♣️ Crush ~ X ♣️ Tags ~ Dark ♣️ Location ~ Sanctuary ♣️ Mithyria giggled with delight as Dark bantered back to her, pearly white teeth emerging from her emerald muzzle. This was the Alpha she appreciated. But his ideas were quite clever indeed, and she took note of them, hoping to use them later however they ended up appearing. He seemed to know more about trickery than she did. “Oh yes, the elves would be riddled with fear and disgust! I would be the talk of the next three centuries, and they would look to you as the one who endorsed such an outrage. Perhaps I shall bring back the spare points, and you could hang them on a necklace to display to the world just how powerful you are. And the fashion taste! Elf ears would be all the rage next season, all thanks to your Coral Goddess of the Emerald Reef. I know, I know, no need to thank me. Your approval is all I need.” She laughed again, hardly able to rid herself of the infectious joy she felt imagining such a fantastical world. What would her Alpha say if such things were true? Maybe she really would be his prized servant, or an emissary to the underwater creatures. She had always wanted to learn to speak fish anyways. Her sleek cheek fur was brushed slightly by a draft of wind as she noticed the bend in the wall, and guessing by the other dragon’s stare, that was where his office was. Or study, she supposed it should be called, since he studied the ancient texts there. {i]Are elven studies used for studying?[/i] That’d be a question she’d have to ask. But, his voice rang out again, and her teeth continued to show. “It was meant to be one!”’she exclaimed, pulling her wings tightly to her sides in preparation of entering his space of intent. She wasn’t exactly sure what had changed since she last visited, and for all she knew, she’d knock down a thousand scrolls with her shimmering tail before he could even sit down. It wasn’t long ago that her very tail had wiped out a section of coral and caused a goldfish family to move out from it. She had collected so many shells to repay. But, her mind was off track. She pulled back to reality, keeping a step behind Dark so she would enter as his guest. That, and so she wouldn’t run into any sudden walls or decor pieces if the doorway was only big enough for one dragon…or one person at a time. - Quote :

It seemed like it would be considered weak to ask for help, especially when it came to unborn dragons. They didn’t even need to be fed. The red ridgeback opened his mouth to respond when a familiar feminine voice sounded from behind him. It definitely startled him, his wings flaring up slightly. He even tugged those black eggs closer to him. But he was oh so thankful that she showed up, truly. Otherwise, he might have really been shoved into a corner and might have made a terrible decision. He finally shut his mouth after a moment, gazing up at her for a few moments before his eyes went back to the dragon man before them both. What was the woman beside him planning to do? He didn’t know if he wanted to watch her hurt him, stranger or no. |

| Lucifer A odd greenish pale ooze dripped from above and landed with a slight squish beside Akeheni. An elongated claw slowly reached from the darkness of the ceiling, behind it following a slow and slithering male. Rotten like a old corpse, and reeking of death, holes eaten away at once whole flesh. He dropped onto the floor and a long snake like tongue flickered out of his mouth. "Alpha? Oh hes somewhere about. What do you need him for?" He asked in a dull monotone way. The kind of tone that showed he didnt care, but asked because he had to.
Rathian He listened and watched the little elf. "Flying? Its... its power, its freedom, open air and speed. I cant describe the passion it gives someone, to open wings and fly above trees, mountains, and clouds." He said and looked at his own hands. "If you ever would like... I'll show you." He offered, looking back up at her, his eyes searching her own face for expression. |

"Precisely my point. If such a thing were done, they would weep for hundreds of years and even then some! It would be the cruelest fate of all, crueler than death itself. I am so glad I am finally able to find someone with such a like mind, but alas Coral Goddess of the Emerald Reef, you seem to have quite an act for these mischievous affairs yet you still lack a certain je ne sais quoi." He smiled with a lavished expression. "I am not sure if a neckless would be a fitting end to their mangled ears, no-no. The elves might mistakenly believe that they are valuable in our eyes if their ears become something valuable themselves, and being your high lord above all else, I do not desire that outcome. There must be something far crueler out there than that. There must be something else." A glimmer of light sparkled in his fangs as he smiled broadly at a most ingenious idea that was so desperately trying to leave his lips. The dragon was glad there were no elves present at the sanctuary, else this back and forth banter would be quite scandalous. But, the Alpha took a liking to this rather sinister subject. So much so, that Dark Shadow grinned the entire time. "Elf ears have a perfect point, not for fashion, but for picking teeth you see. I always struggle with the gap between my canines and I can name nothing worse than a fate such as that!" A chuckle simmered in his throat for a moment longer as he stopped to embrace the cruel idea. It was dastardly wonderful. Of course, it was all hypothetical, there was no seriousness to any of this nonsense, but he hoped none of his members overheard their discussion and took offense to it. Either way, he would enjoy it nevertheless. Mithyra continued to possess a large smile throughout their walk to his lair. The scraping of claws against the floor reverberated across the lair's walls, back towards their ears while members of his clan traversed and talked amongst themselves, and before long, the two of them came upon the large entrance against the left side of the Sanctuary. There were no other caves on either side of his, emphasizing his importance and level of authority. Two dragons could easily stride in through the Alpha's den side by side without grazing the walls with their hide and even further in, the cave was far wider. Mounds of gold, various jewels, chest filled with treasures, and other various items were piled in the center of the lair for all to see. The gold's color danced and sparkled as light trickled into his lair from the outside. Occasionally Dark Shadow would catch entertained looks by visitors whenever they passed by, simply because it seemed to fit the human stereotype of a dragon den - the gold, the mounds of objects, and things. Most dragons did not fit the persona, so it was amusing for them to see. Even he chuckled at the sight of it. After all, he had so much here, he scarcely knew what he had, aside from the books and scrolls, which were his true treasures. Against the walls of the lair, collections of chests, scrolls, armor, and weapons that were decorated on stands and on tables. He waved his tail ever so slightly as he strolled into his domain, observing the twinkling light of the gold and jewelry. Then his eyes meandered onto the red velvet throne chair that he would always sit at whenever he'd delve into his manuscripts and texts given by his mentor. He never really thought about where a guest would sit considering he never thought any of them would ever desire to hear him ramble about lore and whatnot. However, Dark Shadow knew he would be able to figure out some sort of solution, or Mithyra might enjoy simply resting on his mounds of gold...no, that would not do. Unlike him, she might not enjoy resting on hard surfaces and gold was not very comfortable to the average dragon. Fortunately, he had a few tricks up his sleeve for these occasions and it didn't worry him any. "Make yourself comfortable Mithyra, and I'll set up a seat for you in the meantime." He said smoothly, walking further in.

Tags: Cazram; Eggs -Zephyrus; Orpheus; Rajani- (Forest) Before there was time for a reply, the mother of the brood - or that is what she claimed to be, arrived at the scene with a snarl at her lips and she was armed with a threatening voice. “I suggest you step away from my brood…” She warned him as she approached to gently check on her eggs. Bowing his head in obedience, the man took a few strides away from the mother dragon and the small lives she clung to protectively. "Forgive me for the misunderstanding, I am Akitoshi Kage, a simple wanderer of these lands. I mean you or your brood no harm. I was actually rather concerned for their safety considering the disturbance that you and that other man had caused not too far away." He explained in a calm, collective fashion. "I followed that man to this location and stumbled upon your eggs as a result. Now I am here." |

Feeling her excitement swelling up inside her, the young woman began to bounce in place more openly now. "That's amazing!" She chimed as her hands clasped together at her chest. Watching as the man began to look at his palms, the words he spoke caused the elf's eyes to widen, her jaw to drop. "S-Show me!? Ha! Can this day get any more exciting!" She almost started to squeal that is until she realized she was reverting to her "almost scary" excited self from the past. Feeling her cheeks start to burn with embarrassment, the woman stopped her repetitive bouncing and slowly removed her hands from in front of her chest and placed them behind her. "I'd really like that." She said as she averted her gazed, a giddy smile itching to replace her somewhat calm expression.

Watching as a greenish slime slowly seeped from the space above her and sloppily splatted on the stone crafted ground, the dragoness rolled her eyes up to the owner of such a discharge. Sidestepping away from the rather revolting liquid, the dragoness raised a brow as she watched this beastly dragon slink down from his hiding place. His scent was almost worse than the sight of him, being of a regal breed, her nose was rather sensitive to putrid odors. Holes were clearly eating through his scales and flesh, how... how was this beast even living? Upon hearing his monotoned voice and seeing his rather disinterested eyes, she knew he wasn't concerned with what the jeweled dragon had to say. "I have news for him... as well as I'm looking for someone." She told the decaying creature before her. The dragon's silver eyes glanced passed the male, clearly taking a glimpse of the residents in the background. |

| Rathian He took her hand in his, almost excited to have someone to talk to about this. "Then trust me." He said softly and took off running, yanking her behind him. The rush of blood in his ears sounded like viking war drums. As he ran he hoisted the little elf up with one arm, transferring her from his hand, to his arm and working her body up until she perched onto his shoulders. "Hang on!!!!" He bellowed as he ran up a fallen tree, leaping over the river and spreading his arms. His fingers crackled and stretched like rubber, flicking out as his skin webbed and stretched into membrane. Flaps of skin from his shoulders stretched out and his hips reached to his pinky finger, forming fully fleshed out wings. His head became broad, long, spiked. Smoke poured from his lips and nostrils as his eyes darkened to a black and golden red. Frills lined his neck as it too stretched and lengthened out, his body following. The skin underneath the elf roughened to hard scales of pure armor. His legs popped in and out of place until they took a sharp and sturdy look to them. A full, thick, whipping tail grew from the base of his spine. Long and slender like a snake. He let out a deep and thunderous roar that echoed over the trees and rumbled in his chest. His chest plating shook and the trembled his body like the base of an instrument. His chest broke the waters surface before a loud clap rang out, his wings had smacked the waters surface and with a few hard strokes he was rising into the air. He worked himself above the tree tops and soon they glittered through the clouds. The air thinner, but the heavy heat he put off made the air thick and rich. His large lungs made it easy for his body to work the air flow. He roared out and a deep voice crackled from his lips. "This is what it is, to fly!"
Lucifer The Male rumbled lowly and lifted his head to meet her gaze. "Well Alpha is a bit busy, so if you would advert your attention to me. I'll gladly help you. My name is Lucifer, right hand to the Alpha." He hissed, a foul heated breath ripping from his lungs and wrapping itself around the female. |

Light had been out in the forest since Ember and Trinity snapped at her a bit. It wasn't anything too harmful. She's handled the bullies back at home. The leaves crunched underneath her toes, making her squirm, but she went to her usual spots along the forest where she found most of her herbs earlier in the spring. Most had dried for the season, but she managed to get a few cool looking leaves. They were intact, most of them were orange, but one of them was a brilliant red that she really liked. Almost as red as Embers scales, her expression soften at the look of it then kept moving on, going further into the forest. It was easy to get lost, but easier to get back home. - Quote :

Her anger led her away from the cabin, storming away, her sword hitting her thigh in her fury. How dare he? Belittle me so suddenly? He wasn't always like that but now? He doesn't deserve my help while he's like this, she shook her head, her march firm, but her thoughts kept her from paying attention on where she was going exactly; hopefully somewhere where she could lose him. But her pace began to slow down, then she let out a loud, agitated groan. "Bloody hell, how the hell could I have left Sean there," she mentioned her horse, and she rubbed the corners of her eyes to the bridge of her nose. "No, no, he'll be fine, I'll just... Head back in a few hours," but her eyes drifted to the tree tops slowly, realizing it was almost sundown. She should head towards the tavern to stay a night. But which way was which? - Quote :

She sneezed, rubbing her nose for a moment. The sun was going down in a hour or two by this point, staring at the sky between the tree tops. Perhaps she could find the mysterious place of where all these dragons were. She is no master tracker, but this forest is riddled with all kinds of dragons, and yet, not on in sight. She transformed into her white dragons form and tried to sniff out any scent, but the fall leaves and her small cold were preventing any real results. She marched forward on what she thought could've been a direction of where they could rest. - Quote :

Staring at his empty cup, he rubbed his hands on his trousers for a bit of warmth. She'd be back, right? Scratching the stubble on his chin, he glanced around the garden. It was surprisingly well kept for the most part. Was she blind? Did she mention it? He poured himself another cup, chugging it down, before standing up. He couldn't waste anymore time. Thoughts haunted him that this may not be the last place Light has been, or that this may have been her final resting place. What if his granddaughter had a mate? He swallowed hard at the thought. What if she's bleeding to death this very second? What if he comes across her corpse? Anxiety and the knowledge of not knowing was the only thing that pulled him up and began to clean up the dishes as best as he could without breaking the china. Although he was getting information from the young girl, he doesn't have the time to wait much longer. And he apologized for that. - Quote :

She must've passed out on the sofa while waiting for her croissants to bake. Which is pretty bad considering it doesn't take long for them to bake. She bolted from the sofa and spun into the kitchen, only to find her father with a small bowl full of golden croissants, including one that was littered in his beard. "Don't eat them all-" He raised a hand to her, swallowing his last bite and looked at her. The look sent a cold shiver down her body and she looked to the side. "I don't want my house to catch fire or smell like a burn't log," he said, brushing his beard from all of the crumbs. "You need to take more responsibility for your actions and everything around you, girl," he grabbed another, his hands covered in dry dirt from working all day, and began to eat another. "Don't let this happen again because you were careless." He shuffled off back outside and she slowly looked at how many were left. Four, which isn't as bad. She walked to the window and see how far his father was; then ran into action. She grabbed a cloth and wrapped the remaining in it, then looked around for some string. - Quote :

He had been quiet for a long while it felt like, un-moving, but an unfortunate event occurred to him; he needed to pee. His eyes stared at the lion. The creature was pretty intelligent, it seemed, but his eyes flicked to the cabin that was a yard away. He swallowed, before whispering softly, "hey, um, so I have to tinkle. Since you're my prison guard, can you, um, escort me to some bushes over there," he shifted his head towards the direction of some bushes, the same direction from which he came from. It seemed a bit pointless to talk to him but maybe he would understand. A little. Who knows, the last town back, there was a dog who could count. |

- Watching as the stranger bowed, the mother's eyes narrowed and her upper lip raised as if to snarl, however, only a frosty mist was pushed passed her gritted canines. Slowly, the woman began to relax back down as this foreigner backed off as suggested. Rajani then listened to what he had to say with little aggression. "I see, you are..." She paused for a moment as if debating whether or not to give forgiveness to the male "forgiven..." She continued as she straightened herself into a taller stance, "I am Rajani Icecrea, and these are the fools which cling to my scaley hide, fool number one is Cazram, though I'm sure he didn't neglect to give his name, and the other lesser fool is Orpheus." She introduced herself before glancing to either side of her as if to introduce the others, first towards Caz then back to Eus, granted the foreigner was blind, he couldn't see her actions. "Though I fully intended on maiming the runt just behind me for entering my abode and showing his face in my presence... he's managed to swain my better judgment, there for at the moment he's nothing to be concerned about, however, I appreciate your sentiment." She told him as her purple hues fixated on his clouded orbs "He will not dare touch my brood if he knows what is best for him."
The lad began to scowled as he was addressed as a fool, though he couldn't help but smirk over at Caz when he realized he was more of a fool than himself in the dragoness' eyes. That was quite the accomplishment there, he had to be a true chicken to earn that spot. Still, with a sh*t eating grin on his lips, the man began to snicker as he glanced off to the side. It seemed almost as soon as the soft chuckles had left the young mans mouth, Rajani's tail had whipped up of the ground about three inches flew sideways, colliding into Orpheus' legs knocking him off balance and onto the ground. With a loud thud and a displeased groan, the wavy-haired boy snapped back with a grouchy tone to his voice, "What the hell was that for!?" he asked, of course, he didn't get a reply, only a quick irritated glance. Shutting up, Eus retook his previous upright posture and began dusting the dirt and grass from his dark attire. - Quote :

Watching as the lesser fire dragon began to tilt his head to the side, the charcoal grey, and gold dragoness held her kind expressions to the best of her ability. It was going to take some precious time to get used to this... act... she had to keep up. Then again, what if she let the cat out of the bag and made up a lie to cover it up? Would he be intelligent enough to see through the wool she so kindly pulled over his eyes? It was probably best for the moment not to reveal too much, not just yet, Jilaiya had after all arrived mere moments ago. Taking in every little detail of this delicious prize before her, she noticed his sideways grin was quite charming as was his enthusiasm... he sort of, reminded her of that stubborn Orpheus she could never get to bend to her liking. As the lad beamed with delight he began to ramble on again responding to her in the process, "Ayye, preach it girl. That's why I love this job so much, I couldn't imagine doing anything else to be honest. I was practically born for it!" With a seemingly legitimate chuckle leaving her maw, Jilaiya then smirked in return for his teasing wink, "Well, it seems you've found your place, haven't you?" She said with a slight hum at the end, "Knowing where you belong is the best feeling..." She said before he motioned for her to come along. With his back turned to her an evil smirk washed over the dragonesses once kind expression for a second, she had her foot in the door now she just had to keep playing the game so everything would fall in her favor. Smiling with as warm a smile as she could and her mind on the award ahead, Jilaiya picked up the pace, quickly returning to the male's side as his eyes glided to her feminine physique. Of course, she noticed his hues caressing her scaly hide almost instantly, how could she not? As they walked, she had introduced herself and to her pleasant surprise, the golden-eyed lass caught Drake muttering her name to himself in quite the fond tone before saying, "I like that." softening her eyes and looking off to the side, as if to be slightly shy all this attention was quite empowering in more ways then one for the female, "Oh, why thank you..." she replied before returning her gaze to the path ahead of them. About that time was when her wing had 'accidentally' brushed against him, from that point on, Drake seemed to act calm yet his eyes stayed glued to what was ahead of them, instead of dancing all over her... had she gone too far? How, it was a slight brush of her wing! Was... was he still a virgin to romance?! Cursing herself silently, she hoped she didn't just set herself back ten feet. After what seemed like several minutes, the red-scaled dragon began to speak again, saying something that made her raise a brow, "Oh?..." She continued to eye him, clearly wanting to call him out on his sudden slip of the tongue. She'd heard him talking to the dragoness just ahead of them earlier, and with that social butterfly attitude, he had to have talked to every girl within the sanctuary and then some. Letting it slide, for now, Jilaiya nodded her head to his next statement, "Oh, wonderful... I'm currently in the market for a den so I'll keep this location in mind." She told him as she shot him a little grin, maybe she had flustered him, was that why he seemed to have clammed up earlier? Having her mind pulled from the topic, she watched as he began to pay attention to this dragoness named Morsa. Feeling a bit of jealousy creep into her chest, the woman felt a scowl wanting to take her uncharacteristic smiles away. However, she fought back the urge and remained to be calm and collected, a sweet smile resting on her lips. However, to her surprise, this woman seemed to be rather taken with her as well... which was unexpected. Very, unexpected. "Why, hello." She said feeling a bit of relief from her green monster within, this fea was attracted to females was she not? Either that or she was just very friendly. Catching Drake's figure stepping back away from them Jilaya returned her hues to him, his eyes looked somewhat pained... Oh, was he feeling something? Keeping a grin from nipping at her lips she returned her eyes to Morsa, "It's nice to meet you." She greeted the fea as she shifted on her clawed feet. Leavin her greeting to that, after Drake was kind enough to introduce them, she began to follow the male again. Staying particularly close to Drake now, the woman flashed him a quick look, she wanted to show him she was concerned without raising alarm to the other dragon. - Quote :

As the man took hold of her delicate hand, Aya's head tilted sideways for a moment as she seemed to be confused, "Trust y-?" she began to question him before he quickly yanked her entire being into a dead sprint. With eyes wide with shock, the elf woman did her best to keep up so she wouldn't be dragged by the draconic being. However, through the shock and confusion, the elf felt her excitement once again growing inside her chest. Was this really happening?! Was she really getting ready to fly with a real dragon?! This was amazing!! With bright eyes and quick footwork, she did her best to keep at Rathian's heels. Through the whistling of the wind in her long elven ears, she could hardly hear the sound of their feet hitting against the earth. Just how fast were they running, she had not run like this since she escaped her imprisonment over five years ago. Soon enough, the muscular man hoisted her up into the air, causing a surprised squeal to leave the girls lungs before she was safely on his shoulders. That entire process was nearly a flash, one moment she was on the ground and the next she was there mounted on his neck and shoulders. Quickly, Aya figured out where to hold on to him at, "R-Right." She stammered, what the heck would she hold on to? his ears?! For a second her mind was in a panic before she quickly figured out a way to hang on to his neck and shoulders from where she was perched. Within moments, Aya's foam green eyes were blessed with the unnerving sight of a fallen log which led to a slight drop-off and then the river... Slamming her eyes shut out of the sudden fear of falling, the elf missed most of the process of his shifting. The sounds of his bones pocking and crackling as well as the change in skin texture beneath her finally brought the girl to open her eyes. The man was quickly becoming, dragon, his skin was replaced with rough armored scales and his arms were stretched out and webbed with think leathery flaps of skin. It was amazing, so this was how they shifted, and what it looks like. "W-Wow." She muttered as she readjusted her hands as spikes and scales replaced the masculine shoulders she'd been holding on to. He was now much larger then he had been before, creating more room for her to sit on and move. For the moment though, the elf wasn't going to move until his flight leveled out. Once his shift was complete, Rathian let out a loud, rumbling roar which startled Aya at first causing her to jerk, she could feel the vibrations of his voice and lungs beneath her, the power in which he held inside with a simple vocal movement like that was amazing. However, her amazement along with her excitement for those first few seconds faded rather drastically as she heard his wings collide with the water let alone the water which was already grabbing hold of his chest he wouldn't get stuck from the water tension, would he? Surely not he was a dragon but... did water affect their wings like it did birds and other flying creatures? Becoming rather worried for her new winged friend she watched as he thankfully caught wind through a few hard beats of his webbed appendages they were then climbing up and into the air. Soon, the two of them were breaking through the clouds, Aya couldn't believe her eyes. Overly excited all over again, the elf began moving around a bit to get a better look past his moving wings and head. "This.. This is absolutely amazing, Rathian!" She said as she loosened her previous death grip on his scaly spines. Her voice was filled with giddy excitement more so then what she expressed earlier on the ground.
(Hesterian, Aya's Lion) Back at the cabin, Hesterian watched Ria closely and the intruder even closer while his companion was away. Soon the man began to squirm in place, the lion knew those little movements people seemed to do when in need to relieve themselves. Growling lowly, the lion stood up and walked over to Ria before motioned for the elf to go and relieve his bladder. Sitting down beside the small child, Hesterian nuzzled her as his eyes trailed after the elf man.

"I am Akenehi Imperius, I'm here to inform your Alpha of a group of dragons which wish to destroy all royal bloods along with any other dragons that stand in their way. I'm sure your leader is fully capable of protecting himself along with his people, however, the others thought the same." She started with the most important news which she would have rather relayed directly to this Dark Shadow character, however it seemed she would not get that lucky.

It was uncanny, how disconnected Kolvar was acting. What had happened between here and the market to cause him to be so… distraught? Walking alongside the elf, Riya watched him closely until he politely allowed her to take the lead. As the young woman took a few strides ahead of him, she folded her hands into one another and held them just in front of her waist. “Kolvar, may I ask what’s eating at you? I don’t mean to pry but… you were quite the character this morning in the market. What news has caused your very being to faultier?” She asked as she glanced over her shoulder at him. For a while, the elf stayed silent, his eyes were locked on the soil beneath their shoes. After some time, Kolvar’s voice broke the silence between the two. Looking back at him the peach haired woman smiled, “Yes, it’s quite a nice manner isn’t it.” She agreed as she looked up at the building they were walking up to, “I, for the time being, do live here. It’s very peaceful… The couple that own this estate are rather old and are always welcome to help those who need it.” She informed him, “If you ever find you need a bed to sleep in, never forget that this manner is here.” She made sure to offer him her hospitality. Hearing the elves boots fall silent, the dragoness quickly turned around to see what the problem was, “Kolvar? “ she called to him, “Is something wrong?” She asked as she paused for a moment to listen. Crying… there was a child crying? It was very hard to hear with her human ears but she could just barely hear it. “Yes… it’s very faint though.” She informed him before quickly starting towards the stables, “Let's grab the horses, no child should be lost in these woods!” She told him as she gathered up her dress and began to run to the small horse stables. Having not been too far off, the fair woman quickly grabbed her horse. Mounting up bareback, Riya made sure to grab ahold of his horses reins and pony it back to him at an acceptable speed.

| Rathian Hearing the elfs excited cries and pure joyment, made the beast of skies feel giddy like a child with a new toy. He extended his long wings and stretched out the fins on his tail, balancing him and letting the creature fly level. Without the harsh beat of wings, rathian slowly floated downwards until he flew just beneath white/pink fluffy clouds. Breaking only to show the beautiful skies above, below, the landscape. Beautiful emerald trees with murky rivers and crystal lakes. The harsh jut of mountains in the distance. He closed his eyes for a moment and let out a rumble, simalar to a cats purr. "Aya, I'm glad I was the one to welcome you to the sky." He said, his voice rough and piercing now that it was mixed well with a dragons voice.
Lucifer He seemed to mull over this, his long tongue flicking out for a moment before he turned and seemed to count on a wall. 1 mark....2....3.... he snorted and looked back at the female. "Alright, Miss prude and mighty. Follow me." He grunted and began moving through the cave, his body making a soft squishing sound and the occasional clink of raw bone hitting one another. He mumbled lowly to himself, like he was repeating what the female had said word for word since he had met her. In truth, he was. Lucifer, for being a nasty stretch of defiled corpse, was an avid listener. He could hear things he was never meant to hear, and he repeated it. All of it. Everything he had ever heard stayed with him, locked into a metaphorical vault in his mind. He heard everything. Forgot nothing. This is why Dark Shadow relied on him, his memory and his power. For being right had of the king, Lucifer always seemed to play dead when in trouble. It usually worked. The beastly male lifted his head and made his way towards Dark Shadows den, the obvious first place to look for his king. |

I cannot imagine a Goddess lacking anything! How dare you make such an assumption, sir! I work hard on my acts, I’ll have you know. Not anyone can be as exuberant as I am! You should count yourself lucky to have me here.” She giggled, not able to quite hold a serious composure but dramatizing as though she could be nonetheless. “But, I suppose I can give you credit for that monstrosity of a plan. Meat in your teeth can be such a-hahaha!” She full on laughed this time, just imagining the towering Alpha picking his teeth with a dried elf ear. She had to admit, she could share in his delight in the morbid concept, at least for this time. He seemed to find great amusement in it too. Mission accomplished. They proceeded to walk down the large hallway and into the space of his study, and her eyes widened with each step towards it. The large mound of gold and treasures she already saw was astounding. Not only that, but it perfectly fit the image of a commanding dark Alpha running an entire armada of dragons within the confines of the Sanctuary. Did he ever move around his treasures, or spend them, or did he let them sit and gather in the well-used abode? The question swarmed her head as she trotted up to it and gave it a few small sniffs. It didn’t smell used...but her smell was far worse on land than it was in the water, where she felt more connected. However, her tail wagged slightly in interest, and when Dark told her to make herself comfortable, a wide grin spread on her face. Oh, she’d find a place. Taking a clawed hand and digging out a spot, she shoved her face into the mound of gold before wriggling her way through, shimmering gold coins clinking against her scales and clattering on other coins or on the ground as she continued through. It wasn’t until she was completely buried when she poked her head out of one area, her tongue sticking out at Dark across the room before she grinned. “I think this is cozy enough! Thank you for your lovely accommodations, they are absolutely lovely.” She went quiet for a moment though, looking at where she was in the pile. “It might make it a little hard for you to show me things, but you can just plop yourself down over here. Or maybe I’ll squirm out in a bit. Who knows. I’m the Coral Goddess, I can do whatever I want! Within reasoning. Let me tell you though, this is a lot different than sitting in the ocean.” - Quote :

But he stayed silent, not wanting to hang himself over the issue. Rajani was here, and she’d keep her eggs protected. His head turned up to her as he kept the two small beings close, watching her...forgive the man. Forgive?! He just about had a panic attack right then and there. What kind of person was she to be forgiving?! She threatened to kill him about thirty times already, but this guy strolls in and tresspasses and he’s set aside. What made it even worse was him being the greater fool. Ugh, what a mess. Not that he was surprised of course. He was just thankful that she didn’t take her children from his grip so fast, and let him keep them for the time being. He was granted that dignity, at least. It helped his head stay lifted a bit. However, the man besides the raven dragoness began to chuckle at the mentioning of her ‘fools’, and if he had any courage, he would have snapped at him right then and there. On the other hand though, he was across Rajani’s width, too far of a distance to reach him, and he himself was no initiator of conflict. His eyes stayed off the man, at least until there was a thud on the dirt floor, and he found himself glancing over to see the man on his rear, like he belonged. He couldn’t help but snort a small puff of smoke from his nostrils, but didn’t speak a word as he looked between Rajani and the strange man he had encountered minutes beforehand. Mithyra blathered on about his previous assumption that she was lacking in imagination. Naturally, the dragoness was very vocal against the idea but she dropped the subject and started laughing at the notion of picking teeth with elf ears. Her words dissolved into laughter that carried on through the sanctuary walls. And when they happened upon his abode, she wasted no time plunging herself into his vast piles of treasure and gold. The coins rattled down the mounds, onto the stone floor. She squirmed comfortably in the pile like a snake in sand, submerging her body in his riches before poking her head out from under it and flashing her tongue at him with a pawky grin. While she did so, he shifted into his human form. “It might make it a little hard for you to show me things, but you can just plop yourself down over here. Or maybe I’ll squirm out in a bit. Who knows. I’m the Coral Goddess, I can do whatever I want! Within reasoning. Let me tell you though, this is a lot different than sitting in the ocean.” Dark Shadow gave her a smug look as he leaned into the throne chair, and enthroned himself on it with one leg crossed over the other knee and his elbows supported on armrests. The man's fingertips were pressed together as he looked at her. "That may be because you're lying in gold and not in water, but that's just a guess." He said sarcastically, gently arching one eyebrow at her. "At any rate, I believe we should get started before the evening begins. I am the alpha after all, there is much to be done in a dragon sanctuary." Chuckling deep in his throat he reached to his side and swept an old book into his hands, which he took from an open chest filled with ancient texts which was placed beside the chair. He examined the book for a moment and opened it to make sure it was the one he wanted to read out loud first. Ancient books never had a title and the elves never had any differentiating chapters. So it was difficult to know which book you were reading unless you have already gone through it. But yes, this was the book. Dark furrowed his brow as he gently turned a worn page. "Have you ever seen elven writing before?" He asked her, looking up from the passages for a moment. "It is called elvahnish to us and to humans. The language is...very complicated, and very difficult to learn considering elves are rather prideful about their race. They do not teach outsiders their language or their ways our of pride." He huffed somewhat at the idea before leaning forward with the book held out for Mithyra to see. To an unlearned eye, the text seemed like random scribbles in place of words starting, at the very top of the page to the very bottom without any indentations. Like cursive writing, elvhanish connected their letters and slanted them to the right. There were also faint decoration and symbols highlighted at the left-hand side of the page. In the light, they glistened with a golden hue. When she took a good look at the text, he pulled back and glanced at the writings once more. "What do you know about elves and the Derkonic A’Varae, Mithyra?" He inquired, figuring it was little to nothing considering elves rarely came up north, especially near water. She might have known some things about the Dragon Feud that happened in ancient times, the battle that took place between the humans and dragons, but some were never taught.

"I see, you are...forgiven." Akatosh gently dipped his chin down as a sign of gratitude. His clouded eyes remained on the female. She addressed the other two males and herself. She was Rajani Icecrea, the red dragon with her eggs was Cazram, and the one she was previously in a quarrel with was a man named Orpheus. He nodded once more as she finished and said she had appreciated his sentiment, and that Orpheus was no longer a threat. "He will not dare touch my brood if he knows what is best for him." The seriousness from her tone wafted into his ear, chilling him for a moment. From the way she had spoken these words, Akatosh instantly knew she was not one to trifle with or irritate. Clearly, she had experience in causing harm to others. Her harsh words was a warning to him as much as it was to the man Orpheus, she was capable of many terrible things. He didn't flinch or turn his head when Rajani knocked the man behind her down with a sweep of her tail. He could not see the action but it was easy to get the gist of what had just occurred. His eyes may have been blind, but he was not unintelligent. "I see that all is under control then, and I see no reason to linger here considering this is your business, Rajani Icecrea." He responded courteously, turning his head from one individual to another, sensing their general direction. "If you are not in need of anything, I will part ways with you, but I am glad to see others of the draconic kind still in hiding. It especially pleases me to see young ones in development as well, it has been a long time since I have seen young life. I trust you will care for them and in return care for our species, thank you. Even in the company of the strange elf, Ria was content doing her own thing. She hobbled back toward her lion companion as it gestured to the elf with the pillbug crawling on her arm. She looked at Hesterian with a smile before glancing back at the bug. Its legs tickled her as it shimmied across her skin. "Hesie, Hesie, look! She didn't feel comfortable in the Sanctuary quite yet either, considering she was so new to the place. "No, it's okay. I wouldn't mind." She assured him delicately. Watching as he shifted into his dragon form, the light glistened off his seemingly diamond colored pelt. His ruby colored eyes found their way onto Ashley before he pushed off of the ground and flew up to escape the massive ravine known as the Sanctuary. She also shifted, being an average build with a dusty grey colored pelt, grey eyes, and soft fur lining down her spine. Her head was directed up toward Jace. He was already some ways above her. Ash's unremarkable eyes almost seemed to gleam in some excitement when she gently opened her wings and pranced up off the ground to get herself into the air. Pushing the wind beneath the skin of her wings, the smoky grey dragoness ascended up toward Jace. She softly came to his side, observing the trees and the vegetation outside of the chasm."Do you travel often?" She murmured.

⧫Crush:None⧫Tags: Riya⧫ Kolvar hadn’t even noticed Riya had already swept herself away to the horse stables to gather her horse and Brannon. He was so locked onto the little cries and screams of longing. He had a strange feeling but worriedly tried to sweep it into the back of his brain. He faintly heard the clopping of horse hooves within his phases hearing and without a second look around, Kolvar kept onto Brannon lightly kicked his sides to get Brannon sprinting as fast as he can. The wind blew his long brown hair behind him whipping all around due to the force of the air. He used his elven ears to help locate his way. ”Riya, you may need to follow a little behind just in case! I don’t want you getting hurt!”, Kolvar yelled behind him with a slight turn of his head just to get the message behind her. He knew there could have potentially been guardsmen waiting to ambush him. With a furrowed upon his face, Kolvar could hear the cries getting closer and louder as he closed in and just as he expected he heard a couple of guardsmen rustling around too. Letting go of the reigns, he picked his body up and crouched onto Brannons back and timing it well he leaped into a thick tree branch grasping on for dear life. He quickly pulled himself up and turned his head to the left to find Brannon running over 4 guardsmen as he charged away into the bushes disappearing from sight. Kolvar silently took his bow from around his chest and gathered a couple of arrows as the guardsmen picked themselves up off of the ground. He had his bow and arrow ready to go and he was clear minded until he had seen them harshly jerking around Varos. Varos winced and cried in pain as a guardsman dangled him my his arm basically swinging him around like a rag doll. Anger boiled inside of him as he raised his bow and pulled back the arrow. He inhaled in and as soon as he released his arrow, he exhaled out. His first target was the guardsman violently swinging Varos. The arrow went through his chest completely and the guardsman reacted slowly but eventually toppled over and stopped moving. Varos luckily got out of his grip and hung close to the base of a tree shivering and wide eyed. Kolvar quickly finished off the rest out of anger and when he made sure the coast was clear, he gracefully jumped from the branches and onto the forest floor. He looked over to Varos and telepathically asked him if he was okay. Varos silently nodded his head with eyes full of relief and shock. Kolvar checked to make sure all of the guardsmen were dead before standing up and turning to face Varos. He walked over in a slow pace in order not to spook the child and gently knelt down in front of him. Varos looked him in the eyes and Kolvar watched as the tears started to slowly fall from his face but quickly picked up speed when he realized he was going to be safe. What Varos did next really threw him for a loop, Varos leaped into his arms and held on around his neck crying. Kolvar wasn’t going to pry him for answers right now but he got the feeling he couldn’t return the child to his mother. He had the strangest feeling that his mother was no more. Kolvar gently picked the kid up as he began to stand up. He turned to face Riya with the child tightly grasping onto his clothes and Kolvar knew he couldn’t avoid it anymore. “Riya, this is Varos. Today i learned that he is my son, I didn’t know about him until today. I get the feeling his mother is with us no more.” Kolvar eyed her waiting for her response. He couldn't even put his own emotions into words as he looked a little ways down to see Varos with his runny nose gently rubbing his face into his shirt smearing snot all over it. Getting squeamish, Kolvar looked back to Riya with his face twisted a bit in disgust. He definitely wasn't used to children but he needed to find a mother for Varos, he meant it when he said that he was in no position to raise a child. The child silently cried out for his mama but he knew she was gone. - Quote :

In this part of the forest, everything was dead. No creatures roamed the land and there was no brush or greenery no matter which direction someone looked. In the near distance, anyone with fantastic hearing could hear the crunching of dead leaves and twigs below someones shoes being crushed to oblivion. It was rare to see someone in this part of the forest as it is mainly avoided by all due to rumor of it being secretly cursed. A little girl makes her way through the forest singing the tunes of her Coven's choir. She shows no signs of being the least bit worried from running into thugs or someone who could harm her. Olivia was her name, she had no fears because she knew that she had the power of her coven with her as well as her mother's strong spirit. She continued to sing her songs as the forest around her began to fill with more life, that's how she knew she was heading to the right direction. She was on a mission to find a strong witch who could help her draw out the dangerous task that she was looking to accomplish. She and her coven knew that it would most likely end in her death but she had already came to conclusions about that. She knew what she was asking for was dangerous, but she knew what she wanted. She giggled at the thought of it all and set her fire red eyes forward as she began to merrily skip to where she last found the road. "I know the road... is... somewhere this way." She silently spoke to herself stopping for a moment to look around and then continued on her way with a skip and a jump as she remembered the right direction. She had finally come upon the dirt road next to some shabby shack that looked sad and pathetic but also seemed to be abandoned. She raced down the dirt road giggling thinking she could make that her home for now until she could find a better household to be invited into. She continued to sing her coven's music with a soft voice. Some time had passed and she was really out of breath for running at full speed for about three quarters of an hour? She couldn't remember. Her black cloak was beginning to become too hot but she knew she couldn't take it off. She sighed but her face quickly lightened up as she came to the end of the forest to see the city bustling with life. "This is it. Now to find them." Olivia spoke to herself as she giggled and continued to make her way into town.

After a good while, she sat down underneath a tree. It wasn't the happiest sight to see, especially when she made this excuse to ditch the girls. It wasn't that she didn't like doing all of the "guy-watching" thing, it just felt more like a waste of time. She still had a hundred or two years left before she could decide on all of that. Who could ever challenge your wise intellect?” Rolling her eyes, she watched him pick up an old book from a collection of dusty old things. Dusty old things for a dusty old man, she supposed. She tucked that note in for later as she snorted quietly to herself. This was such a Dark Shadow place to reside and spend his time. She didn’t know the male well enough to know every detail of his life, but she still agreed with each of his actions that he ruled this place, and he knew he did. Who else would hoard ancient items like treasure? She wasn’t sure that she could name any other dragon that did such a thing. He was a fascinating specimen, that was for certain. Her eyes honed in on the pages as he addressed her with a question, about to respond when he continued on. Elvahnish, huh. She mouthed it, and it felt weird to pronounce. It felt like eating molasses from a tree. But it didn’t really matter on how it was said, as long as the point got across. The emerald dragoness was however curious by his explanation of the language. Ironic that Dark spent his time studying a language that did not want to be studied or learned by others. Such a cheeky man. He turned the book to her, and her eyes widened as she stared at the page. What strange symbols....her head cocked to the side as she studied it. How could he possibly understand it? She doubted there were many texts in that hulking chest that explained what the words meant. “Did you find this in the sea? Because it looks like a fish slammed itself on the paper.” Grinning slyly, she righted her head and settled it down on the coins. “But no, I’ve never seen elvena...elven writing before. Certainly nothing ever close to that either. Then again, my writing isn’t to be praised. I could probably pretend to write it and get the same effect.” She couldn’t help but giggle a bit, though cut herself off. Would it offend the Alpha if she compared her own writing to such an ancient and beloved pass time of his? She couldn't judge that too clearly. But she shook her head. “I don’t know much about elves either. Hailing from the sea side, we don’t hear much of earthy invaders. Maybe if you wanted to know about scavenging beasts, or things that dwell beneath the sea, I’d have more knowledge! But you’re the captain on this boat, so sail away with your wisdom. I’m prepared to be taught.” Showing her sharp white canines again, she settled down fully into the coins, her eyes bright and focusing on him intently. What all would he show her today, contained in the books and writings of old? - Quote :

If she placed down regulations and expectations, Ryn could adjust to being a proper housemate and would be able to care for her next home easily. Not that she didn’t before. Bur the young woman had no previous knowledge of this new villager, considering that she did not frequent her establishment of work. “I will require that you partake in some of the weekly chores. My home is not very big, but I do like to keep it tidy. Things such as making your bedding in the morning after awakening, cleaning your dishes after meals, and keeping track of your belongings are some of the only things I will ask of you. I expect they will not be too burdening for now.” She smiled just a tad as they entered the street of houses, Alanis’ feet taking her to her home mindlessly. ”You also must find a job, but that is a given of course. I will do what I can to assist you in your search, but my home is a shelter, not an environment, as I like to say. It is not meant for us to live our lives in, but rather use it for rest, recovery, and relaxation. The world beyond is meant for everything else.” Realizing she was starting to get off topic, she shook her head. “You know what I mean, though. Chores and getting a foot in the door for a new path in life is all I ask currently.” |

“Wow, how insightful Your Majesty. Who could ever challenge your wise intellect?” He expelled an indifferent huff at her words but watched her reactions to his teachings. He could see the cogs turning in her head as she mouthed a word, most likely the word 'elvhanish' from the looks of it, and made a perplexed expression before examining the book he had set out for her to look at. Her eyes panned across the pages of text. She was obviously clueless and it caused him to grin off to the side a little. “Did you find this in the sea? Because it looks like a fish slammed itself on the paper.” She teased. Dark Shadow brought the book back to himself and looked over the lines. What, a fish? Well, that was one way to put. He gave a halfhearted chuckle at her next line of words about not having seen this writing before but not being a great writer herself. Her never having seen elven writing was expected. After all, elves never really ventured out towards the sea. They preferred their vast stretches of rainforest at the center of Interra. If Mithyra had seen this writing before, then he would have been surprised. "Hm, well I can guarantee that would require much more skill than simply slamming a fish onto paper," the man chuckled deeply. "Then again, I have never tried that technique so perhaps I will one day...I have tried my hand at copying such symbols but unfortunately, my attempts have all been unsuccessful. I have been told that only certain elves are permitted to write these books, and such individuals are not only high in status within their people but they are trained to do nothing else but write and design pages such as these. But that's what I have been told. I don't know for certain if such a thing is true. If it were, it would make sense why these texts are so difficult to come across." He had quickened his speech somewhat once he realized he had been rambling a little. None of it was relevant to her question and he didn't need to talk about his speculated ideas. He could wander in that subject for days and he had no time for such a feat. So he cleared his throat and listened to her explanation about knowing very little about elves, but that is why she was here. Again, it amazed him that she was here at all. Dark flipped through a few pages of text and listened to Mithyra. Her sailor humor was quite refreshing. "Well then let us set sail, shall we?" He chuckled, briefly looking up over the book to her with a smile. Her intensive, curious expression only made him all the more eager to continue. Who knows, perhaps she might use this knowledge someday. So he began with the Dragon War, where all of it began. He started at the beginning of the elvahnen texts to browse over anything he might miss along the way. "The Derkonic A’Varae was what was known as the Dragon War of old, back when the Ancients roamed the land and sea. Humans were beginning to strike back against dragons during this era out of greed and wealth...they prayed upon hatchlings and older dragons and sold their pelts and bodies to other humans to break them down for shields, armor, and enchantment items. Dragons could use magic back in the day so merchants would sell dragon body parts to others, claiming that they had magical properties. It fooled the humans, but it was all a dishonest scheme in order to get rich." Even though the idea was complete carnage, Dark Shadow had very little bias as he told the story. Dragons usually went into detail about the death and bloodshed their kind faced, but, he was not one to go off stirring emotions in others. Death happened. There was no need to go into such detail. "Quite a few humans still believe in those lies. It still happens today, though it's not as common." He paused for a moment to read before continuing with the war. "Naturally, the mindless massacre angered the Ancient dragons and drove them to counterattack...and so began the Dragon War. The elves entered into the war much later when the humans sought for a way to retaliate, considering how powerful our kind was. The elves were paid handsomely to provide the humans with runes to dispel our magic...not much is mentioned about the elves in this war other than their cowardly attitudes for not daring to make a stand. This is why this book is so interesting...have you any questions or shall I continue?" He inquired gently, knowing this was quite a lot of information to take in at once.

Tags: Morsa; Jilaiya (Sanctuary) Jilaiya passed him a subtle wink while she responded to his comment about 'being born for this job' with a soft smile upon her maw; he only acknowledged it with a radiant smirk though but he didn't reply. She then proceeded to like of looking around the Sanctuary at the different den locations. "Oh, wonderful... I'm currently in the market for a den so I'll keep this location in mind." He was glad to hear that. Drake smiled a bit, honestly glad he would have the chance to see Jilaiya around more often. She was such a strange female and he felt like she was more than she appeared to be, but there was something about her. He couldn't put a claw on it, but he would enjoy having her around, even as a friend. But he was thinking off topic here, he needed to show Morsa around first. She was his priority, and Morsa didn't seem pleased with this place. "That cave is a good contender but I would like to see more. It was spacious but the entrance was oddly shaped and smelled of 5 day old rabbit." She said. He laughed quietly. "Well then I shall show you the other dens then! Onwards!" He said loudly. So turning from he den they were at, Drake walked down the line to the next denning location as Jilaiya glanced at his direction in a concerned manner. Why was she looking at him like that? Ah, well maybe he made a face earlier when Morsa was introducing herself. Oh well. Drake simply raised his eyebrows but he didn't say anything. He didn't mean to come off like that. With a perkier attitude, the red striped dragon came upon the next den. The tip of his red tail weaved from side to side, much like a cat, as he strode with the two females and stopped at it. Some males might have puffed out their chest in pride for being in the company of such lovely dragonesses but Drake only puffed out his chest in a playful manner, only to tease and poke fun at those types of males. "And here is contender number 2." The male addressed as if he were advertising. "For those who likes wide open spaces and a good view of those romantic sunrises and beautiful sunsets, we have this den right here. Its spherical entrance makes light easy to enter in and give you a good morning call. But don't let the open entrance fool you, it's bigger than it looks." Drake smirked somewhat as he stepped inside to show them around. The walls were smooth and the space inside was large enough for roughly three dragons, which made it a rather descent den. The male stepped back to let them examine it over. "Sooo, what do you think?" He chirped, glancing from Morsa to Jilaiya. "Is this a little better than that old oddly shaped, rabbit infested den or what?" He chuckled.

With a nodded of her head the dragoness spoke up once more, “Yes, as am I. We are growing thin in this world after all… Be safe in your travels, Akatosh.” The dragoness spoke with her head held high. Starting to turn from the stranger, Rajani paused as Orpheus’ voice broke through the sudden silence, “If you stumble across a dragon by the name of Abbadon… Get him before he gets you…” He mentioned before turning with Raj to follow her. Shifting down into her human form, the Raven haired woman stepped towards Cazram to collect her brood. “Thank you, “Beor”... You did your job nicely…. Now, help me carry my young to my abode… and if you so much as stumble on the way there I’ll make it painful for you to breath.” She smirked at him coldly before gently picking up one of her eggs. They were rather large for a human to carry however, one wouldn’t be a problem for her. For a brief moment, the new mother held her egg close to her chest in her crouched position as she gazed down at the charcoal grey shell, it’s scaly like texture reflecting in her pale hues. Pushing herself up on to her feet, the assassin started towards the old cabin, Orpheus following in toe. “So, who is the lucky man, hmm? I thought you’d only willingly bed down with Malachi but obviously, you’ve let that pain escape your mind…” the man's voice was soft, almost a whisper as he walked beside Raj, his arms crossed over his waist. “What makes you think this was a willing occurrence?” She questioned him causing the man to pause in his tracks and his jaw to drop. A hearty laugh followed from Rajani, as she did receive the reaction she was looking for. “Who has made you such a nosey child hmm?” She asked him, “My love life is none of your concern Orpheus… And I would appreciate you keep your big nose out of my business.” She stopped his prying with that. Looking back over to her right she waited for Caz to catch up.
After a short while, the three of them had arrived inside the cabin and were staring down into her den, through the trap door. Once inside, Rajani quickly began making her nest of coins more cozy for her eggs with fabrics and other materials. Her underground den was huge compared to the house above it. She’d filled it with a substantial amount of gold too, it was a true horde of gold like in the fairytale books, and it was almost just as impressive as Dark Shadows. “Beor, please bring the last egg to me.” She asked, at some point during the nest preparations, the raven-haired woman had shifted into her dragon form and was laying curled around the egg she had been carrying. Over in the far corner of the den, Orpheus was sitting on a treasure chest which had it’s lid slightly ajar. “So, you ready to listen to what I have to say or what?” the lad somewhat asked as he fiddled with a roughly cut sapphire stone. - Quote :

Being somewhat pleased with his simple smirks, the dragoness continued onward however she didn’t much enjoy his attention being fixated on the other female. Keeping her green-eyed jealousy concealed, the woman followed along silently while the two spoke of her potential den, what she did and didn’t like regarding the current one she’d just finished examining. ‘Wow… what a picky one she is…’ she thought coldly to herself. Again, Only getting a simple brow raise from her concerned looks towards him caused the woman mood to sour even more. Being an assassin that worked with her own lusty actions, not getting all the attention wasn’t something she enjoyed… something that Abaddon often used as a punishment. ‘Calm yourself Jilaiya… He’ll give you attention soon enough…’ she thought to herself as she continued to try and keep a calm look on her face. Watching as the male seemed to act high and mighty puffing out his chest in the process with the two fea’s on either side. He didn’t seem like the type to silently brag like that, however, maybe he was teasing… poking fun at those types even. This caused the charcoal grey female to grin, he seemed… fun. Staying just off to the right of the entrance, Jilaiya waited patiently for the woman to exam the den and give her verdict. “My Drake, you can really sell a den to any woman with those sugary words, huh.” She teased, “You really make dirt and rock look better with your paint of words.” She told him, clearly impressed as a smirk played on her lips. Would the woman shoot this one down just as harshly as the last? She wouldn’t blame her if she did though, dragonesses were rather picky after all when it came to their love nest. Well, any of the dragonesses she knew were… “Being a picky dragoness myself… I’d have to say that this one is quite lovely.” She told him with a smile playing on her lips. “The amount of light it takes in is wonderful for those who enjoy a lot of light… The smell of it doesn’t smell half bad either, I mean, it smells mostly of earth. I take it no one had lived in this one for a while.” She asked curiously as she stepped inside. Looking around it was quite roomy too, a small family would be happy in here… a meeting could be held here rather. But, clearly it wasn’t very cut off from the rest of the dens, something she would need to be able to meet with Orpheus.

Watching as the beast's wings extended out and his tail flaps flared out to catch the wind, Aya giggled, “Sooo cool!” She muttered as she bounded a little on his back out of excitement, clearly unable to contain any of it. As they glided along, the woman took in the beautiful sight before them, the setting sun had illuminated the clouds in a gentle pink hue. Lifting her left hand up towards the clouds, the elf was surprised to find that the clouds didn’t feel as soft as they looked, they were damp like fog and cold. “Amazing.” She whispered as she giggled and brought her hand back down to his scaly hide. Leaning towards the edge of his back, the girl's foamy green eyes wandered to the earth below, everything looked so small! “Are those really the trees?!” She asked with wide eyes, they were such a beautiful deep green. The rivers from up here looked blue too! It was all so astonishing and so breathtaking. Leveling herself out, Aya sat forward, only to see the beautiful mountains ahead of them. How could she have never been up in the clouds like this before? So many people were missing such a beautiful sight… If everyone could get along… maybe there would be more who’d be able to experience this… However, that was only a fools dream, humans feared dragons and dragons hated humans for the most part. Feeling overwhelmed by the beauty and the sadness of it all, tears slid down the girls face, however, she kept her sadness silent against his rumbling purr. The vibrations tickled her legs, causing a smile to roll over her teary face. “A-Aww, I’m glad you’re the one to open my eyes.” she told him as she rubbed away her escaping tears, “it’s so beautiful up here, and flying is amazing. I could have never imagined it being like this.” She told him softly. “Thank you, Rathian.” leaning down she placed her arms around his neck and shoulder area and attempted to hug him, he probably couldn’t feel it all that well through his scaley hide but that was okay.
(Hesterian, Aya's Lion) Hearing the child’s voice, the large albino cat looked to the child and the insect it had crawling across it’s arm. Purring it’s rumbling purr, the cat stared at the bug for a moment before looking back to Ria and giving her a lick to the face. She had gotten dirt on her face at some point and needed a bath, Hesterian wasn’t against bathing the child, as he had done the same for Aya when she was a babe. After delivering the lick, the lion looked back to the elf then gave a grunt and a sigh, clearly the lion wasn’t enthusiastic about the male elf being near but he didn’t feel he was a threat anymore either.

Rolling her eyes once more, the woman ignored his comments and began to follow. She’d rather not get into a scuffle with this one, god knows what filth grew in his open wounds. As the walked along the dimly lit cavern halls, the dragoness listened to those around them muttering and chattering with one another about this that and the other. Nothing in particular that they spoke of caught her attention, what did though was the whispers of the male leading the way. He was literally repeating everything she’d told him, over and over he repeated. For being half rotted away he had quite the solid memory. Before long, the two would arrive at the alpha’s nest, she wondered if this fellow would listen to the words of another royal, she’d imagine he’d push her aside as the others had, it was their choice though… it’s not something she can change or control. Shifting down into her human form, the raven-haired woman with bright blue eyes made her way down the last stretch of hall to Dark Shadow’s den.

She wanted to see those attempts one day, compare and see what his writing would translate to. Would it be like his explaining now, just with random nouns and verbs to make no sense, or would they be slang of the elven language? Now that would be something. Her eyes sparkling, she stuck out her tongue at him in a playful gesture. “I think the elves still exist. Because then, they would use their oh-so-powerful magic to hide their works from you, knowing how you would take it with your filthy paws and ruin their sacred meaning. After all, you’re just a bit ol’ pest to those guys.” Grinning from horn to horn, she kept her muzzle rested on the coins and treasure. “But told, you say? I’m surprised that anyone would be willing to inform the Alpha of anything. I thought He knew it all. Basking in the glory of his riches, providing for the poor and weary, standing tall above all the rest...I never thought he’d take any new information from anyone below his stature. In seriousness though, does that mean someone else is just as dorky with you about this? If you were told, most of the time I’m fairly certain there is a being on the other end of those words.” She gave him an amused look, trying to hide her laughter and not doing that well. However, when he seemed to get that certain gleam in his eye, and began his explanations of the war, she quieted down fully to listen to him. The emerald dragoness was quite a lover of stories, often gathering on the beach for tales of the elders and readings of the stars. They inspired her to create her own story one day, be written in the shells that would be washed upon the shore and shown to generations after her. Did Dark want something similar? It was something she wanted to ask him at some point. But putting her mind back on track, she kept her eyes honed on him. With that, her eyes grew wider with each new detail, piecing together the history like a storybook in her head. All of the fighting and the blood spilled...she couldn’t even fathom how it would look like today. Dragons were not in giant, plentiful numbers, at least not across every biome. They were in their own territories, and protected their own. If they were common, like chickens or those weird prickly plants, it would make sense for them to conquer both elf and human. The humans made a good choice, she had to admit, in hiring a strong force that would defend them. If dragons had a larger force they could summon, they would do it. The selling of body parts however...that sent a shiver down her fins every time she thought of it. That was something she could never imagining nowadays. Even if it killed them, she was sure dragonkind would rise up and rip the flesh off of anyone dealing in that type of business. Blinking out of her thoughts, she realized that Dark was waiting on an answer, seeming finished with his part. She expected him to continue - stories were usually told until interrupted, then continued. At least among her family and kin they were. Giving him a small, embarrassed smile, she gestured for him to continue with a clawed forefoot. “Oh no, go ahead. I was enjoying it. Don’t let me and my little fish brain interrupt your deep dive.” The sooner he spoke again, the sooner she could wrap herself in her imagination again and immerse herself in what he told. - Quote :

Well...they were hers. He felt a little embarrassed when he saw himself scooting the brood closer to his dusty white scales. She could kick him out whenever she wanted, excuse or no. But that name...Beor? He blinked. Did she have a stroke? It didn’t seem like it, because she still threw threats at him clear as day despite his smoke. Oh, what did he get into? Nodding in obedience, he watched her enter the house, hoisting the egg up like it was nothing. He could have done that… He huffed. Puffing out his chest, he shifted into his normal human self and picked up the other egg gently in his arms. He prayed that nothing would happen between here and the however many feet it was to the door. Taking in a deep breath and holding it, he walked carefully after the woman, though was caught off guard by the other male’s comments. Why was he asking about it, and why wasn’t she chewing him out completely for it? Sure, she may have responded in her normal snarky attitude, but he would have expected some more teeth to result from it. Well, it seemed being the greater fool gave him the privilege of being her chew toy. Oh well - he had a tough exterior. Or at least tried to build it before she ripped it apart with those rather sharp talons of hers. After making their way through to the belly of the whale so to speak, he had to admire her rather tall hoard of treasures and coins. It reminded him of Dark’s, but he wasn’t going to compare for worry she would snap. He watched her make her nest in a dip before he rushed up - calmly - and placed the egg next to its sibling before getting off of the pile and standing politely off to the side. This business between her and the stranger was not his to conduct. |

She prattled and played some more with him and the subject of elves. Her smile beamed across her maw. She giggled and said, "but told, you say? I’m surprised that anyone would be willing to inform the Alpha of anything. I thought He knew it all. Basking in the glory of his riches, providing for the poor and weary, standing tall above all the rest...I never thought he’d take any new information from anyone below his stature. In seriousness though, does that mean someone else is just as dorky with you about this? If you were told, most of the time I’m fairly certain there is a being on the other end of those words.” Mithyra covered her lips as she tried to conceal her obvious smile, knowing full well it hadn't worked. The man smirked at it. Though admittedly, the beginning of the conversation had wiped his enthusiasm away and replaced it with silence. He was not think too deeply on it. After all, Dark knew Mithyra wasn't serious -but the way she talked about him being far above others seemed to nip at him this time. It didn't too much, but just a little. When she finished though, his look faded. A slightly amused breath escaped his lips and his white teeth flashed for a moment as he cleared his throat and said, "I have met one or two - as you put it - individuals as dorky as I am in my travels. Who do you think I learn from? The books? The scrolls? I was not always like this." Having assured her of it, the man had told his stories and offered up his question. He perceived the slight tilt in her eyes as she envisioned the war and soaked in his words. He made no comment on it but it brought him a touch of pride. From the outside though, there was no change in his expression or posture and no one would have noticed he was feeling such delight. Her daydreaming was stopped when she realized he had asked her the question. She smiled coyly. Then she rolled her talons as a gesture for him to continue. Dark Shadow heard her comment and chuckled. So he leaned in to get comfortable. He didn't know how long this would take after all. His shoulders slumped forward to read and his light steel colored eyes trailed across the pages. "Very well then," the man said with a pleased nod. He adjusted the book and said, "this is 'The Dichotomy of Asaerians and Runes' by Elder Ardryll...all writers in elven clans are called Elders. He lived through some of the war and passed the responsibility of recording it onto his kin once he passed." Then Dark began translating the text and telling the story. Now that the background was settled, he could begin. "'The clan had remained vigilant to the altercations between mankind and the draconic kind even until the 88th moon cycle. But as our shaperate has affirmed to me in secret, we have no position in this matter. We remain watchful. Yes, there was cruelty beyond our borders. Such brazen and unkind disputes often called for trouble among our own. Last sunrise, one of our places of worship was destroyed by a spiteful dragon. Delirious in its own rage, our clan quickly put it to death. No one was in the shrine when it fell. Thank Ilythyrra for it. She has surely smiled upon our clan but so little of our kin remains. We see our sky darken with the plumes of smoke from the war but we watch with unsurity. The chieftains of the neighboring tribes have yet to make a stance but we know we will linger here in safety'...Though it's not talked about, many of the other elven tribes refused to fight because they were just done from overcoming an elven disease, which is mentioned by Elder Ardryll another of his record of history." Dark said rather slowly. He glanced at the chest beside him filled with ancient books. The books were stacked in order by their dates and races. An almost sad sigh drew up from the air in his lungs. A longing came to his eye. "I used to have it." He said, turning his face to Mithyra before continuing to read. He put the disheartening idea of his text behind him and read aloud. "'Our children have not yet matured into warriors. They have yet to master their gifts and so our chieftain refuses to aid the humans, despite their pleas for our help. We set up barricades of brambles and thistles to keep us shielded from them. For now, we eat humbly and do what we can for our own...'"

Tags: Morsa; Jilaiya (Sanctuary) Holding his head high and proud, the male smiled to Jiliaya's swift comment about being able to sell any den to any woman - my that was quite the compliment! He had not expected that. With her choice of words too he would have blushed over like some fool but thankfully that wasn't the case. He was already a red dragon. It was a good save. Drake smiled radiantly but he kept quiet as the female stepped into the den to observe it. Her beautiful golden eyes rolled across its walls. She turned her head with interest and from what she was saying, she seemed rather interested in this particular one. "Well that's what I like to hear." He said. "And you are very observant, nobody has lived here for a while. Most of the other dens are usually picked before the guides get to this one." He affirmed it with a nod too. But then Drake simply observed her quietly. The cogs in his head seemed to be turning for a while as he thought on something, wondering if it would be a smart decision. He wasn't hesitating on it, but he was unsure. Furrowing his brow as he pondered, he looked away and continued to allow the idea to soak in before attempting it. 'Here it goes,' he told himself, blowing air out through his lips for relief. Then he turned. The scarlet striped fire dragon raised his head as he turned his attention onto Jilaiya. Morsa didn't seem to be paying too much attention so perhaps this would work without her noticing. He glanced around the den as if he were glancing at its flaws. "Hm, you know, I think I forgot to tell you something." Drake said. "Rather important, and since I'm the one offering service, dens that are picked with me supervising comes with a...catch..." His orange eyes flickered onto hers. When it had, a soft wave of confidence radiated from his expression.

Feeling the large feline purr was almost like hearing Aya sing her to sleep. "That is very nice, child..." He had said. His purring caused a cozy feeling to well up inside her frail, little chest as if she were being told to drift off to sleep. Like always, Ria set her small hand on him. Her soft skin felt the prickling of his fine strands of white fur. Then Hesterian inched forward. His long tongue caressed her face, causing a geyser of giggles to bubble out from the young toddler as she pulled her arm away from him. Her round blue eyes did not hesitate to look back for guidance. When they had, his deep, familiar voice rumbled in her head. He had turned his head to eye the elf in the distance, much like an overprotective father. "No, young one but you will be safe." He seemed rather content now. Perhaps it was because she was right under his shadow and if need be, he could protect her from other dangers lurking in the forest. "Ohh, okay," She said sweetly. She continued to examine the bug in her possession. |

-Crush ~ X - Tags ~ Dark - Location ~ Sanctuary As Dark replied of his source of learning, she returned it with an amused smile and a shrug. “Oh, were you not? I have a hard time believing that, Mr. ‘I own almost every elven document known to man’. Interests do not always have to be given by word of mouth. But, I will take your word for it,” she mused. “I should not jest too much - I have quite the dorky side myself.” She lifted her head with a smirk in amusement, but as the male adjusted to continue reading, she herself kept settled and awaited for what he had to say next, her eyes glued to him. He looked rather silly, crouching over the book like it would give him the answers to life. Slap some glasses on him, and he could be an elderly man trying to read the writings from his youth. Which was fitting given the title of the next text he was reading from. Lots of words she could not pronounce later, and he was off again on the tale of the runes. The beginning speaking of the moon cycle confused her - what did they classify as a cycle? An entire month? A week? As a dragon who often saw the moon hanging delicately in the sky, she could attest that there were many classifications for what a moon cycle could be. Darkness to light could happen within a span of two weeks, from full light to full could be a month. Wanting to raise her hand like a child and ask, she bit her tongue to stay quiet as he read through the documentation of the fall of the shrine. Was it a dragon Dark knew, or one that was recorded in history frequently? Perhaps he would pull out another book talking about the entire family tree of it, how they rose to victory from a poor childhood and destroyed the shrine to weaken the elven and make their own pack of dragons free, but rather getting themselves killed and leaving their wife and children behind. Creating the backstory of the dragon could have gotten her too distracted had she not been so intent on following the Alpha’s explanations. And hearing of the disease...she scowled a bit. Both sides had suffered previously or presently in the time of the scripts. Why was suffering so prevalent in the writings of the old? Perhaps it was to increase the dramaticity of their lives, but she couldn’t help but wonder what the books would have looked like if they shared the brighter moments of life, where they used a certain plant to cure a disease like he mentioned or built the tallest tower upon the tallest hill. Those would benefit society just as much as the negativity. But, she wasn’t about to travel back to when they wrote it and tell them how to write their stories. She supposed it was just as well that they wrote the bad things, rather than nothing at all and let history repeat itself. When Dark went quiet at the end, after a look at his bulging chest of texts, the emerald dragoness felt she could have some of her questions answered. “First, what do they classify as a moon cycle?” She blinked with wide eyes over at him, her chin still settled upon her claws. “Would it be days, a month, a year? And why did the dragon take down the shrine, just to attack their - well, I suppose our technically - enemy? Or something greater beyond that?” Her eyes went to the collection he had. “How much detail have you discovered from all of these books based on the stories? I can assume this dich...whatever its called can be scrutinized by every word based on your knowledge and discoveries.” It would be fascinating if he knew. Being able to know every part of history was likely one reason why he was so successful with his Sanctuary and the dragons that followed him. It was rather amazing, and admirable. |

Your Character response goes between these quotes ^^ Sapphire and Light The two almost practically bumped into each other. First, Sapphire had her grip on her sword immediately, but blinked, seeing a pale girl in a green velvet dress. White hair, like none that she’s ever seen. Light, on the other hand, was stunned but tensed when the woman gripped the hilt of her sword. “A-Ah, sorry,” Sapphire released her sword. In the back of the sword maidens head that this girl reminded her of a witch from a child’s tale. “I-It’s fine, I wasn’t paying attention..” Light nodded, admitting to her fault, looking at the basket full of last-minute herbs before the winter months. Sapphire reached and grabbed the basket for her, handing it to her. Light studied the woman's features; a strong jaw, blue eyes, blonde hair in a tight braid. This woman had skilled in combat. “Here,” Sapphire nudged the pale maidens hands. “O-Oh, yeah…” Light took it and there was s silence in the air for a long minute. The last sight of sunlight broke away over the horizon and only color was in the sky. “Hey, so, I’m lost. Do you know which way the nearest village is?” Sapphire cleared her throat, and Light drew in a breathe. “I, um… I’m not from the area,” Light said. But honestly, she hadn’t been to the village for almost a year, unsure which direction it was exactly. Someone always took her to it anyways. Sapphire let out a defeated sigh, walking past her to sit on a log. Light looked towards where the Sanctuary was then back to the woman. A guilt feeling was crawling through her, also, not sure how to leave without being followed. “I’ll stay with you through the night, t-to make sure you’ll be okay,” Light stepped towards Sapphire. Sapphire blinked, looking up at her, then scoffed. “Says the gentle maiden. It doesn’t seem like you don’t even have a knife,” and that comment made red go to Light’s ears. But Sapphire’s expression softened, standing. “Here, let me take you back to wherever you’re staying and-” and Light shook her head quickly before saying quietly, “A-A friend and I are… Having a fight and um, I was just going to stay a night out here… T-There aren’t a lot of predators in this area,” Light tried to sound convincing, but Sapphire nodded gently, sitting back down. “I know how that is…” Light slowly walked next to her, sitting down next to her. There was a moment to silence, again, before Light got up. “I’ll get some wood. You… Know how to start a fire?” Sapphire looked up at the girl as she said those things, then smiled with a bit of confidence. While the girl went to get wood, Sapphire began to clear up leaves from a clear spot that was near the log, then digging up dirt a bit with the heel of her boot. “My names Sapphire,” she said loudly, enough to make Light jump. “L… Lia, my names Lia,” Light said cautiously. Light was a strange name enough, so Lia was good enough. Nash; you know, that elf hanging out Pulling down the bag, there was the large jar. “Y-You want some?” His voice cracked slightly when he asked the little girl. It was polite to ask first, but to him, the girl seemed healthy and fed. But peaches, in his point of view were almost a delicacy, and wasn’t sure if this kid was more of a apple kid. He began to unscrew the lid, biting his inner cheek because we just broke the seal. August and Ann Once at the top of the trees, Ann was quick to spot her grandfather flying lower to her. “Let’s go high and see if we can spot any other dragon,” he said to her in a low voice, his body slowly landing on top of a tree, the branches creaking and snapping under his weight but managed to somehow hold him up. Ann nodded, shifting into a similar dragon form as his, but a smaller version. Except her had a bit of beard hanging from his jaw to his chin. Up higher, the two swayed into the clouds, the sun disappearing. It wasn’t safe from them to be high at this time of day; especially at night. But after a few years of searching, there was a tugging annoyance that they haven’t sound her yet. Following August, they went lower and landed in a very small opening, careful to not bump into any tree branches. Ever since they had left The Hidden Elf village, there was always a soreness he carried when he was in his dragon form. It took too long to recover, in his point of view, from his injuries. But they walked, their wings against their backs as they glanced around. “Ann..” A low growl escaped him, and she followed him. The smell of dragons was stronger in the area. They looked at each other, spreading away from each other for a moment, but August heard it; the sounds of thousands of dragons; very faintly. It was almost like it was underground. Ann heard another growl from him, a sign that she had to follow, and soon, there was an opening. A cave opening. They both looked at each other, almost hesitant. There were many caves filled with dragons that they had visited; most weren’t friendly. But the smell of the many different dragons; they might be able to blend in. Chloe; Disappointed She allowed the donkey underneath her go into autopilot as she began to stress eat the pastries. The girl was dead? Her cheeks heated up, trying to not get too stressed. “It’s always something… Girls always come and go or married…” she reached and rubbed her eye slightly. Instead of getting as bummed out as usual, she steered the animal towards town, tossing the basket that once held the pastries into some grass. {Sorry for lack of colors} |

Watching the changes in expression wash over Drake’s muzzle caused a slight grin to rush over the female's maw. If it wasn’t for the males natural red color, he’d probably have been blushing from head to tail. This amused the actor, ‘Ah, he’s easy to fluster…’ she thought mischievously for a moment. Getting his bearings, the lad seemed to quickly retort, “Well that’s what I like to hear.” he told her before continuing on with his spiel. “I see, seems most of the folks around here are missing out on the best dens around.” she chuckled before catching that odd look on the dragons face. He was staring at her, with a wondrous look in his eye. Had he caught her, had he found her secret out? Staring at him blankly for a moment, the woman chuckled before beginning to ask what he was looking at, hopefully playing it off as if she had something on her would work… however, as she was about to ask if she had something on her muzzle, the male had turned his eyes away and then returned his gaze again. He was pondering something, what could be on his mind that was causing him to act in such a manner. After a while, Jilaiya had removed her gaze from the red dragon. Maybe he wasn’t feeling well or he’d forgotten to include something. Clearly, she was wrong to worry it had to do with her ‘secret’ stepping off to the side the crested dragoness meandered about the den until she was back in the far corner. It was odd, but cave walls tended to grab her attention, the slight glitter of the stones or wet stalactites was always rather interesting in the woman's eyes. Sitting down, the charcoal grey dragonesses eyes were pulled from her rock viewing to face the male once more. “Did you?” She questioned as he stated he thought he forgot something. So she was right? Raising a brow the dragoness grinned at him, “Oh? And what is this …. Catch…” She questioned him as she slowly wrapped her tail around her front legs. What was this man up to… surely he wasn’t trying to get someone on one time with her… no, he wasn’t that sort to jump from point A to point Z… Though, she had to admit that look in his radiant dawn colored eyes was sending quite the pitter patter through her scaly chest… it had been a while since she’d been this… hungry for love. Feeling her dragonic cheeks blush the dragoness rolled her eyes off to the side as she waited for his response.

Nearing the alpha’s den, the women's keen ears tuned into the sound of a strong masculine voice just beyond the stone walls. The males voice was gruff, low, and speaking in a readers tone. Upon arriving at the door, it was then Akenehi could make out the words in which the man was reading off in such a leisurely fashion, "'Our children have not yet matured into warriors. They have yet to master their gifts and so our chieftain refuses to aid the humans, despite their pleas for our help. We set up barricades of brambles and thistles to keep us shielded from them. For now, we eat humbly and do what we can for our own...'". Raising a brow only slightly, the woman recognized this tale, it was hardly a story, it was history of an eleven society, a clan. And she of all dragons knew that books on Elven history did not come written in dragonic or any other language other than their own ancient elvish tongue. With a smile pulling at her lips, the fair-skinned woman broke her silence, ignoring the emerald scaled female who was consumed by the ancient writing. “That’s quite the book you have, not many can read such a language and translate it so cleanly.” she started her light hues locking onto the fellow she’d come so far to speak with. “Forgive me for interrupting, “ dropping her arms from their cross position, Akenehi brought one to her hip while the other stayed resting at her side. “I need to speak with you, Dark Shadow.”
