at the lion and took Aya's hand, squeezing it."He says it's a mean place..." She whispered.

The gentle woman, with soft skin and wavy brown hair walked out of the cabin and spotted the group outside. She offered them a bright and warm smile. "Oh hello, travelers?" She asked but quickly shook her head. "Oh no matter, if your looking for herbs or vegetables,
take all you need." She said warmly. The smell of baking bread wafted from the cabin,
as well as the gentle and cozy feeling of a mothers home. Daenerys dusted off her green dress as she picked up a basket she had left out here. She looked back at the children and smiled. "I have warm tea and fresh bread made if you would like any." She offered to the family before picking at the flowers that sat next to her door, clearing out the dead leaves and making it look alive again.

Cazram's attention began to dwindle as dragons and humans alike began to leave the Sanctuary and head outside, leaving the caves growing colder, quieter. It bothered him just a bit at how eager they all seemed to be. He personally found conversation in a private area much more soothing and understanding than exploring while doing so, but to each their own he supposed. As his footsteps passed empty den after empty den, his destination began to change as he turned on his heel, instead heading to the dining hall, where he nimbly shifted back to his dragon form and gave a noble bow of his head to his Alpha that stood proudly in the center, greeting him calmly before he grabbed a small bite of the food spread along the tables. He would likely catch his own, but at least his belly would have some sustenance before he traveled. Otherwise,
he would lack in his ability to catch decent prey for the rest of his ventures.

The man's voice rolled over through the winds and to her ears, to which she almost strained to hear. His drunken muttering was different than the shouting or rambling that she had been accustomed to seeing around the pub, but she appreciated the change. Especially since this was someone new, someone she was not well acquainted with. Perhaps his story was different, by the way that he spoke. He was not quite the angry alcoholic that some others tended to be,
whether it be from destroyed pasts or traumatic instances. Settling in her stance off to the side, her gazes stayed on the slumped person before her, listening to his words and only looking up as another person exited the bar and placed water with her company, though was uninterested in the books they contained internally and focused her attentions before her. "My time is not as valuable as everyone else's here, sir," she replied soothingly, her words leaving as swiftly as her movements down the street just earlier. Her thoughts translated clearly to her statements, or at least they always seemed to. "I would much rather spend my time making sure that things are placed in their correct orders, by however that particular person spends their time. If you belong here, then so be it, I shall leave you be. But from my passing time here, I would not believe that this is your assigned seat." Her head tilted, letting strands of her hair fall from behind her ear and fly with the wind past her shoulder. "I would believe you do have somewhere you could be, but it is beyond your personal borders."

Aya’s sea foam green eyes scanned over the area, her long blond hair danced in the subtle breeze which danced through the forests trees. At Hesterian’s sudden soft growl, Ria seemed to catch on the two of them were uncomfortable with this place, or at least she caught on to just Hest’s discomfort. Kneeling down as Ria squeezed her hand, Aya took her hand to the little girls cheek and tucked some of her brown hair out of her face and gently tucked it behind her little ear. “It was a mean place but… it’s okay now.” She told her as her attention was pulled from her child and up to the women that was now walking out onto the porch of the cabin. Standing up from her child’s side she slightly stepped in front of her and Hesterian moved in front of them. His large blue eyes focusing on the women. His intense gaze only lasted for a few moments before he nuzzled Ria, in an attempt to comfort her. Walking around the two, he brushed against the back of Aya’s legs before he padded off to a nearby tree and laid down. Aya’s light green eyes stayed on the woman as she spoke. “Y-You don’t mind?” She asked as the woman offered for them to take herbs from their garden and even to stay for tea and bread. The shock stayed with Aya for a moment before her cheerful smile returned on the young elven woman’s face. “Do you like porridge? I brought some along there’s plenty to share.” She said as she took her bag off her shoulder. Fiddling with the latch, she opened the bag and pulled out the warm pot of porridge, loosening the top of the dish, the smell of apples and oats filled the air mixing in with the warm smell of bread. While Aya was being cheerful and offering food to the older motherly women, Hest had caught the scent of the man in the garden. His head raised from his paws, he could tell he was not human either. His lion eyes rolled towards Aya, he knew the intense emotions that would roll from her when she finds out.

The older woman smiled. "Ooh, that sounds lovely. My son should be back soon as well if you don't mind waiting, he will have hunted something by now." She hummed and walked inside,
leaving the door open for them to enter. The inside was warm, fresh bread lined the counters and candles flickered in small places. A few packs lie in a corner and the stale dusty air was replaced with the fresh smell of herbs and bread dough. She began chopping vegetables on the counter, humming softly. "So, what brings you out this way?" She asked the small family.
"Not many people out in the woods, let alone this far from the village." She mused as she worked. "Oh, where are my manors, I've lost my mind!" She said and turned with a warm smile. "My name is Daenerys Stormborn." She chirped.

Kolvar casually walked through the forest admiring the scenery around him. Amidst his walk, rustling in the nearby bushes caught his attention. He stopped dead in his tracks and listened carefully looking around light bending his knees into a crouch so that he could pounce and attack at any given moment. He silently and slowly spun around in a circle observing the outer area as well as keeping his ears alert for any sudden rushing sound. About 3/4 into his circling, He was attacked from the side throwing him off balance and knocked him to the ground. He quickly turned his body under what seemed to be a smallish animal ready to snap its neck. Then he noticed the orange fur and the familiar scent that came with the animal. "Luka! I haven't seen you in a few days!," he exclaimed rubbing his hair through the sly foxes fur. He nuzzled into his fur as Luka made like a wiggle worm and twisted his body trying to break free from the hug."Oh I'm sorry. I forget I'm a lot stronger than I think I am. Come on Luka, I'm going to need your help. Diddly hasn't paid me and it's well past the due date of payment.", He mentioned standing up and brushing himself off and giving off his plain face just in case someone had been lurking in the shadows. He looked around the tree canopy scanning the tree tops looking to see if anyone had indeed been watching him. He had an inner feeling that someone had been watching him for a bit now and he was typically never wrong about these feelings. Before he could finish scanning the tree tops, Luka pulled at his pant leg urging him to come along. "Hmph," slipped from his lips as he gave one more quick glance at the tree tops before moving along towards the village. With Luka trotting by his side, Kolvar made his way towards the city as he was getting pretty close. When Kolvar finally reached the outside of the city, he stopped for a moment eyeing the surrounding buildings. He pulled his long hair making sure to cover his ears as he didn't want to start any commotion. He noticed Diddly walking around in his neighborhood and speaking to a girl who happened to be riding a donkey. As soon as Diddly was finished yelling after the girl who rode away from him, Kolvar silently made-way between the buildings and snatched Diddly off of the streets and into the shadowed alleyway. He drug the yelling and confused Diddly towards the back of the alleyway quickly trying to avoid a scene and threw him into the fence that ended the alleyway. "You owe me Diddly," He spoke as he towered over the shaking old man. Typically he would feel really bad about hurting the elderly but not this scum. He watched the old man lay on the piss-ridden dirt beneath him and spit in his face. Kolvar closed his eyes and jerked his head back as the spit that smelled of decay and alcohol land on his face. Anger rose in him as he wiped the spit off of his face and immediately looked at him with a facial expression that was enough to scare the average human. He kicked Diddly somewhere on his body and stuck the toe of his shoe into Diddly's mouth as Diddly howled from the hit. He watched the old man quickly dig into his picked and toss a coin pouch at his feet exclaiming "That should be enough to cover it or also possibly more!" Kolvar crouched down and picked up the pouch and then made eye contact with Diddly saying "Thanks for doing business." He stood upright and turned to walk away from the old man. Luka followed close behind making sure to look back every now and then making sure the old man wasn't coming back to attack. Kolvar walked to the opening of the alleyway and looked left and right before he looked into the sky then back turning to the right to head to the pub.

Ryn shuffled around her little home trying to find a revealing outfit that would help her make more money to be able to pay Diddly right off the bat after she got out of work. As she shuffled around the shack, she tumbles to the floor yelling out some nice profanity in response. She rolled around to see where her foot got wrapped into her bed sheet that managed to fall to the floor among all of the scrambling she was doing. She would need to hurry up though before she was late to work and reprimanded for being late. She couldn't afford to be reprimanded as she was already on her last leg at her job as well. Everything was coming downhill but she still had to find a way to stay at the surface as she would never retreat back into his abusive arms. Just the thought of it turned her stomach but she didn't have time to focus on her past as of now. She had to remain in the present so that she didn't lose her home. She refused to meet defeat at the hands of him. She found the perfect outfit and threw it on in a hurry. She quickly fixed her wavy hair pinning it up to where it gave her a braid crown. She threw on the finest makeup giving herself the most beautiful face she thought. She slid on her sandals and collected her knife shoving it into the knife holster that she always wore around her thigh. She walked out of the door and noticed a girl on a donkey looking at her shack. She nervously turned around and shut her door, locking it, and jiggling the doorknob to make sure it was locked. She then made her way towards the brothel so that she could make sure she wouldn't be late to work.

Water rushed through the thinnest part of the river giving it life as the fish swam under the surface and the flying creatures landed on the surface to get a satisfying taste of the river. Next to the river was a mound of rocks that overlooked the river, shadowing only half of the river when the sun hit it at the right time of day. Through the distance, the sound of wings beating in the air could be heard as the sounds came closer and closer towards the river. Above the canopy, only a glimpse of a dragon shadow could be seen as they raced past the opening in the forest treetops. You could hear as the beating circled around and a large shadow mass comes floating down from the canopy towards the forest floor. Morsa placed her massive back hind feet to the ground first and then the first. The sound echoed throughout the forest for a certain distance before it stopped. She looked around as her breathing was ragged from flying. She didn't like her dragon form as she was the only one she'd ever met of her kind. She transformed from her dragon form to her human form displaying a short, thicc light skinned beauty. Her hair was all natural as her curls shined in the sun their lavender color. Her eyes were a deep brown almost black as they adjusted from the sunlight. She walked around to get used to her human motor functions again and while walking around, she picked long stemmed flowers from the river side and began twisting them together to make a flower crown of different assorted colors. Once she finished, she stopped walking around and placed the crown on her head. She shook her head around making her curls bounce in the sunlight and she quickly pranced towards the river to look at her hopeful masterpiece. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and giggled saying "Perfect. Everytime." She sat back up and sat on the ground looking around the forest. She has been gone for awhile and just returned after a long time from being gone. Anger built up inside of her thinking about what happened but she had to get away. She couldn't stay there. She was just glad she was able to get into the sanctuary. She sighed and shrugged off the past and stood up and looked down realizing she was barefoot. "Well that might be a problem. I hope I don't get anything caught in my feet," she spoke to herself knowing she had to make the walk back to the sanctuary to get back into her old house. She headed towards the sanctuary to say hello to everyone there and to hopefully meet some new people who didn't know about any of her past choices. She just hoped nobody would possibly notice her at first and then notice her later. She hated she had to come back here but she had nowhere else to turn as she was in danger in her previous situation which resulted in the loss of her mate and all 3 of her hatchlings. Pain struck as she continued to think about the situation of her safety and she just prayed they couldn't track her down to her hidden location. Tears fell from her face but she wiped them away knowing she didn't have time to stop and mourn the loss of her mate and hatchlings as she has been for the past few weeks. She was just getting to where she could interact with people again and she was happy about her healing progress.

The raven-haired assassin stood quietly, and patiently as she watched the man from above, as well as the rest of the forest. Noticing the scent of an animal as well as the sound of the shrubbery moving about from a short distance away, the woman’s eyes were instantly looking for the animal instead of watching the man. At this point, the elf had not heard the creature coming forwards but it was not long until the animal was within his earshot as well. From the scent that it carried, she was sure it was a fox, a sly animal with playful habits. From the scenes that unfolded shortly after, it was clear that the fox named Luka, and the elven man knew each other rather well. Their union was rather sweet, maybe a little too sweet for the assassin, nothing good ever came out of such strong relationships. The little hope the woman had of finding such a carefree life had been lost, she was forever bound as an elite assassin of the ShadowRend… In other words, forever an assassin and forever alone. Dark Shadow was right to send her on her way, banning her from the sanctuary to protect his dwindling people. She was a danger and she knew that she also knew she didn’t deserve a normal life. Pulling herself from her personal thoughts Rajani’s pale blue eyes slid back to the elf as he began searching the treetops with his eyes. The assassin watched the elven man closely from her shadowed hiding place in the canopy. A smirk slid across her rose pink lips from beneath her partial mask, ‘Look all you want my dear, you’ll never spot me.’ she felt rather amused as she watched the man scan the trees. She knew he could feel her eyes on him that was a natural instinct most everyone listened too. After a short while, the little fox that had come bursting from the shrubbery pulled on the elf’s pant leg beckoning the lad to move along. The raven-haired woman watched as he took one last look at the trees, he was still unable to spot the assassin, only further widening her smirk, ‘Though it’s amusing to watch someone look for me so intently… He’s not on my list so I have no reason to pursue him.’ She silently watched as the man and his little fox walked out of the forest and on towards the village. Sliding her back down the oak trees body, Rajani sat against the tree limb and allowed her right leg to hang from the shadowed branch as she pulled a small letter from her top. Her pale fingers traced the letters seal before peeling back the red wax, which held the envelope shut, keeping its contents concealed. Bits of wax fell on her black leather attire as she opened it and gently pulled the old parchment paper from its protected home. Flipping the folded letter open with her index finger while her left hand held the letter she began reading its contents. The handwriting was very neat, as well as the paper was rather nice for any poor man to own. The scent that lingered on the parchment was of pine and charcoal, “Ah, so this one is from the man that lives on the edge of town… “ She muttered before continuing with her reading.

    “Dear Assassin,

This is very unlike me but I cannot sit back any longer and do nothing. My name is Barkus Durak, I’ll spare you my title for now. I am writing to you for your assistance with a small problem I have been encountering these past few months. There is a thief among my employees here on my large farm. The items that have been stolen started out small, some eggs, straw, and even a cub of hay. At first, I simply marked it off as either the eggs had been broken or ate but an animal, as well as the hay, was simply not accounted for when it was actually fed to the cattle. However, I do believe now, that these items were stolen as well because more has gone missing in larger amounts as well as one of my prized cows have gone missing, ten hens have disappeared as well as a hog and my nanny goat. The authorities have been notified multiple times but it seems that no one gives a damn.

I’ll pay you handsomely for the capture of the thieves and the return of my livestock by sundown on the last day of fall.

    Yours truly,

    Sir Barkus Durak.”

A soft chuckle escaped Rajani’s lips as she sat on the tree branch closing the letter. “Alright… I hope this man knows that his precious animals are probably already dead at this point but honest pay for honest work is all I care about…” She whispered to herself as she stood to her feet and jumped from the tree. Landing on her feet, the raven-haired woman stood from her crouch position, her cloak slowly fell around her well-toned physique. “Time to pay the village a little visit, find the thieves and get some beautiful gold coins.” She grinned as she began walking down a dirt path towards the village. Several hours had passed, the sun was resting a little past noon. Lurking in the shadows, Rajani soon found herself gazing at a cabin, the woman as she inhaled deeply, ‘Ah, so I was right… a Dragon lives here.’ She thought silently to herself as she wrinkled her nose, ‘And a lot of birds…’ the woman continued to stay silent as she began to move along, something about this place though… something about that dragons scent bothered her.

He was honestly curious about why Rajani hadn’t been at the sanctuary, why she refused to come back. The young lad pondered the thought of asking Dark but maybe he shouldn’t , maybe he should try and pry it out of Rajani some more. Holding the bag of scrolls and letters on his shoulder, Jace looked like the average postal man in some cases regarding Raj, he somewhat felt like one instead of an apprentice in the assassin field. Raj had completely stopped training him, she refused to teach him anymore and insisted that he was a full fletch assassin but the man knew better than that. His hands tightened on the strap of the bag. Giving in to his curiosity, Jace quickly started walking towards Dark Shadow, he wanted answers and he wanted them now.

Aya’s seafoam green eyes scanned over the area, her long blond hair danced in the subtle breeze which danced through the forests trees. At Hesterian’s sudden soft growl, Ria seemed to catch on the two of them were uncomfortable with this place, or at least she caught on to just Hest’s discomfort. Kneeling down as Ria squeezed her hand, Aya took her hand to the little girl's cheek and tucked some of her brown hair out of her face and gently tucked it behind her little ear. The shock stayed with Aya for a moment before her cheerful smile returned to the young elven woman’s face.

Handing a few coins to the stall owner, Riya smiled at the woman before taking the fruit she’d paid for, “Thank you.” She thanked her and bowed slightly out of respect. Shortly after the pale blonde haired las elegantly turned from the stall just in time to see an elf lad come walking out of an alleyway with a cute fox at his heels. Her pale pink eyes looked the man up and down before they fell on the fox, it was adorable. Averting her gaze from the pair, Riya tucked a loose strand of her pale blonde hair behind her ear. In her human form, Riya was a rather pretty little thing. Her hair was such a pale blonde it was nearly white, her skin looked soft and fragile as it was as light as porcelain and her eyes were a very light pink. And if her mere appearance wasn’t enough to turn heads in aw, the woman always wore elegant and royal clothing. In her hair, she wore a light pink rose, as well as white gold jewelry, which lined her forehead. The dress she wore was a light peach color made from silk, which outlined her feminine figure, tracing her smooth curves.

6 crows looked towards the door and began to caw, causing 6 ravens to ruffle their feathers and click their beaks. 6 black lamergiers screeched and flapped their wings, they towered over the 12 smaller birds around them. Each of these birds had black feathers with a purple gloss.
On the ground were large feathers, much too large for the birds around the room. Two bright eyes appeared from the back room, but they faded as footsteps drew closer. A black haired woman walked forward and smiled. "Don't you know its rude to barge into someones home?"
She said with a soft smile, her eyes narrowing down into slits. The room was musty, it smelled of blood and decay, the room had red decorations with black accents. Black roses dotted the room as well as black orchids. The woman before the intruder wore a short little shirt that cut off at her rib cage and had a heart shape at the top. Covering her breasts but allowing easy movement. She wore leggings that covered from his hip bone down into black heeled boots. She smiled and leaned against the door, one of her crows nipping at her wavy black hair.
"Now, what can I do for you, lost little bird?" She asked with a sly smile, her purple eyes watching the intruder with a fierce passion. She had long fingernails that curled into a point, she filed them down to look like bird talons. He birds calmed down and relaxed with her presence by them.

Light will have to wait until next post.

Sapphire will have to wait until next post.

Chloe Freshwater

She didn’t exactly know who couldn’t afford a place like this until a small click caught her ear. From years of her older siblings creeping back into the house late at night, she nearly yelled out a name. Then her metallic eyes found a girl. “That is certainly not a every day outfit...” she eyed her curiously, but then a rush of energy filled her veins. Dear god; she was attractive. Not her type, but it just might be the closest thing to her type. “H-Hey... You got problems with Diddles?” She eyed her a moment. Her own father would strangle her or any of her older siblings if she wore anything remotely like what the girl was wearing; she liked her even more. A thought of hopping off her horse for a proper introduction did come across her head but she was clearly in a rush.

Daniel Freshwater

The moment he filled up one last glass of the travelers, the two got up, and set a hefty bag of coins. “T-Thanks but-“ Words fell, eyeing them as they left in a silent haste; apparently they finished a quiet conversation while he stepped outside for only a moment. The door closed and he opened the bag and dumped the golden coins in his hands. His eyes glittered at the sight but then placed what they owed away and kept the rest simply with a easy smile.

August and Annabelle

Before she could complain, the old man only grunted: “He’ll find us later.” The girl had a doubtful look at him but walked next to him, as they slowly stepped into the forest. “Take the North and I’ll take South,” he spoke easily, a deep look in his eye. Annabelle was silent, hopping over a log, “You think she’s here? What makes you think she’s here more than anything?” The old man stopped in his tracks, startling her, and eyed him. His fists were clenched tightly, eyeing the ground. “If she isn’t here, I fear the worst.” Annabelle gasped a moment, falling on her arse, as the old man shifted into a large dragon. “Get going,” he hissed through his teeth, his long scales scrapping against branches. He was too large, in Annabelles perspective, compared to her or any other dragon she had ever met. Briefly. She swore under her breathe once a sharp gust of wind went through her hair and clothes, watching him disappear easily in the clouds. Doubt laid in her eyes, glancing around the forest a moment before shifting. Every time she shifted, fog dripped out of her mouth. She sucked it in, and took off. If this was a territory, then whoever runs it will have to run into either of them... Although, the thought sounded strange for a moment: So close to humans? It sounded dangerous and risky.

Nash Thornbuck

He tucked the jar into the sack that hung loosely on his shoulder, carefully, and then glanced around. Were they still looking for him? “Better to leave the scene...” he said, going to the tree line and disappearing within. His eyes went away with seeing tracks here and there. Years ago, when he finally learned how to track a dragon, it was... dangerously easy. A majority of the time, dragons didn't even bother to cover themselves or their tracks. And with that, the dragon that they’ve been tracking, Light, was easy at first... But then harder. Years harder. The female dragon finally learned how to cover rather quickly, other than literally leaving scales behind, but used her breathe more often than she should have. Years of talking and moving in with villages finally led them to a few questions: Has it ever gotten foggy really quickly before? Have you seen dragons in this region? Was the dragon white? Most of these damn questions were answered by children. But they felt closer than ever, but with very little evidence this time. They simply assumed that she had gone this way.
His feet stopped below him, and he stared at the dark leather boots. So many years. He left his village as a child, hoping and wishing for adventure. It isn’t like he got it or anything but... He chuckled to himself, his rough hand going through his short hair. “Would they even recognize me?” He said out-loud, glancing around to see if anyone would have heard. He kept walking, easily deciding that he’d find a body of water somewhere to enjoy his jar of stolen peaches. “Last of the season~” he chimed to himself, and finally got to the water. It looked small, but deep. He glanced around a moment, then moved about 6-7 rocks together before heading upstream. It was a easy and simply reminder of where to turn back to the village, since he was originally on the edge of it, and kept on moving.

Kolvar looked around a few times while walking down the main walkway through the market where farmers sold their crops and goods for a living. All around you could see individuals digging around trying to find the perfect item or haggling with a farmer who's prices are too high on either their fruits or vegetables. He walked passed this really attractive girl who was purchasing some goods from a merchant. He glanced to see her looking him up and down but all Kolvar could do was smirk knowing she was looking at him. He made his way towards the courtyard to see what other goods were being sold. The courtyard of the town was filled with stores upon stores trying to sell their goods. Kolvar eyed a blacksmith tent selling massive swords that were guaranteed to slice right through a wood dummy. He looked down to find that Luka had already ran back to the forest leaving him on his own. Luka wasn't very good when it came to massive crowds who could potentially step on his already injured tail. He also realized that Luka had been running off a lot more than usual which he didn't mind because he always came back but he was beginning to worry. Kolvar walked over to the blacksmith tent and eyed around at the swords for a moment before he was approached by the owner of the tent saying "You see anything that catches ye' eye? This here be the finest sword around this land. Can cut through a wooden dummy. Try it for ye' self." Anyone around here could tell the salesman was not from this area but neither was he so he could relate. Kolvar eyed the sword and then eyed salesman that was holding the sword out to him with a glance. He took the sword and held it in his hands feeling the blade and holding his hand out in front of him to see exactly how heavy it was. The sword was actually light and when he bounced it in his hand, it seemed almost too good to be true. Kolvar let the sword fall to his side and then spoke up to the salesman in a deep voice "Let me see the wooden dummy." The salesman grinned mischievously and brought out the dummy placing it in front of him. Kolvar waited for him to move out of the way and before anyone was ready for his move, he dashed towards the dummy jumping into the air and twirling his body around to give the sword enough momentum to slice the dummy apart. The sword sliced into the dummy like a knife going through an apple. He landed on the ground not phased by the slight workout he had to do to be able to accomplish that move and got down to one knee to inspect the wooden dummy. He took his finger and felt between two slices and felt four little invisible strings. "Get away from the dummy if ye' not going ter buy." the salesman aggressively implied stepping towards Kolvar. Kolvar held the sword up to the salesman catching right under his adam's apple and standing up. "Don't get any closer to me. Also you're a fraud." In a instant, he sliced the dummy's strings and tossed the sword on the ground. He walked away as the salesman scrambled to gather himself from the public humiliation he just received. Kolvar hated doing that but also the salesman was cheating people out of a lot of money. He made his way from the courtyard trying to draw less and less attention to himself before he looked behind himself to see the blacksmith salesman's "bounty hunters" after him. "Well shit. Gotta go I guess" he spoke to himself before dashing through the streets making way by yelling excuse me and somewhat shoving people if necessary. He ran past the gorgeous girl one more time really getting a good look at her as he raced by. He looked around at his surroundings and noticed an alleyway to the right. He dodged into the alleyway as the bounty hunters raced past him as he held his breath hiding behind a barrel hoping for the best. A sigh of relief left his mouth and he slumped against the wall trying to recollect himself as well as his soul that basically left him. "I've got to stop being so ballsy." He spoke to himself through raspy breaths looking to his right every so often to make sure the brutes didn't look down the alleyway just to hand his ass to him.

Ryn started making way towards the brothel before a voice spoke out addressing her asking if she was having issues with Diddly. She stopped in her tracks and turned around to face the girl who was on her donkey. She eyed the girl before looking around to make sure no one had their eyes on her. She glanced up to the sun and then the girl in the eye saying "There are some issues with Diddly, yes. But I assume they will resolve themselves." Ryn didn't really talk to people for the fear that they might recognize her as many people travel to this city to trade or for business. It was very possible the abusive husband she previously left, could show up and find her somehow. "I'm sorry but as much as I would love to stay and chat, I have to get to work. It was nice speaking with you" she spoke giving her a soft smile and turning walking off to get off to work. She wasn't trying to be rude but she couldn't afford to stand out in the street wearing that outfit. She finally made it to the brothel and it was already packed with women wearing their most revealing outfits but not to reveal everything. She walked to the back with men howling at her as she typically wore less revealing clothing. She had the body shape for them but felt uncomfortable wearing it except she really didn't have a choice tonight as she needed the extra money. She applied the rest of her makeup in the back looking in the mirror to perfect herself so that her tips would be very large tonight. After finishing her makeup she added a little oil to her skin to make her skin glow ever so slightly. She overlooked herself in the mirror trying to admire her long wavy brown hair with her deep ocean blue eyes and her olive kissed skin. Except when she looked at herself all she felt was disgust. She eyed herself one more time before walking out into work with a smile to inviting even her boss would be proud of her.

As a clan mate lowered his head in thanks before taking a meal, the Sundown Alpha addressed it with a gentle dip of his head. He turned his chin aside. He was going to carry on, but spotted Jace from the corner of his eye. Analyzing the boy's steadfast approach, Dark Shadow was unsure of where this would lead. Seems like he was rather eager to say something. And whenever Jace was approached like this, he always had a question. The black dragon weaved around to face him, his barbed tail swayed as it did so, while he decided to see what this was about. Jace appeared to be collecting supplies: scrolls, letters, and others of Rajani's things. They were strapped behind him so it seemed so. Dark Shadow opened his jaw and spoke to him like seeing an old friend. "Seems the only time I see you anymore is when you need answers." A husky chuckle lifted from his throat. And his electric blue eyes drifted onto the white haired lad curiously. "Now what is it? I can tell when someone has something stirring around in their heads, being Alpha for so long makes it easy to distinguish." He stated and huffed.

It was bizarre seeing someone care so much about him lying in front of a bar. He was doing nothing either. However, this reminded him of that particular elf again and while this girl didn't seem as bubbly and naïve, she had that same determination. She was smart and careful to word things. He was almost too out of it to understand the jumble of words that came from her mouth; but he had managed to get the gist of it. 'Girl should be a freaking business woman with that kind of talk.' The man grumbled and slumped in on one knee. The girl was really stuck on fixing him, huh? Poor thing. Krogoth exhaled tiredly, shook his head, and dragged his hand through his hair. "Not my personal borders, more like borders of the living." Krogoth explained dryly. "If you have a way to get to it, then I wouldn't do this all day -but! Magic doesn't exist anymore. So, you have nothing left to say and I can spend my days wasting away." He honestly wanted to soak up some sun. 'Why is it whenever I want to lay back and forget everything, a woman always shows up to get me to do something!' First was with the assassin woman, then the bubbly elf Aya, and now her. It appeared they were like little parasites. He could never get rid of this.

Squeezing tightly to her mother's hand, she wasn't really sure what to do except huddle. Taking a deep breath into her lungs, the girl puffed out her chest to give her courage. Her brown hair was nestled behind her ear and she gazed up at Aya. She said the place was okay now. Yet, Hesterian had said differently. The fear only sunk in as a woman stepped out of the house to greet them. Ria circled her mother and hid herself. She clung to the back of her shirt. Even if this lady seemed nice and things seemed to cool off, Ria only relaxed once the white lion nosed her reassuringly. "O-kay." The little toddler brushed his muzzle with her hands. His comfort was reassuring, and she made it back to her mother. Clinging still to Aya's outfit, glancing over her shoulders, her hand reached out and pointed some distance away. Then she looked back and yanked on her attire twice. "What's a...a...!" She mouthed the word very slowly before speaking up. "Dwagon...? D-r-agon..." It felt very nice to say. Her lips curled and she gazed up at her mother, but hearing the older woman say her name - Daenerys, she cocked her head. What was that? Sounded really weird. She didn't even want to think of pronouncing that. Nevertheless, Ria perked up. She giggled and jumped up and down. "Oh and my name is R-..." The toddler always struggled with her 'r's. But she got it after a few attempts. "R--R-Ria...and we're eating in the forest. I'M on an adventure, Dan...Dan...Danryus!"

[list] After a short moment the cries of the feathered creatures began ring out, catching the raven-haired assassins attention. Her pale eyes scanned over the eerie cabin, Rajani had a feeling the owner to this little place which housed the creepy flock of birds wouldn’t be letting her slip on by. Before she realized it the young woman had found herself standing on the porch of the cabin, peering in through the doorway. Ah yes, her curiosity had gotten the better of her it seems. The smell of iron and decay filled her sensitive nose, her pale pupils dilated and her nose scrunched up from the stench. This was no ordinary home…. Soon a black haired woman made an appearance, a smile slide across her lips before speaking, “Don’t you know its rude to barge into someone’s home?” the pale eyed woman glanced around, when had she entered the house? There was something strange going on here, and this raven-haired lass didn’t like it. Taking a step back, Rajani slid a hand to her waist while the other hung at her side. “My apologized, I had not intended to enter...” she informed the purple eyed woman. Rajani’s mask and hood were still covering her head and face, only her light blue eyes shined through the blackness that cascaded around her porcelain face. Her eyes trailed over the woman and the attire she wore, it was very different from Rajani’s but that was to be expected, after all she was the only Shadow Rend assassin within these parts and it better stay that way for her sake. Raj wore long black leather pants with a long sleeved black shirt, around her waist and bust area she wore a black under bust corset, which had buckles in the front and snitched up in the back similar to a normal corset. On her back was a crossbow, along with a quiver of arrows with silver tips. Traveling down her well-toned thighs, on either side there were leg strap sheathes which held two daggers on each side. Her boots were knee-highs and were practically flat to make traveling a little easier. The pale eyed lass also wore a cloak which fell almost to the back of her knees, and protective black leather armor for her forearms and hands which lasted up like her corset. The smell that lingered on this stranger only told Raj that she was in fact a killer but she at the moment had no need or want to toil in the affairs of another dragoness when there was no coin involved. Her eyes followed the blood scented stranger as she leaned against the doorframe and spoke once more, “Now, what can I do for you, lost little bird?” the woman’s sly smile wasn’t going to fool the assassin, and she hadn’t missed the way the woman was looking at her either. It was almost sending a chill down her spine; she wasn’t fond of romance from a woman… She’d had plenty of that from the little incident with Ember. “Hmm, yes… Maybe you could help me.” Rajani started, a smirk sliding over her face as she allowed the memories from her previous days to slide to the back of her mind. “There has been some livestock stolen from a wealthy man do south of here… Have you seen anyone wandering around with any high dollar farm pets?” She asked, “If not, then I’ll be on my way.” She told her, the smell of a dragon was also trailing the woman and it was clear to Raj she was one, seeing how her eyes would narrow and dilate. Rajani was sure the woman hadn’t noticed she too was a dragon, her scent was covered by her soap as well as the perfume which hid her royal heritage, leaving her smelling of the pine forest and sweet lake water in which she bathed.

It didn’t take long for Dark to take noticed of him either, Stopping in front of the large spiked black dragon. Jace looked up at him a small smile slid over his face as he chuckled at Dark’s comment, “Ah, I tend to be more busy then before it seems.” He explained before listening to Dark continue on, “Yeah, I would assume over time you’d pick up on this kind of stuff.” He chuckled a bit before continuing, “I was curious to why Rajani isn’t staying in the sanctuary anymore. She refuses to talk about it… not only that she’s seemed to have become more aggressive, she won’t even let me enter the place where she’s staying. I have to leave her things right outside” He said as he rubbed the back of his neck, “It kind of has me worried… Last time, she got really ill when she was away and I’ve never seen her cover herself in so much work before either… She’s even taking on petty jobs as well, like finding lost and stolen livestock…” He told him as his red eyes shifted off to the side in thought.

Aya sighed softly as she watched Aya react to the discomfort in which Hesterian let off. After a while though the young girl calmed down as her large white lion nuzzled her, letting her know it was alright now. The young woman’s eyes traveled from her little brown haired toddler to the woman standing in the doorway. “Oh wonderful! Yes, we don’t mind waiting now do we, Ria?” She said with a smile as she looked at down at the small child. Hesterian said laying near a tree, his head resting on his paws. The young elven mother, followed the woman into the house with Ria trailing beside her asking what a dragon was, “You know what a dragon is, they’re the larges beasts I sow into the fabric of you blankets, those my dear are dragons.” She told her with a warm smile as she gently took ahold of her hand. “There are many kind dragons in the world, but there are also mean ones too.” She told her daughter, most people would instantly talk about the death and destruction that dragons inflict on the world that they live in but Aya knew better, she had met many dragons in her past and all exhibited a variety of different personalities. They were similar to humans and elves as well as other creatures because they shared similar emotions. As they entered the house, Aya’s nose was filled with the scent of freshly cooked bread, “Oh, wow… that smells lovely.” She said as a warm smile fell over the elves lips. She had always wanted to try to make bread but so far she had not been able to master the task… she tended to somehow make large crackers instead of bread. Taking a seat at the table Aya motioned for Ria to come sit on her lap, she didn’t want the young girl wondering around the place and getting into things she should have been. “I’m in need of more herbs for cooking and the like, so I decided it would be a wonderful day to go have a picnic by the river and teach Ria how to identify some different herbs.” She told her as she watched her chop away at the vegetables. “It’s nice to meet you, Daenerys. My names Aya and-” chuckled softly as Ria began introducing herself to Daenery’s. Hearing the child trying to pronounce the older woman’s name was quite cute, causing a soft motherly smile to fall over Aya’s face and she listened as her daughter told the woman that they were going to eat in the forest.

Even though she was a dragon at heart, the dragoness, clearly a human woman to those around her, followed after the elven man. She watched as he spoke to the foreign black smith and later took the sword to test it out. The young ladies eyes were already on the dummy, she knew something was up with it, foreigners in the village as well as in the palace walls were always seemingly up to no good. She watched the man declare the blacksmith was a fraud, watching the humiliation flow over the foreigners face was quite amusing but Riya did her best not to chuckle like the rest of the people around. Turning away from the scene, Riya knew she could not be found ogling an elf… her brother would kill her and her alpha would go into a rage. She’d heard stories about the human man he’d killed which his beta had an affair with. She wasn’t interested in love anyways, only pain and suffering came from loving others. People were full of lies and dirty tricks, it wasn’t worth the pain… the only one she needed was her dear twin brother, he was her only family and the only one she’d ever let close to her. Having her eyes turned from the man she suddenly seen the handsome elf rushing passed her, ‘He’s in a hurry.’ She thought to herself before looking back to see what he was running from. It was a bounty hunter… she knew their attire anywhere. As he passed her up the woman slowly followed after him, seeing the man going towards an alley way Riya did a bit of quick thinking and went towards him, “Um, sir. I seen the elf go that way!” She pointed down the street, “He was headed for the forest.” She told him her tone of voice was rather convincing.

The older woman walked over to the table and rested a plate of warm, light brown bread as she listened to the mother and daughter duo. "Ah yes, Dragons are a mystical being with such grace and beauty, with a fire as hot as passion." She said with a wink, before turning back to the counter. "Lovely creatures they are, lovely like your name." She smiled warmly towards the child, before walking over with a basket and placing it by the Elven woman. "Here,
dear. That's every herb in this garden and some i picked up on the way here." She said and stood up, dusting off her pine green dress before looking out the window. "My son and I just found this place today you see, we were run from that nasty village, oh terrible people they are. My son was a blacksmith, he forged all sorts of things, well one of his projects was a dragon helmet he made. Blasted people thought he was a dragon spy, ran us both out. So here we are, quite a lovely little place." Daenerys mused, more so talking to stall for time.
She wondered where her child might be, but it didn't hurt to have company besides her own son. The more the older woman spoke, the more her accent came out, it was a light Scottish tone, but very hard to make out. As she worked on chopping some herbs, the sky blocked out for a quick second, a rather strong gust of wind wafted by, then nothing silence.
Daenerys looked up. "Oof, strong winds today aye dear?" She questioned, not looking up.
Then loud thunderous steps stomped up to the door, it swung open to show a large man,
he had a deer in his right hand and an ax in the other. He locked eyes on the woman and the child at the table. A low growl rumbled in his throat.
"Rathian darling, be nice! This lovely family has done no harm. You over protective lap dog." Daenerys hissed to her son, the man seemed to straighten up and nodded. "Yes mother, welcome." He said, his eyes scanning the elf before he walked inside and put a clean and gutted deer on the counter. "Welcome, I am Rathian." He introduced himself with a slight bow. He was rather dirty, he bore a tatted brown shirt and dusty black pants with thick and burnt work boots. He had clearly been the muscle of the two as his mother looked pristine and welcoming.

Seraphina giggled and seemed to muse over the words. "Oh, I may know something of it.
Burkhardt! Why don't you make our guest feel welcome?" She said with a large grin.
Suddenly, a large and forceful shove came to Rajani's back and the door slammed shut,
a rather large, but tired and sick looking male stood behind her. He had a large chain around his neck and he looked near death. "I'm sorry, i have no choice." He said to Rajani,
his voice was hoarse and frail. Burkhardt lowered his head as Seraphina walked towards the two. "Now tell me, have you come to kill me? Or just annoy me with silly questions?"
She asked the female. Her birds began to kaw and flap their wings once more.
